Digital Resonance: Enhancing Pronunciation through Tech-Infused Teaching Strategy
Get PDFThe intention of this research is to discover the implementation of Cake in teaching of pronunciation and to uncover the students’ perception toward the use of Cake in teaching of pronunciation. This research applied qualitative descriptive method. The study was conducted at a private vocational school in Cianjur West Java Indonesia in the academic year 2021. The participants consisted of second grade of banking major at the ages between 15-17. Two of them were male and ten were female. This research collected the data through observation and a forced-choice questionnaire format where the participants were asked to choose one of the available selections (Yes or No). As the data were collected, the writer analyzed them. There were six steps in analyzing the observation as well as the questionnaire: (1) preparing the data to be analyzed, (2) reading or viewing all data, (3) coding the data, (4) generalizing the code, (5) creating tables based on the data code, and (6) interpret the data code. Over the observation the writers found a new formula on implementing Cake in helping students’ pronunciation accuracy. This formula then is called MRCP with drilling as the teaching strategy. The results of questionnaire show that Cake was new for the student. It has many features that support students in learning pronunciation. The students were also happy learning using Cake and they felt more confident to speak English after learning using Cake

"Ngakken Anak" (Adoption) in the Indigenous People of Lampung Pepadun in Gunung Sugih Sub-District, Sub District Gunung Sugih Kabupaten Lampung Tengah
Get PDFIn the indigenous community of Lampung Pepadun in general and especially the people of Gunung Sugih Village, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency, there are customs or traditions and must have a son (ragah), whether it is born from the mother\u27s womb or adopted children (adopted). The problems posed in this study are, what factors are the background of Ngakken Anak (adoption), how is the procedure for ngakken Anak (adoption), and what is the position of the child who is angken (adoption). The method used, the main method is descriptive carried out by the questionnaire method, interview or interview of informants, informants are people selected as many as seven (7) informants. The result obtained, is that adoption is carried out if one family (mother, father / husband, wife) does not have children or children, especially sons (ragah). Adoption is also often done because it is to increase the family, or as a result of disasters and disasters. The first procedure for Ngakken Anak (Adoption) is through customary deliberation (Perwatin) and the second is requested directly by the family who will Ngakken Anak (Adoption) to other families, both from their own families and outsiders. Stress of Yoga doer and Yoga non doer Teachers
Get PDFThe present study has been designed to investigate the mental health and stress of yoga doer and yoga non doer school teacher. The research was conducted over a sample of 120 school teacher including yoga doer and yoga non doer as well as male and female (30 yoga doer and 30 yoga non doer male teachers and 30 yoga doer and 30 yoga non doer female teacher). All the participants were administered the mental health inventory and stress inventory data was analyzed using‘t’ test. The results reported that there exists a significant difference in mental health among yoga doer and yoga non doer teacher both male and female. Yoga doer teacher have better mental health as compared to yoga non doer school teacher. Significance difference is also observed between yoga doer and yoga non doer school teacher as regarding to their level of stress score
Multilingual Education :Teacher’s Perspectives on Oppurtunities and Challenges at Basic Level Students
Get PDFThis study entitled ‘Multilingual Education: opportunities and challenges’ which is qualitative in nature. The aim of this study is to explore teacher’s perspective on opportunities and challenges of multilingual education at primary level students. in Nepal. To conduct my study, I have used primary as well as secondary sources of data collection. For its primary sources of data, I have conducted semi-structured interview with a teacher of a public school at basic level to find out their perception towards multilingual education. For secondary sources of data, I have reviewed different policies, research papers and constitution of Nepal etc.
The findings of this study included; the students have better understanding over subject matter and they have good proficiency in language. It was also found that there were some challenges that all the teachers are not multilingual, and there is problem in classroom management. At last, we understood, that multilingual education system is good for quality education but the occurred challenges should be minimized by all the stakeholders
Theme-Rheme And Thematic Progression Analysis Of Joe Biden’s Speech On Israel-Hamas And Russia-Ukraine Wars
Get PDFThe study mainly focuses on Theme-Rheme and Thematic Progression in the speech of Joe Biden on Israel-Hamas and Russia-Ukraine Wars. The objective of this study is to examine the type of Theme-Rheme and Thematic Progression pattern found in the speech text. To examine the data, the study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The data is derived from Biden’s speech on the United States’ Response to Israel-Hamas and Russia-Ukraine Wars. The data was analysed using Halliday’s theory (1994, 2004) to analyse the Theme-Rheme and Paltridge, (2006) to analyse the Thematic Progression pattern. Based on the study, it shows that Participant as Topical theme is the most dominant, while, Constant theme is the most dominant in Thematic Progression patterns.

Authority The legal materials used in the research and writing of this dissertation consist of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials.

The formulation of the problem in this study article uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, the location of this research was carried out at a religious institution Islamic boarding school in Semarang regency. Data sources were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use interviews, and observations, while the data analysis techniques used are data reduction and data presentation. For checking the validity of the data used triangulation techniques. The results showed that the process of internalizing multicultural values in religious institutions of Islamic boarding schools in Semarang Regency uses multicultural knowing and multicultural feeling. The implementation of multicultural values has a positive impact on the attitude of students in Semarang district, this positive attitude is implemented in the interaction of daily activities such as equality, justice, tolerance, respect, responsibility, and accepting differences
Effect of Shuttlecock Throwing Exercise to Increase Power Arm Lob Punch in Badminton Players Aged 7-9 Years

To overcome this, can be given a shuttlecock throwing exercise. This study aims to determine the effect of shuttlecock throwing style to increase arm strength in lob badminton players aged 7-9 years in PB. Angkor Kusuma Bojonegoro.This type of research is an experiment with a "one-group pretest posttest design". The population in this study is badminton player PB. Angkling Kusuma Bojonegoro, age 7-9 years, the sample in this study amounted to 8 athletes. The instrument used is the lob Ability Test (French Test).The results showed that there was an effect of shuttlecock throwing exercises to increase arm strength for lob shots in badminton players aged 7-9 years in PB. Angkor Kusuma Bojonegoro. The results can be proven t count 13.805 > t table 2.36, and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, with a percentage increase of 16.5%.Suggestion, the coach can vary the exercise program to avoid athlete boredom, and increase enthusiasm in training
