Still in 2018, we are not in a position to solving the large problem of non-performing asset (NPA). The rising NPAs have curtailed the lending capacity of state-owned banks as they have make extra provisions for bad loans. To strengthen the Indian banks, the government has approach with a Rs. 2.12 lakh crore large integer recapitalisation set up and Rs.80,000 crore for recapitalisation bonds in ending March, 2018.The aim of this study is to understand the impact of non-performing assets on lending behavior of banks during financial crisis, in order to know whether there is reduction in banks lending activity if there is increase in credit risk during the observed period. In present study, both primary and secondary data is used by researcher to find out the results. During study, it has observed that NPAs level is rising continuously in Indian banking industry and there is a negative impact of NPAs on bank lending behavior

Based upon this asanas and pranayamas are being practiced to maintain health and to acquire health from ill health. Thus it is believed to evolve therapeutic yoga from classical Ashtanga yoga. In this study practice of types of Pranayama which have the influence over functional abilities of the group of people is studied. It is only a subjective observational study but not involving statistical analysis. So, in the observed points shows the improvement in functional abilities of the person who practiced pranayamas
Self: narrative, Non Narrative or Both?
Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to understand how we experience and represent self. I would elaborate on this by firstly, stating some of the different perspectives on self. I would then primarily locate this discussion by distinguishing two popular ways of experiencing self i.e. EPISODIC and DIACHRONIC and two accounts of self-representation i.e. NARRATIVE and NON-NARRATIVE. Next, I will present arguments explaining why philosophers have favored Narrativist account on one side, and objections raised against Narrativist by Non-Narrativist like Galen Strawson on another. Lastly, In agreement with James L. Battersby’s viewpoint in his essay, “Narrativity, Self and Self-Representation”, I will discuss the conception of self-experience that is "complicatedly diachronic and episodic, one that also puts special emphasis on the self\u27s elusive, ungraspable, but somehow readily available nature". Thereby, I will defend the way of representation of self which can be both narrative as well as non-narrative

Get PDFThe tribals are an indispensable part of our whole population there are a huge number of tribes and sub tribes prevailing in India having their own culture, language, names, dialect etc. The population of tribals according to 2011 census is 10.43 crores constituting 8.6% of the total population of the country. Majority of them (89.97%) live in rural areas while 10.03% live in urban areas. The decadal increase of the tribal population according to the census2001- 2011 has been 23.66% against the 17.65% of the entire population. The tribal development programmes launched by the govt. since independence have not been able to uplift the tribals in a pure sense and proletarianisation still persists in the tribes. There is need of the tribal upliftment to make their social inclusion possible with the whole population
