Women Empowerment Through Education
Get PDFEducation does not mean possessing number of qualification. It means to empower a person. It prepares the individual to live harmony in the society. Education is the fundamental right for everyone irrespective gender, caste and creed. Women play a variety of role in humans life as a daughter, as a sister, as a wife, as a mother, as a friend, as a grandmother etc., everywhere her role is so important. They are playing each role extraordinarily. But people are ill treated them. Education can improve the status of women. Proper education gives power and earn respect from others. It gives strength, boldness and assertiveness to them. It helps to protest against the problem they faced from others. Education is essential for every women whether they go for a job or homemaker. Education gives the ability to get employment and employment removes the dependency over men. It enhances confidence and courage of women. We should tell the stories of the famous contemporary women personalities like Kalpana Chawla, Sunitha Williams, Indira Nooyi, Nirmala Seetharaman, etc. to the younger generation and make them realise the value of education and through this education alone they achieved highest positions in their life. Trends and Growth in Area, Production and Productivity of Apples in India from 2001-02 to 2017- 18
Get PDFIndia produces all deciduous fruits including pome fruits (apple and pear) and stone fruits (peach, plum, apricot and cherry) in considerable quantity. In India apple is mostly grown in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Arunachal Pradesh. During the last decade, India has observer an increasing trend in the area, production and productivity of crops in the horticulture sector. Apple production plays an imperative role in humanizing the standard of living, per capita income and employment generation. Over the last decade, the area under horticulture sector grew by about 2.7% per annum and annual production increased by 7.0%. During 2010-11, the production of horticultural crops was about 240.531 million tons from an area of 21.825 million hectares (ha). The income per acre in apple cultivation is much higher than any other horticulture crops, if it is done in a very systematic way. Apple cultivation is highly gainful economic activity. It is farm-based, labor intensive and commercially attractive economic activity. The present paper has tried to analyze the trends and growth in the area, production and Productivity of apples in the horticulture Sector of India from the year 2001-02 to 2017-18. It has also visualize on finding out the annual compound growth rates (ACGR), average and, annual growth rate of area, production and Productivity of apples in India for a period of seventeen years i.e. from the year 2001-02 to the year 2017-18

She was born in Mysore, India. She settled in Britain after India got independence. Most of her works represent the longing for her native country i.e. India and the culture and civilization Kamala Markandaya encountered in India. She is known for depicting cultural clash between Indian urban and rural societies. She won international fame and recognition with the publication of her novel Nectar in a Sieve in 1954. It was her first but a bestseller novel. The novel is set in India during the rapid phase of transition. In most of her novels women have significant place. Her male and female protagonists have life-affirming qualities and all important feature which make them true to themselves. There is clear cut presentation of a very wonderful how strong women are aware of the fact that she has strength enough for different kinds of journeys. On the other hand women of strength very clearly instilled with the idea that it is in the journey where they will be mentally, physically and emotionally strong. By making very common people the central characters of her novels, she has highlighted their roles and importance in present-day world. Kamala Markandaya has portrayed women characters into being through her novels and ways. She enlivens her women characters which seems very real and neighbouring to us. Influence of Orgainisation Factors on Employee Motivationn in Banking Sector

When employees are motivated to work, they will put their best effort in the tasks which ultimately leads toward organization growth. In this research we analyzed the Influence of organizational factors on employee motivation. In this study a self-designed questionnaire is framed for data collection. Cronbach alpha test of reliability is applied to measure the reliability of the questionnaires. Regression is applied to find out the Influence of Organization factors on employee motivation. Correlation is applied to the measure the level or extent to which the two variables Organization factors and employee motivation vary with reference to each other. In this study we find out that there is positive and significant correlation between Organization factors and Employee motivation and we also found that Organization factors has a significant impact on employee motivation
The Status of Marginalized Groups in Indian Democracy
Get PDFThe main reason for calling democracy a way of life is that it is based on the human principles of freedom, equality, brotherhood, cooperation, sacrifice and coexistence. Democracy in the true sense is a system of value. Giving every person the full opportunity to develop his personality, as well as every person in the society is just as important as all other people in the society. Democracy is based on such a broad value. If we consider the democratic state in such a broad sense and not just the form of government, it becomes clear that the democratic theory is based on certain basic principles. Considering the basic principles, these include the rights of the individual, equality, freedom, sovereignty of the people, rule of the majority, belief in peace, creation and control of democratic institutions for policy making, etc. The idea of human rights is basically about emancipation and human freedom. Human rights have been considered in Indian society since ancient times. The social message given by Lord Mahavira and the Buddha, "Live and let live", guides the global human rights ideology. That is why the concept of human rights has been clearly enshrined in the Indian Constitution considering the fundamental rights of the common man. Even though India has been independent for more than seventy years, there are huge disparities at the socio-political and economic levels. Today, public policy and decision-making is dominated by the capitalist class, the landlords, the upper bureaucrats, the upper castes and mainly men. This ruling class has an influence on the political and social system. this class, which controls the affairs of the state, is at the center of the whole social system. Therefore, there is a huge number of marginalized groups in the country who are deprived of power, supremacy, justice, decision making and social, economic and political system, Agricultural laborers and the poor. Such groups are weakened socially, economically, educationally due to lack of education and employment opportunities. Even today, these groups are isolated from the mainstream of development. Therefore, in the broadest sense, these groups are exploited, secondary and deprived. 
Effectiveness of Concept Attainment Model in Teaching English Language

Now a day the process of education has changed drastically in the 21st century. With the advanced development of technology, language learning in all its forms has become very challenging today. There has been a huge gap in teacher teaching and students learning. Amidst such condition it has been found by the researcher that model based teaching overcomes the above problem. As far as concepts in language learning are concerned, CAM can be very effective.In the present study researcher choose CAM method of instruction to teach concepts of English Language grammar namely nouns and adjectives with the objective to assess the effectiveness of CAM and also assess its effect in relation to Gender. As researcher wants to assess the effectiveness of the CAM, he selects experiment research method in which “Two group only Post Test” research design was selected. After 14 days treatment given to both randomly selected groups researcher collect the data with the help of blue-print based Self constructed achievement test consisting 50 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each. As a Sample one school of Ahmedabad city was selected purposively for experiment in which two classes were selected randomly consisting total 85 students. Man Whitney U-test was applied to check the null hypotheses. It was found that teaching through CAM was found to be more effective than Traditional Method of teaching and effect of gender was not found significant. This would be helpful to imply that Teachers can be trained to use CAM teaching strategy for language teaching in schools

An Effectiveness of CBPL in Teaching Social Science Subject for Students of Standard VIII in context of Scholastic Achievement

In fact the teaching methodology should be such by which the students can be involved in reading, thinking, problem solving and then learning by their own efforts. For this purpose self-learning material is a very useful technique. There are several Self Learning Techniques in which learner can learn by their own pace. In present study researcher made CBPL with the help of computer programme MS Power point. Students of Std-8 of Gujarati medium School of Gujarat were selected for the purpose of research. Purposive sampling was used for smooth work of experiment. After giving treatment to experimental group data was collected with the help of post test and t-test was applied for data analysis. Can the subject “Social Science” be made easier by using CBPL? Is the CBPL similarly effective for students having high and low educational achievement? The investigator has thought about all such crucial questions for undertaking this research. Findings show the effectiveness of CBPL
