To address environmental issues that India and other countries face, it is essential and very important to commence action at all levels like global, regional, national, local, and community. It is not adequate to have international agreements, treaties and instruments on environmental issues and various problems but completion, implementation and enforcement of these policies and agreements to a large extent determine their impact and effectiveness. In the last few decades, there has been an increasing concern and consciousness about the need to protect the environment, nationally and internationally. Under the structure of the Indian Constitution, a number of Articles are enumerated in which environmental duties to preserve the natural resources of the country have been stated like Articles 48–A and 51–A[g]. Additionally, the Constitution also provides procedures in Articles 252 and 253 for adopting national legislations in regard to the needs of the States. The constitutional mandates and other environmental laws or regulations in India effective, successful and urgent need to streamline enforcement. The creative and innovative role of Indian Judiciary and National Green Tribunal [NGT] has been significant and laudable in this era. In this research paper, an effort has been made to momentarily outline the various Indian legislations and international treaties relating to the environment, which are mainly and more relevant to protect and improve the environment in India. The enforcement, scope and limit of these legislations has also been critically examined and evaluated in systematically manner. Protection of the environment and keeping ecological balance in Indian scenario unaffected is a task which not only the Government but also every individual, association, society, industry and corporation must undertake. It is a social compulsion and fundamental duty enshrined in Article 51–A[g] of the Indian Constitution

Role of Devotional Literature in the Enlightenment of Kerala Muslims
The realm of the written word in local Muslim communities was vast and encompassed many themes, genres and linguistic forms (Ricci, 2011). The devotional genres, as Pad wick observed, take a major part of such literatures (1977). The literary initiatives with devotional themes occupy a considerable position in the worldwide Islamic society. For it helps to create a submissive mindedness towards religion and generate piety in oneself, a high focus has been givento the production of such literatures in every Muslim circle.Role of Devotional Literature in the Enlightenment of Kerala Muslims P. Moyin Kutty (PhD Scholar, JNU)1With a Sufistic perspective, the devotional literatures may enable its reciters/readers to ‘the inculcation of ethical norms, the cultivation of an inner life, and the encouragement of devotion to elders and holy men, living and dead, who may serve as teachers, guides, exemplars, intercessors and conduits of charisma’ (Metcalf, 2009: 18). Beyond the purification of self, the devotional literatures also have a persistent role in making a community powerful and awakened. Taking Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka as fields of study, Susan Elizabeth Schaumburg has substantiated this argument in her work on reviving religion.2 The role of Islamic literatures in the reconstruction of Muslim communities on its diverse aspects is not a later notion developed in the wake of colonial modernity. Rather, it had a long history traced back to the inception of the literary history of Islam itself. The interconnectedness of literature, religion and social awakening is an already proven formula, which does not need more explanation here

Dalit Evolution (1947 to 1970) after Independence: with special reference to Bihar
After independence, the only objective of Indian leaders was to establish a modern, egalitarian, progressive state in India. There should be no discrimination in the name of caste-religion-sex and everyone can get equal opportunity to progress in life. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar made a very important contribution to this work. Through the Constitution, a lot of effort was made to eradicate the discriminatory and exploitative social system that has been running in India for centuries. Before independence, the province of Bihar was also entangled in the quagmire of feudal malpractices. Even now, the backward castes were seen here as untouchables and inhuman and various types of inhuman atrocities were done on them. After the establishment of the Republic in India in 1950, the first elections were held in India under the new constitution in 1952, in which seats were reserved for the upliftment of Dalits and for representation in the Central and Legislative Assemblies under the Indian Constitution. Under which the total number of Lok Sabha seats in Bihar was fixed at 55 and out of these 7 seats were reserved for Dalits. In the parliamentary elections of 1957, the total number of seats in Bihar was increased to 53, in which 7 Dalit leaders were victorious, which were Bhola Raut, Rameshwar Sahu, Ramdhani Das, Nayantara Das, Bheli Sardar, Jagjivan Ram and Chandramani Lal Chaudhary, all successful candidates of the Congress party. He was victorious on the same ticket. The main problem of the untouchables and the Dalits was untouchability and the social incapacity arising out of it. Mahatma Gandhi forced the British government to accept the famous Poona Pact through his fast in 1932, which resulted in the British government being forced to give up the use of separate constituencies for untouchables and Dalits. In return, many posts were reserved for untouchables and Dalits in both the state and central legislatures. The Prevention of Untouchability Act was enacted by the government in 1955. This step of the government brought great relief to the untouchables and the downtrodden and opened the way for their participation in the social, religious, and cultural spheres of society. Restrictions on entry into places of public worship on the grounds of untouchability were removed. In this way, the untouchables and Dalits got the right to worship, pray, bring water from the holy reservoir and bathe in it. There was a provision for punishment of those who used the exercises with imprisonment with a fine or both.

The Problem of Women\u27s Education in India: A Sociological Discourse
In this era of globalization and globalization, the problem of education among women is a matter of serious concern in a developing country like India. Despite the passage of almost 61 years of independence (1947), the condition of education and literacy among women is pathetic. However, many commendable steps have been taken by the government, non-government and international organizations to overcome the problem of education among women, constitutional provisions, the constitution of committees and education-related policies and many programs, etc. Despite this, the educational status of women has not been possible as better than the expectations of the government and the public. According to Census 2001, the female literacy rate in the country is only 54.16 percent, while the male literacy rate is 75.85 percent, that is, the difference between males and females is 21.69 percent. This shows that even today the gender inequality between men and women has not reduced. If we estimate the female literacy rate according to the state, then Hindi-speaking states of North India like Bihar (33.37 percent), Jharkhand (39.38 percent), Uttar Pradesh (42.98 percent), Orissa (59.97 percent), Madhya Pradesh (50.28 percent), etc. The literacy rate of the state is poor, while the states of South India like Kerala (87.80 percent), Mizoram (86.13 percent), etc. have a better position. Thus, regional inequality in the status of education still prevails. Poverty prevails in the country, low socio-cultural and economic status of women, inequality of educational opportunities, faulty administration, etc. As a result, various types of problems such as low health levels, low standard of living, more dependence on men, and other socio-economic problems, etc. have been arising due to lack of education. Therefore, there is a dire need for the family, society, and government to make a concerted effort to improve the educational status of women so that women can improve their status in the family, society, and nation; Because in the absence of female education, it is not possible to imagine a healthy family and society
Principles Employment Of An Indian Armed Force In Internal Security
A major obstacle in the way of an Indian strategy to stem militant violence is summed up in the familiar saying ‘One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter’. Insurgency, terrorism and proxy war are the main components of low intensity conflict operation. Border skirmishes on a street could also fall with in this category. In future, the major international and regional powers could pursue their ambitions through sub conventional operations.it figures at the lower end of the spectrum of conflict and is characterised by asymmetry of force levels between regular forces and irregular opposition, where in the force applied and the violence generated depends on the code of conduct and the capabilities of the weaker side, as also the laws of the land which impose restrictions on the actions of security forces

Above all is the fact that all these undertakings are under the control of 19 government’s administrative has always been a severe problem for the committee and the Bureau alike. The Bureau of Public undertakings, since its inception, has been making strenuous efforts on its part to prepare a well-diversified information reports, but it miserably failed because the accounting and the audit of all the enterprises, excepting a microscopic minorities, have been lagging far behind than being up to date. To make their account and audit up-to date various efforts have been made by the Bureau, including the efforts under which it succeeded to get letter issued from the Auditor and Comptroller general office of this effect. The Auditor and Comptroller general of India directed them with the assurance that in case of making their audit up-to-date, a sizeable number of auditors would be appointed to expedite the account. Such an attempt on the part of the Bureau of Public Enterprises did bring some improvement but whatever was scored on that front was too below to expectation
