An Analysis Related To Job Stress (With reference to Healthcare Personnel of Prayagraj Region)
Get PDFAny change in work, work pattern and working environment which is perceived as of adversial kind can create stress often called a “Silent Killer”. Stress is perceptual aspect as what is stress to one may not be stress to another due to perceptual differences. When it comes to the stress in healthcare, by nature highly volatile, highly stressful sector due to large level of unprediction in nature of job, job hours, needs of patients, nature of diseases and treatment required, all are quite variable. Rising complexities in the healthcare sector are compounded with surge in the job expectations and role expectations with the healthcare workers, while at the same there is sharp fall in the numbers of workers willing to serve in the sector. All these prompted to conduct a descriptive research study in healthcare sector with aims to identify the causes behind stress among healthcare workers, nature of stress experienced by them and to arrive with viable techniques of stress management for them. The research design is qualitative by nature, based on the analysis of available secondary data as well as survey of healthcare professionals, staff and support system. The tool used for primary data collection is questionnaire circulated among healthcare professionals and staff of the hospitals in Prayagraj. The study revealed the prime sources of stress and impacts on the service providers as well as on the healthcare sector itself. The research study concluded with some result-oriented measurements to decline the level of stress experienced in general by the healthcare workers and professionals

Effect Of Physical Exercise Programme On Object Control Skills In Preschool Children
Get PDFThe purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of physical exercise programme on object control skills in preschool children. Thirty children (3- 5 years old) from Trivandrum district of Kerala were selected randomly and assigned to two groups, an experimental group (n=15) and control group (n=15). Both the groups were tested in Gross Motor Development -2 Ulrich, 2000 before and after twelve weeks of training period. The experimental group underwent physical exercise programme three times a week for twelve weeks. Paired t- test and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) revealed significant improvement in the experimental group in object control skills while no changes were seen in the control group. It may be concluded that physical exercise programme introduced in early childhood can improve object control skills

Get PDFSintered Cd1-xZnxTe films have been prepared in the entire composition range from CdTe to ZnTe by using the screen printing method. To deposit good quality films, optimum conditions have been determined. Wide band gap ternary films have wide applications in solar cells. The band gap of these films is determined by reflection spectra in the wavelength range of 500 nm to 870 nm using the Tauc relation. These films have a direct band gap, which varies from 1.48 eV for CdTe to 2.26 eV for ZnTe films

Even today, in the 21st century Indian patriarchal society, women do not have the same status as men. Everything like reproduction, labor force, sexuality, means of production are under the control of culture. This is why in all these cases woman is left behind in the social position as a man. Considering the social relations between men and women at different levels of social life, it is seen that women do not get equal status with men in all aspects of social life like family, religion, caste and culture. Assessment of Passion among University Volleyball Players
Get PDFAbstractThe purpose of the study was to assess and compare the harmonious passion and obsessive passion among the volleyball players of Himachal Pradesh University and University of Delhi Method: For the purpose of the study the data was collected from the University Volleyball teams of Himachal Pradesh University and University of Delhi by using Passion Scale developed by Vallerand et.al (2003). It consists of fourteen statements. It consists of two sub-scales, namely, harmonious passion and obsessive passion having seven statements each. All items were rated on a 7-point likert scale ranged from 1(strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). Statistical technique: statistical techniques employed were mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The level of significance chosen was 0.05. Result: the result of the study revealed that there was no significant difference in the passion, both harmonious passion and obsessive passion, among the volleyball players of Himachal Pradesh University and University of Delhi
