    This research is an exploratory study to show the relationship between mathematics and culture. This study aims to explore the culture of the traditional activities of the Central Java Rewandha Sesaji tradition which contains mathematical concepts. This research uses ethnographic methods. Data collection techniques use ethnographic principles such as observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes with ethnographic descriptions. The results of the research show that in the traditional activities of the Central Java Rewandha Sesaji tradition there are several mathematical concepts, such as nets and the surface area of ​​a cylinder, the surface area of ​​a cone, the Pythagorean theorem, the area of ​​a circle, the circumference of a circle, parallel lines and quadrilaterals. Several mathematical concepts resulting from the exploration of these traditional traditions can then be used as context in learning to support students\u27 numeracy skills. The results of this research can be used as inspiration for further research to explore other cultural traditions that can be used as a context for realistic mathematics learning that is more fun and meaningful

    Riset ini menginvestigasi solusi untuk menjaga keragaman budaya dan mengurangi ketidaksetaraan sosial di Kota Makassar dalam menghadapi era globalisasi multikulturalisme. Metode gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan dengan memanfaatkan analisis model matematika untuk menganalisis dinamika sosial dan budaya yang kompleks. Metode kualitatif melibatkan studi kasus mendalam, wawancara, dan observasi partisipatif untuk memahami konteks lokal dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap multikulturalisme. Sementara itu, metode kuantitatif melibatkan pengumpulan data statistik dan penerapan model matematika untuk memprediksi dampak dari berbagai intervensi kebijakan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi strategis kepada pemerintah dan pemangku kepentingan untuk meningkatkan toleransi budaya dan mengurangi disparitas sosial di Kota Makassar, serta berkontribusi pada pemahaman teoritis dan praktis tentang multikulturalisme dalam konteks lokal yang berbeda

    Batik is a noble cultural heritage of the Indonesian nation. Ethnomathematics in batik culture has been widely explored by mathematics education researchers. The purpose of this study is to conduct a literature review on ethnomathematics in batik motifs. The research method used is SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Data collection was carried out by exploring articles related to ethnomathematics in traditional houses published in the period 2018 to 2021. The articles used in the study were 5 accredited national articles obtained from Google Scholar using the Publish or Peris application. Based on the results of the literature review study, it was concluded that the results of ethnomathematics studies on batik motifs that have been carried out by Indonesian researchers can be used as realistic mathematics learning materials that effectively improve students\u27 mathematics abilities in learning

    Based on research conducted at SMA Negeri 15 Bone, it shows that the mathematical reasoning abilities of students at this school are in the low category because the mathematics learning process is still dominated by teachers, which results in most students tending to accept whatever is said by the teacher, being silent and unwilling to express it. questions or opinions. This research is an experimental research with a Quasy Experimental Design research design in the form of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design which aims to find out the comparison between the GO CAR (Guided, Orientation, Challenge, Analysis, and Review) learning model and the GOLD (Guided, Organizing, Leafted) learning model. , Discovery) towards increasing students\u27 mathematical reasoning abilities. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 15 Bone. Samples were taken using a Non Random Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling type. Samples were taken from two classes, namely XI MIPA 6 as experimental class 1 and class and the GOLD (Guided, Organizing, Leafted, Discovery) learning model for improving students\u27 mathematical reasoning abilities. This can be seen from the data resulting from the hypothesis using the Mann-Whitney test, with a significance value of 0.419 > 0.05, so H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that in this research there is no comparison between the GO CAR (Guided, Orientation, Challenge, Analysis, and Review) learning model and the GOLD (Guided, Organizing, Leafted, Discovery) learning model in improving students\u27 mathematical reasoning abilities at SMA Negeri 15 Bone

    Inflation is a general and continuous tendency to increase the price of goods. Factors causing inflation include increases in fuel prices and money supply. The general impact of inflation is a decrease in domestic investment, an increase in interest rates, encouraging investment through speculation, failure to develop, economic instability, a balance of payments deficit, and lowering the standard of living and welfare of the community.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of fuel prices and the amount of money in circulation on inflation in the city of Medan. The model used is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ADL) Model. If the variables in the ADL model, both the dependent variable and the independent variable have a unit root, usually performed stasionary test. The ADL model as-sumes stationary data even if the dependent and independent variables are nei-ther stationary or cointegrated. The test results indicate that there is no cointe-gration between the variables, and the model produced indicates that the varia-bles affecting the price of fuel and the availability of money have a considerable impact on inflation, with a coefficient of determination of 71,4% and a MAPE value of 15,64%, making it suitable for making predictions

    This research aims to describe students\u27 mathematics learning activities in terms of self-confidence at UPT SPF SMPN 26 Makassar. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this research were students in class VIII 2. Data collection techniques in this research were through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The research instrument consists of the researcher himself, questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) Students with low self-confidence have sufficient learning activities, this is because subjects with low self-confidence do not have a selfish nature by respecting friends\u27 opinions; (2) Students with moderate self-confidence have good category learning activities, but sometimes feel lazy and embarrassed; (3) Students with high self-confidence have learning activities in the very good category, this is because subjects with high self-confidence are confident in their abilities, are responsible for their duties, dare to express opinions, have good development with an independent attitude and respect other people\u27s opinions

    Minat belajar siswa menjadi salah satu alasan siswa dapat memahami pembelajaran matematika, dengan adanya minat belajar siswa akan mudah memahami pelajaran tersebut. Untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, perlu menerapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa dalam penerapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen non tes berupa angket dengan 25 pernyataan positif dan negatif yang diberikan pada subjek penelitian berjumlah 33 orang siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Karawang. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa dengan persentase 67,36% memiliki minat belajar terhadap pembelajaran dengan model PMRI. Indikator minat belajar dengan persentase tertinggi ada pada indikator 2 yakni menunjukkan perhatian saat belajar. Dengan begitu, pembelajaran dengan model PMRI di rasa cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.&nbsp

    Efektivitas Pendekatan Open-Ended dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di SMP: Studi Kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan open-ended dalam pembelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara dilihat dari hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Galesong Utara, dengan satu kelas yang terdiri dari 31 siswa dipilih secara acak sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebelum penerapan pendekatan open-ended adalah 34,81 dengan standar deviasi 6,32 (kategori sangat rendah); (2) rata-rata hasil belajar setelah penerapan adalah 76,32 dengan standar deviasi 14,74 (kategori sedang); (3) ketuntasan klasikal setelah penerapan mencapai 70,96%; dan (4) rata-rata gain ternormalisasi adalah 0,63 (kategori sedang). Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan pendekatan open-ended lebih dari 68 (KKM); (2) rata-rata gain ternormalisasi lebih dari 0,3 (kategori sedang); dan (3) ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal setelah penerapan pendekatan open-ended kurang dari 80%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif dan inferensial, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan open-ended efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika berdasarkan KKM dan gain ternormalisasi, namun tidak efektif jika dilihat dari ketuntasan klasikal
