Religiosité Chrétienne Et Durabilité Agricole : Une Analyse Corrélationnelle Des Pratiques Paysannes – Cas De Mahereza Madagascar

    Get PDF

Indonesia has an ambitious goal to achieve the status of a developed country by 2045, known as "Golden Indonesia 2045." This achievement heavily relies on an inclusive and sustainable economic transformation, including the development of a people's economy. A people's economy is oriented towards empowering grassroots communities and aims to strengthen the well-being of the populace. This research aims to identify the potential and challenges faced by Indonesia in realizing a people's economy as part of the Golden Indonesia 2045 goal. The study uses a literature review method to analyze various relevant references on the concept of a people's economy, Indonesia's resource potential, and existing challenges. The analysis results indicate that although Indonesia has significant potential in the agriculture sector, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and natural resources, there are structural challenges such as economic inequality, uneven infrastructure, and dependence on the primary sector that need to be addressed to ensure the achievement of inclusive and sustainable economic development by 2045. This research suggests policies that support economic equity, increase access to technology and education, and promote even infrastructure development. Keywords: Golden Indonesia 2045, Economic Potential, Economic Challenges, People's Econom

Trapped but Aware: Understanding Locked-In Syndrome and Its Treatments

    Get PDF
Locked-In Syndrome (LIS) is a rare neurological disorder with quadriplegia and anarthria accompanied by the preservation of cognitive function and vertical eye movement. It results from injury to the ventral pons, most commonly by stroke, trauma, or demyelinating disease. LIS is very challenging to diagnose, and advanced neuroimaging techniques like fMRI, EEG, and CT scanning are required to differentiate it from coma and vegetative states. The quality of life is relatively good for most LIS patients, especially with regard to the availability of assistive communication devices and psychological counseling, despite the motor disabilities being catastrophic. The management of LIS also includes neurorehabilitation, which consists of physical therapy aimed at avoiding complications such as muscle atrophy and deep venous thrombosis, combined with mental fortitude, communication, and cognitive enhancement therapies. Emerging technologies, including brain-computer interfaces and neural implants, show immense potential for boosting autonomy. Ethical considerations involving patient autonomy and end-of-life decisions are still complex, with the majority of LIS patients initially expressing a wish for hastened death but later accepting their situation. Advances in neuroimaging, electrophysiology, assistive technologies, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation have significantly improved the outcomes of LIS patients. Societal myths and ethical issues continue to impact clinical care. Individualized rehabilitation strategies and further incorporation of neuroprosthetic solutions are areas where future research must be focused to encourage patient independence and quality of life. Keywords: Locked-in Syndrome, quadriplegia, neuroimaging, electrophysiology, brain-computer interface, quality of life, neurorehabilitation, patient autonomy, assistive technology, ethical considerations

Identification of Upweling in the Transition Season as a Basis for Estimating Potential Areas for Fishing mackerel in West Sumatra

    Get PDF
The upwelling phenomenon can be utilized in determining potential fishing grounds, which can be identified through oceanographic phenomena such as sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a, and ocean currents. This study aims to analyze the occurrence of upwelling as a basis for estimating potential macarel fishing grounds in the waters of West Sumatra. The results indicate variability in sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a concentration, and currents, fluctuating between 2nd Transitional Season and 1st Transitional Season, with upwelling identified as low to very low. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a, and currents significantly influence macarel catch rates, with a strong correlation between sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a in relation to potential fishing areas. In conclusion, upwelling in the waters of West Sumatra is influenced by the variability of these oceanographic parameters, and a strong relationship exists between sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a with the potential for macarel fishing

    Get PDF
In the dynamic geopolitical landscape of Southeast Asia, the relationship between ASEAN and China has emerged as a pivotal strategic partnership. This paper analyzes how ASEAN manages the asymmetric interdependence stemming from disparities in economic and political power, addressing the central research question: How can ASEAN effectively navigate this relationship through regional institutions? This topic is significant as it reveals the diplomatic strategies ASEAN employs in the face of uneven power dynamics. The study examines key mechanisms, such as ASEAN+3, the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which have been underexplored in addressing asymmetric interdependence. Using a qualitative research approach grounded in liberal institutionalism theory, the analysis is based on secondary data from policy documents and relevant literature.mFindings indicate that these institutions are vital in establishing norms and frameworks that enhance interaction between ASEAN and China while minimizing conflict risks. Additionally, ASEAN's use of soft power diplomacy is discussed in shaping China's regional behavior, emphasizing principles such as ASEAN centrality and peaceful dispute resolution.nThe conclusion highlights that strengthening regional institutions enables ASEAN to better manage its relationship with China despite asymmetric interdependence. This research illustrates that diplomatic strategies and multilateral cooperation are essential for promoting stability and collaboration in Southeast Asia

Foresterie Urbaine : Etat Des Connaissances Et Perspectives De Recherche En Afrique

    Get PDF
