Authentication Using Voice Recognition and Timestamp OTP
This work is related to providing security using authentication. By looking into other research works, we have found many attacks while logging in a system like phishing attack, brute force attack, etc. We came up with a solution which uses voice biometric as a recognition technique and also adding a time stamp one-time password (TOTP) which will help in providing a better authentication during login. Voice recognition technique uses a Bark frequency scale mapped with the input voice signal and made into spectral analysis with cepstral coefficients which is tough to forge, and adding this with TOTP provides stronger security in today’s Internet of Things (IOT)
Increasing High School Student Interest in Science: An Action Research Study
An action research study was conducted to determine how to increase student interest in learning science and pursuing a STEM career. The study began by exploring 10th-grade student and teacher perceptions of student interest in science in order to design an instructional strategy for stimulating student interest in learning and pursuing science. Data for this study included responses from 270 students to an on-line science survey and interviews with 11 students and eight science teachers. The action research intervention included two iterations of the STEM Career Project. The first iteration introduced four chemistry classes to the intervention. The researcher used student reflections and a post-project survey to determine if the intervention had influence on the students’ interest in pursuing science. The second iteration was completed by three science teachers who had implemented the intervention with their chemistry classes, using student reflections and post-project surveys, as a way to make further procedural refinements and improvements to the intervention and measures. Findings from the exploratory phase of the study suggested students generally had interest in learning science but increasing that interest required including personally relevant applications and laboratory experiences. The intervention included a student-directed learning module in which students investigated three STEM careers and presented information on one of their chosen careers. The STEM Career Project enabled students to explore career possibilities in order to increase their awareness of STEM careers. Findings from the first iteration of the intervention suggested a positive influence on student interest in learning and pursuing science. The second iteration included modifications to the intervention resulting in support for the findings of the first iteration. Results of the second iteration provided modifications that would allow the project to be used for different academic levels. Insights from conducting the action research study provided the researcher with effective ways to make positive changes in her own teaching praxis and the tools used to improve student awareness of STEM career options

CMOS Technology in Sensing Fields
The role of CMOS Image Sensors since their birth around the 1960s has been changing a lot. Unlike the past, current CMOS Image Sensors are becoming competitive with regard to Charged Couple Device (CCD) technology. They offer many advantages with respect to CCD, such as lower power consumption, lower voltage operation, on-chip functionality and lower cost. Nevertheless, they are still too noisy and less sensitive than CCDs. Noise and sensitivity are the key-factors to compete with industrial and scientific CCDs. It must be pointed out also that there are several kinds of CMOS Image sensors, each of them to satisfy the huge demand in different areas, such as Digital photography, industrial vision, medical and space applications, electrostatic sensing, automotive, instrumentation and 3D vision systems. In the wake of that, a lot of research has been carried out, focusing on problems to be solved such as sensitivity, noise, power consumption, voltage operation, speed imaging and dynamic range. In this paper, CMOS Image Sensors are reviewed, providing information on the latest advances achieved, their applications, the new challenges and their limitations
Analysis of Emergent Electronic Properties of Self-Assembling Nucleopeptides
Biomolecular structures are held together by a complex network of molecular interactions that direct assembly and stabilize structures. In order to translate the fundamental molecular interactions of biomolecules into the design of functional biomaterials, we have developed a model system that integrates nucleic acids and self- assembling peptides. These nucleopeptides serve as a small-model system for the study of the non-covalent molecular interactions involved in biomolecule self-assembly. We have scaled up and expanded the analysis of our original nucleopeptide library in order to further characterize these assembled structures. Infrared (IR) spectroscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) were utilized to characterize the assembly structure and image the supramolecular morphology of the nucleopeptides. The emergent electronic properties of the nucleopeptide assemblies were analyzed by Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Collectively, these studies on nucleopeptide supramolecular structure assembly will contribute to the design of functional biomaterials with the potential to conduct and store electrical charge

Anecdotal feedback was collected from employees within an affluent Connecticut school district where there are two main classes of employees – certified and non-certified. The classes are further differentiated by substantial differences in pay structures, in union representation, and in subsequent collective bargaining agreements

Mechanical Properties of Novel Bionanocomposites
In the present communication, a study on the synthesis and mechanical properties of a new series of green natural resins based bionanocomposites consisting of acacia, almond, neem and drumstick as resins with nano silica and nanosized calcium oxide as reinforcing fillers has been reported. Mechanical properties such as tensile, shear, adhesive and wear properties were investigated. Present work reveals that mechanical properties such as tensile strength, water resistance and wear resistance of bionanocomposites increases to considerable extent when reinforced with Nano powders of calcium oxide and silicon dioxide. These results are compared with the epoxy resin based nanocomposites. The bionanocomposites have potential to have widespread bioengineering applications
