Secure Wireless Infrastructure Network Using Access Point Checking
Developments in computers, communication and networks has opened up the doors for wireless network evolution which enjoys attractive features such as dynamic communication and the ease of members to join the network. Improvements in wireless technology has increased the needed for more complicated security systems, where data security and protection represent main wireless networks features. In distributed systems, the use of networks and standard communication protocols facilitate data transmission between a terminal user and a computer - and between a computer and another computer. Network security measures the need to protect data during transmission. Clearly, wireless networks are less secure compared to wired networks. So, the most important question here is how to protect data transmission in wireless networks. In this work, we briefly glance at network classes and existing security mechanisms. We then propose our new access point checking algorithm to increase security over infrastructure wireless networks. The goal is to save the time consumed during message travel from one host to another in the network, while maintaining message security. We employ a checksum mechanism to enhance message integrity. In addition, access point (AP) will check the message and decide whether the message should be sent back to the original sender or not. Experimental results for different networking scenarios are provided to validate the system ability. Our technique outperforms traditional security mechanisms in terms of timing characteristics

Cloud Computing: The Future of IT Industry
As a result of the research processing in the computing field, a new computing model appeared based on the development of many computing models such as parallel computing, distributed computing, and grid computing. Many normal distributed computers collaborate of achieve a function like a super computer. The computation will be assigned to this super computer rather than local computer or remote server. This is the basic concept of cloud computing. However, there is a new implementation of cloud computing was introduced based on using the internet millions of computers connected to a super cloud. Cloud computing has several advantages such as; user does not need to worry about how the cloud runs, viruses, maintenance, etc. We would expect that cloud computing is going to reshape the IT industry. In this paper we discuss cloud computing from different angles such as concept, characteristics and classifications of cloud computing
Input Impedance, VSWR and Return Loss of a Conformal Microstrip Printed Antenna for TM01 Mode Using Two Different Substrates
Curvature has a great effect on fringing field of a microstrip antenna and consequently fringing field affects effective dielectric constant and then all antenna parameters. A new mathematical model for input impedance, return loss and voltage standing wave ratio is introduced in this paper. These parameters are given for TM01 mode and using two dif-ferent substrate materials K-6098 Teflon/Glass and Epsilam-10 Ceramic-Filled Teflon materials.https://doi.org/10.5923/j.ijnc.20120202.0

2D atomically thin graphene nanoribbons - DNA self-assembled piezo structures for energy harvesting
Graphene[1], widely known as single layered graphite, has generated lot of interests as generation next electronic material since its practical existence as free standing film. Its structural flexibility provides an opportunity to tune its electronic properties from being semimetal to semiconductor [2,3] for the fabrication of nanoscale devices[4]. Graphene nanoribbons (GNR) are defined as stretched graphene with straight edges and they transform from semiconductor to semimetal as the width of the ribbon changes and hence offer a variety of graphene. While there have been increasing interest in elucidating graphene nano-scale structures the development of a reproducible nanostructured assembly of graphene (nanoribbon) and DNA that could potentially lead to controllable and manipulative nano-scale mechanical devices have been very less explored. Recently Razdan, Patra and co-workers[5] have developed self assembled carbon nanotube-conducting polymer fibers. Also Sinha and members of his research group have a provisional patent and a pending patent application on a biosensor whose principle is based on the Carbon Nanotube (CNT)/DNA interaction. We will build on from the understanding on the previous work to establish a reproducible graphene- DNA nanostructured assembly that may consequently help develop graphene-DNA based biodevices. We plan to understand the attachment of graphene with single-stranded DNA by a self-assembly process under strong ultrasonication and in the resulting water-dispersible graphene-DNA hybrids. We intend to achieve monolayers of ss-DNA molecules adsorbed on both sides of the graphene sheets by a non-covalent stacking and other secondary forces that will eventually lead to development of graphene-DNA based devices in the long run
Higher Education in China: Tertiary Education in State Development
The People's Republic of China experienced rapid growth over the past quarter century; with this new economic power come the challenges to sustain it. Over the course of time, state development must tackle specific issues to progress into the future. Thus, under the pretext of continued development, what is the state of China's Higher Education system
Discovery of Malicious Attacks to Improve Mobile Collaborative Learning (MCL)
Mobile collaborative learning (MCL) is highly acknowledged and focusing paradigm in eductional institutions and several organizations across the world. It exhibits intellectual synergy of various combined minds to handle the problem and stimulate the social activity of mutual understanding. To improve and foster the baseline of MCL, several supporting architectures, frameworks including number of the mobile applications have been introduced. Limited research was reported that particularly focuses to enhance the security of those pardigms and provide secure MCL to users. The paper handles the issue of rogue DHCP server that affects and disrupts the network resources during the MCL. The rogue DHCP is unauthorized server that releases the incorrect IP address to users and sniffs the traffic illegally. The contribution specially provides the privacy to users and enhances the security aspects of mobile supported collaborative framework (MSCF). The paper introduces multi-frame signature-cum anomaly-based intrusion detection systems (MSAIDS) supported with novel algorithms through addition of new rules in IDS and mathematcal model. The major target of contribution is to detect the malicious attacks and blocks the illegal activities of rogue DHCP server. This innovative security mechanism reinforces the confidence of users, protects network from illicit intervention and restore the privacy of users. Finally, the paper validates the idea through simulation and compares the findings with other existing techniques
