    Teaching mathematics should be communicated properly to students, so they can understand the whole concept, especially teaching in primary school. Nowadays, some teachers teaching mathematics just to make students memorize the concepts, not understand the whole concepts. This may cause when they were still become students to learn in university, they didn’t understand mathematics well enough. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explain how well mathematical communication ability of prospective primary school teachers. To do so, we used qualitative descriptive approach using mathematical communication test to collect data from a group of prospective elementary school teachers. Data were analyzed by categorizing each indicator to identify factors that affect their mathematical communication ability. The results shows that mathematical communication ability of prospective primary school teachers is still in moderate category and tends to be in low category. An overview of each factor based on mathematical communication ability indicators will be shown in this research. These findings emphasize the need for improving prospective primary school teachers’ mathematical communication ability to make their preparation more thorough before carrying out teaching.

    Noni fruit is one of the fruits that is looked down upon by the general public. Many noni fruit plants are allowed to grow wild, unkempt and noni fruit is also left to fall on plantations, yards and roadsides. In fact, noni fruit has extraordinary benefits such as curing stomach acid, cholesterol, high blood pressure (hypertension), gout, ulcers, cancer tumors and increasing stamina. This potential is not wasted by the target partner (UKM Wasiah Herbal) to process noni fruit into high-quality noni coffee powder. Various problems arise in the production process caused by very limited resources and capital. The assistance from the government through the manufacture of oven machines and roasting machines is able to simplify the production process very effectively. By using oven machines and roasting machines, UKM Wasiah Herbal produces noni coffee powder that has a high selling value. Both machines are able to cut long times and high costs, especially in the drying and roasting processes that previously used solar power and traditional tools. Both machines have also been tested before being handed over to the target partner. The trial results show that the effectiveness of the noni coffee production process is very fast, efficient and produces very satisfactory production for partners

    The purpose of this community service is to increase the competence of observers towards the transformation of education in non-formal education units in Sukabumi Regency. The lack of optimal observers in carrying out the main tasks of quality control of the PAUD and Dikmas programs, limited time to obtain opportunities to improve competence, limitations in the types of training for observer functional positions that can reach the dimension of space and time as well as the variety of profiles and characteristics of observers are some of the problems that exist in observers. Specifically, this service aims to: 1) describe the planning of training activities for observer functional positions towards educational transformation in non-formal education units in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, 2) describe the implementation of training activities for observer functional positions towards educational transformation in non-formal education units in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, and 3) describe the evaluation of training activities for observer functional positions towards transformation education in non-formal education units in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The results of the service show that the training activities begin with the planning stage by conducting an analysis of the identification of training activities, including the tools that must be prepared in the training activities, namely preparation, human resources, such as participants, resource persons, and other parties involved, infrastructure, guidelines for the implementation of training in planning training activities for observer functional positions towards educational transformation in non-formal education units in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The implementation stage of training activities is the implementation of the plan that has been prepared related to the training implementation model, approaches, strategies, methods, techniques and media used in the activity, as well as the time and place of the training. The evaluation stage is a stage to find out the extent of success in activities at the planning and implementation stage of the training activities, including reflecting on activities, distributing evaluation instruments and processing the results of the evaluation.   Keywords: Training, Learners, Competencies and Non-Formal Education Unit

    Pada konteks globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi kebutuhan akan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dengan tuntutan zaman semakin mendesak. Guru bahasa Indonesia sebagai agen pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan siswa memiliki keterampilan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pelatihan intensif yang fokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar digital yang berpusat pada pembelajaran abad ke-21 mencakup berbagai aspek seperti kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap sekelompok guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan guru dalam penyusunan bahan ajar digital serta dampaknya terhadap pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kualitas bahan ajar digital yang berorientasi pembelajaran abad-21 bagi guru bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dengan konteks zaman

    Academic procrastination is a negative thing that must be avoided, especially by students. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of group guidance services that employ self-management ways to reduce academic procrastination in junior high school students. This study employs mixed methods, using an explanatory sequential research design. The subjects in this research were 8 experimental group students and 8 control group students who had high academic procrastination. The results of the research show that the comparison between the pretest and posttest questionnaires shows that there is a decrease in academic procrastination. These results can be proven in the independent sample test, that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, This indicates that Ho is rejected but Ha is accepted. Thus, group guiding services paired with self-management abilities might help reduce academic procrastination

    PENGARUH LAYANAN KLASIKAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN BULLYING SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 2 INDRALAYA UTARA

    Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya untuk mengkaji sampai sejauh mana layanan bimbingan klasikal mampu meningkatkan seberapa jauh pemahaman siswa terhadap perilaku bullying pada siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan desain pra-eksperimental berupa one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen berupa skala pemahaman mengenai bullying, dan kemudian dianalisis dengan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata siswa dari 116,10 pada saat pretest menjadi 132,95 pada saat posttest. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik paired sample t-test, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, yang berada di bawah batas signifikansi 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemahaman siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan klasikal memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa terkait bullying di lingkungan SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara

    GAMBARAN KESEJAHTERAAN DIGITAL SISWA DI SEKOLAH INDONESIA JEDDAH TINGKAT SMA

    This study aims to describe the level of digital well-being among high school students at the Indonesian School in Jeddah. The study is driven by the high duration of digital device usage among students, influenced by geographical, socioeconomic factors, and lack of parental supervision. A descriptive quantitative approach was used with 54 respondents from grades X and XI. The instrument employed was a digital well-being questionnaire, validated and tested for reliability, covering five core dimensions. Results showed that 43% of students had high digital well-being, 34% moderate, and 23% low. The social interaction aspect scored the highest, while digital safety and self-control require more attention. This study highlights the need for counseling services and digital literacy education in schools to promote healthy and balanced digital habits. The findings can serve as a foundation for policy formulation and school-based interventions to foster a positive digital culture among students

    An Analysis of Deixis in Lewis Capaldi “Someone You Loved” Song Lyrics

    Deixis is one of pragmatic branch that study about the meaning of pointing something in the language. The research is aim to find out kind of deixis found in “Someone You Loved” song lyrics and to investigate the dominant deixis used in the song lyrics. The researcher choose this song because this song is easy listening and got a positive rating from the listener. Descriptive qualitative research was used to analyze the song. The result of this research showed, types of deixis founded in Lewis Capaldi’s songs of “Someone You Loved”, the deixis are: personal deixis, temporal deixis, and spatial deixis. Deixis was founded in Lewis Capaldi’s songs, which proved that deixis founded in the song lyric were 69 personal deixis, 6 spatial deixis and 12 temporal deixis with the dominant types of deixis was personal deixis with 73% frequency percentage in the song lyric. Thus, the most used deixis that used in Lewis Capaldi’s songs was personal deixis by 79%

    POLA PENGASUHAN DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KEPRIBADIAN SISWA DIKTUK BINTARA POLRI DI SPN POLDA JAWA BARAT

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari pola pengasuhan dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri di SPN Polda Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SPN Polda Jawa Barat dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 40 orang informan, yang terdiri dari 2 orang pengasuh dan 38 orang siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri. Partisipan dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan urgensi informasi dan posisi informan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pertanyaan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yang mencakup transkip hasil wawancara, reduksi data, analisis, interpretasi data, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan serangkaian kegiatan, yaitu pemilihan pengasuh dan pelaksanaan sertifikasi pengasuh, pelatihan peningkatan kualitas pengasuh, mempersiapkan sarana prasarana yang menunjang kegiatan pendidikan, serta membuat rencana kegiatan pola pengasuhan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan para pengasuh melaksanakan rencana kegiatan pola pengasuhan dengan memberikan perintah, reward, dan punishment pada siswa guna mengubah karakter siswa dari civil society menjadi civillian police dan menumbuhkan kesadaran pada siswa untuk senantiasa berperilaku baik. Selain itu, para pengasuh pun harus memberikan contoh dan menjadi teladan selaku insan bhayangkara, mengawasi pelaksanaan kegiatan siswa, serta mengevaluasi kegiatan pola pengasuhan dan peran pengasuh. Untuk hasil dari pola pengasuhan yang dilakukan oleh para pengasuh memberikan perubahan yang lebih baik pada kepribadian siswa dilihat dari aspek nilai akademik, mental kepribadian, dan kesehatan jasmani siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pola pengasuhan dalam pembentukan kepribadian siswa Diktuk Bintara Polri di SPN Polda Jawa Barat telah sesuai dengan tujuan pengasuhan yang tercantum dalam Keputusan Kepala Lembaga Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Polri Nomor Kep/431/VII/DIK.1.1/2019 tentang Pedoman Pengasuhan, Pengenalan Lingkungan, dan Pembinaan Tradisi Peserta Pendidikan Pembentukan Polri

    Pelatihan Kewirausahaan Berbasis Digital Untuk Pemberdayaan Pemuda Di Karang taruna Desa Margasari Kabupaten Karawang. Bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses, faktor pendukung, faktor penghambat pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis digital pada Karang Taruna desa Margasari Kabupaten Karawang. Menurut Sudjana (2007) dilihat dari titik berat orientasi programnya, pelatihan dapat dibagi menjadi tiga kategori. “Pertama, pelatihan yang berorientasi kepada kepentingan lembaga penyelenggara pelatihan. Kedua, pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dengan orientasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang akan menjadi layanan suatu lembaga. Ketiga, pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dengan berorientasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan individu, lembaga atau komunitas tertentu”. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek  penelitian seorang ketua lembaga, instruktur, dan peserta pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis digital yang diselenggarakan oleh Karang Taruna desa Margasari kabupaten Karawang. Analisa penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu mengenai proses pelaksanaan pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis digital untuk pemberdayaan pemuda di Karang Taruna desa Margasari, faktor pendukung peserta mengikuti pelatihan kewirausahaan, faktor penghambat pelaksanaan dan peserta pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis digital, serta hasil pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis digital
