    PERAN GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DALAM MENCEGAH PERILAKU BULLYING DI SEKOLAH

    This study aims to analyze the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers in preventing bullying in schools through a literature review approach. The review was conducted using various scholarly sources published between 2015 and 2025, including journals, books, and relevant research reports. The findings indicate that Guidance and Counseling teachers play a strategic role in three main dimensions: preventive, curative, and collaborative. In the preventive aspect, Guidance and Counseling teachers help raise students’ awareness of the negative impacts of bullying through guidance services, counseling sessions, and character-strengthening programs. In the curative aspect, Guidance and Counseling teachers provide individual and group counseling services to assist both victims and perpetrators in their psychological recovery and behavioral change processes. Meanwhile, in the collaborative aspect, Guidance and Counseling teachers work together with subject teachers, homeroom teachers, principals, and parents to create a safe and inclusive school environment. The study concludes that the effectiveness of Guidance and Counseling teachers’ roles is strongly influenced by professional competence, school policy support, and the involvement of the entire school community. Therefore, Guidance and Counseling teachers serve as key agents of change in fostering a school culture free from violence and in promoting students’ positive character development

    The Correlation among Grammar Mastery, Translation Ability, and Reading Skill at SMA NWDI Pringgabaya

    This research investigates the relationship between grammar mastery, translation skills, and reading comprehension among eleventh graders at NWDI Pringgabaya High School. Employing a quantitative correlational design, the study involved 15 purposively selected participants. Data were obtained through three assessment instruments: a grammar test, a translation test, and a reading comprehension test. Findings revealed a significant positive correlation between grammar mastery and translation skills (r = 0.711, p = 0.003). However, no significant relationship was observed between grammar mastery and reading comprehension (r = 0.251, p = 0.368) or between translation skills and reading comprehension (r = 0.144, p = 0.607). These results suggest that while grammar mastery substantially influences translation ability, neither appears to significantly impact students’ reading comprehension

    The Use of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Teaching Speaking to the Seventh-Grade Students at Mts NWDI Pangsor Gunung

    This study aims to explore the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in speaking classes and to examine its effectiveness in improving the speaking skills of seventh-grade students at MTs NWDI Pangsor Gunung. A pre-experimental design and a quantitative approach have been used in the present research. The sample consisted of 18 seventh-grade students who participated in PBL lessons. Pre- and post-test speaking assessments were used to gather information on speaking abilities. The average score on the preliminary test was 55.38, and the average score on the post-test was 66.88. After PBL was implemented, students' speaking abilities significantly improved, as indicated by the paired sample t-test's significance score (p-value) of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem-Based Learning has a positive and significant effect on improving the speaking skills of seventh-grade students at MTs NWDI PangsorGunung. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers use PBL as an effective speaking learning method at the junior high school level

    Exploring Junior High School Students’ Experiences in Multimodal Task-Based Language Learning: English

    This study investigates how junior high school students engage with digital multimodal composing (DMC) tasks through a task-based language teaching (TBLT) framework in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context. Conducted as a qualitative case study, the research involved classroom observations, interviews, and analysis of students’ digital poster projects. The findings reveal that students approached the multimodal tasks through collaborative planning, negotiation of design, and creative problem-solving using digital tools. While linguistic and technical challenges occasionally hindered their progress, students displayed increasing autonomy, digital awareness, and confidence in expressing ideas through multimodal texts. These results suggest that integrating DMC into TBLT not only strengthens students’ writing competence but also cultivates meaningful participation in digital literacy practices. The study provides insights into how task-based multimodal projects can bridge language learning and digital communication for young EFL learners

    English Day as a Medium for Introducing Contextual Vocabulary: Teacher Perspective at SMPN 19 Surabaya

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of the English Day program at SMPN 19 Surabaya as a medium for introducing English vocabulary in context. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews with one English teacher directly involved in this program. The results show that the English Day program is conducted regularly from Tuesday to Thursday and contributes positively to the development of students’ English language skills, especially in terms of vocabulary mastery and speaking skills. Teacher observed that students became more confident when the material presented was relevant to their daily lives. However, obstacles encountered included low students’ participation, lack of motivation, and limited confidence. To optimize this program, teachers suggested increasing the frequency and variety of activities, rewarding students who play an active role, and involving students in planning the English Day program so that it can develop well and become a sustainable school culture. This study also provides input for schools and teachers in the process of optimizing contextual English language learning program. The findings of this study also state that contextual and student-centered learning activities are very important to support the teaching of learning, especially vocabulary

    Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy is one of the non formal educational institutions dedicated to students and has instilled Islamic values, discipline, and leadership in every learning process. The purpose of this research is to describe the branding image strategy  applied at Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy, identify the factors that affect the formation of the institution's image in the community, Analyze The Influence of Branding Image on the Level of Public Trust. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The results of the study are that the branding image of the pondok appears in four main dimensions: (1) value branding, through the cultivation of sincerity, discipline, simplicity, and leadership; (2) visual and symbolic identity, through sharia uniforms, institutional attributes, and religious spatial planning; (3) flagship programs as core products, such as tahfidz, the yellow book, foreign language habituation, and leadership coaching; and (4)  relational branding, through active involvement in the socio religious activities of the community. Optimizing the branding image of Pondok Putri Ridwan Anwarul Halimy contributes significantly to building and maintaining public trust, as well as becoming a relevant image management model for other Islamic based non formal educational institutions

    Anak jalanan sering menghadapi hambatan dalam mengakses pendidikan formal, sehingga kemampuan akademik dasar seperti membaca, menulis, dan berhitung cenderung rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas program pendidikan nonformal berbasis komunitas dalam meningkatkan kemampuan akademik dasar anak jalanan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mix method dengan desain one group pre-test post-test yang melibatkan 20 anak sebagai peserta. Data kualitatif diambil melalui proses wawancara dan observasi, sementara data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan akademik dasar. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan akademik setelah anak mengikuti program, yang terlihat dari perubahan skor pre-test dan post-test serta penguatan motivasi dan partisipasi belajar. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa program pendidikan berbasis komunitas mampu menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang adaptif bagi kelompok rentan dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut oleh lembaga sosial maupun organisasi nonpemerintah untuk memperluas akses pendidikan bagi anak jalanan

    Mental health services in Indonesia face challenges related to accessibility, the availability of professional personnel, and the unequal distribution of facilities. These service disparities have become increasingly evident, as individuals with mental disorders (IMDs) often receive the least attention or are even neglected. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of services for individuals with mental disorders at the Bina Laras Mutmainnah Social Service Center, Central Lombok. This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through a closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 20 statements based on six indicators: service quality, service satisfaction, service outcomes, improvement of social functioning, improvement of quality of life, and reduction of mental disorder symptoms. The results indicate that the effectiveness of social services for individuals with mental disorders at PPSBL Mutmainnah is categorized as very effective, with an overall achievement of 86.95% of the ideal total score. The highest score was obtained in the service satisfaction indicator (91.50%), while the lowest score was found in the service outcomes indicator (80.80%). Nevertheless, all indicators remained within the effective category. This study presents novelty through the use of six integrated indicators and the direct involvement of service beneficiaries as the main respondents, resulting in findings that are more authentic and contextually grounded.   Pelayanan kesehatan jiwa di Indonesia menghadapi kendala dari segi aksesibilitas, ketersediaan tenaga profesional, serta fasilitas yang belum merata. Ketimpangan layanan ini menjadi semakin nyata dimana ODGJ sering kali mendapatkan perhatian terakhir atau bahkan diabaikan. Tjuan penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui Efektivitas Layanan Orang dengan Gangguan Jiwa di Pusat Pelayanan Sosial Bina Laras Mutmainnah Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup skala Likert yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan berdasarkan enam indikator: kualitas layanan, kepuasan layanan, hasil layanan, peningkatan fungsi sosial, peningkatan kualitas hidup, dan pengurangan gejala gangguan jiwa. Hasil penelitiannya adalah Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas layanan sosial bagi ODGJ di PPSBL Mutmainnah tergolong sangat efektif dengan capaian keseluruhan sebesar 86,95% dari total skor ideal. Indikator dengan nilai tertinggi adalah kepuasan layanan (91,50%), sedangkan nilai terendah terdapat pada indikator hasil layanan (80,80%), namun seluruh indikator tetap berada dalam kategori efektif. Penelitian ini menghadirkan kebaruan melalui penggunaan enam indikator terintegrasi serta keterlibatan langsung penerima manfaat sebagai responden utama, sehingga menghasilkan temuan yang lebih autentik dan kontekstual

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan informasi mengenai etnoparenting di kalangan komunitas Melayu di daerah transmigrasi Bukit Payung, Kabupaten Kampar, dengan fokus pada pengaruh multikulturalisme terhadap pola asuh. Metode kuantitatif diterapkan dengan analisis data frekuensi menggunakan SPSS untuk memahami tren dan pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan oleh orang tua di daerah tersebut. Responden terdiri dari orang tua dengan latar belakang etnis yang beragam, termasuk Melayu dan Jawa. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya Melayu, terutama dalam aspek agama dan moralitas; namun, dalam konteks multikultural, pengasuhan menjadi lebih adaptif. Pengaruh lingkungan sosial yang beragam lebih signifikan daripada pengaruh langsung orang tua dalam membentuk identitas budaya seorang anak. Faktor pendukung utama dalam pelaksanaan etnoparenting adalah kesadaran akan pentingnya nilai-nilai budaya, sementara hambatan utama adalah kurangnya informasi tentang cara melestarikan nilai-nilai ini di tengah modernitas. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada literatur tentang etnoparenting di lingkungan multikultural dan memberikan panduan praktis untuk pengasuhan di daerah transmigrasi. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk menyelidiki dinamika pengasuhan dalam konteks serupa dengan lebih mendalam

    Pendidikan di sekolah dasar bukan hanya sebatas tempat yang bertujuan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan transfer ilmu, lebih dari itu sekolah juga merupakan tempat untuk pembentukan karakter seorang peserta didik. Di dalam ranah pendidikan, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dimiliki adalah alat pendidikan. Alat pendidikan meliputi beberapa aspek salah satunya ganjaran dan hukuman yang bertujuan untuk menguatkan sikap dan karakter tertentu peserta didik selama pembelajaran berlangsung, dalam hal ini konteks yang diambil adalah aspek motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang mana peneliti sebagai instrumen mengambil data, mengolah data, dan menyajikannya dengan uraian pemaparan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya penerapan penguatan reward dan punishment selama pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa, dengan syarat guru memberikan ganjaran atau hukuman disesuaikan dengan bentuk, prinsip, dan tujuan pemberian reward dan punishment.   Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Reward dan Punishment, Sekolah Dasar
