    The Influence of Trade in Services, Inflation, and Foreign Direct Investment on the Sharia Stock Index: A Case Study in Indonesia and Malaysia

    Abstract: Fluctuations in the prices of sharia-compliant stocks in the capital market are statistically reflected by the sharia stock index. The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of trade in services, inflation, and foreign direct investment (FDI) on the sharia stock index in Indonesia and Malaysia during the period 2011-2023. The researcher in this study used a quantitative method and the data source used was secondary data. The results of the study indicate that, partially, the service trade (trade in services) variable has a positive and significant effect on the sharia stock index, but partially, the inflation and foreign direct investment variables do not have an effect and are not significant on the sharia stock index. Meanwhile, simultaneously, the variables of services trade, inflation, and foreign direct investment have a positive and significant effect on the sharia stock index. The adj. R² value is 89%, meaning that the variables of services trade, inflation, and foreign direct investment can explain 89% of the sharia stock index, and all variables have a very good influence, as the R-squared (R2) value is 91%

    This study offers a novel contribution by examining the integration of Tasyri’ and Sharia philosophy within the framework of Islamic law reform in Indonesia. The originality of this research lies in its emphasis on how philosophical integration can reinforce the foundations of contemporary Islamic legislation in a pluralistic context. The primary focus is to explore how the fundamental values of Islamic law can be effectively applied within a modern legislative system that responds to the nation’s social dynamics and constitutional demands. This integration is crucial for bridging the principles of tasyri’—as the normative basis for legal formation—with sharia as a comprehensive legal system that governs human life. This study employs a normative qualitative method, analyzing primary legal sources, positive law, and contemporary literature, with a focus on maqasid al-shariah and comparative analysis across legal schools. The results demonstrate that integrating Tasyri’ and Sharia philosophy as both conceptual and normative foundations in Islamic law-making provides a comprehensive framework that bridges transcendent legal sources with the sociological realities of the ummah. This integration enables the application of Islamic law, which remains relevant to contemporary needs, while enriching national legislation with strong ethical and moral underpinnings. The main challenge lies in harmonizing classical texts with modern social realities to maintain the dynamism, adaptability, and contextual responsiveness of Islamic law. Therefore, the integration of Tasyri’ and Sharia philosophy is not merely theoretical but also practical, supporting the development of national legislation rooted in Islamic values and responsive to the complexity of Indonesia’s pluralistic society

    Tawaran Ekofeminisme untuk Mengatasi Pelanggaran HAM yang Dialami Perempuan dalam Konflik Agaria di Wadas

    Penelitian ini ditulis guna memaparkan tawaran dalam ekofeminisme untuk melihat pelanggaran HAM yang dialami oleh para perempuan pada saat konflik agraria di Wadas. Penelitian ini memakai metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka atas penelitian yang ada. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara etnografi digital. Kemudian, dianalisis dengan pendekatan studi kritis. Di dalam penelitian ini, teori yang dipakai ialah ekofeminisme klasik atau kultural dan ekofeminisme sosialis yang digagas oleh Vandana Shiva. Penelitian ini coba menjawab bagaimana ekofeminisme dapat menjadi salah satu tawaran atas kekerasan dan pelanggaran HAM terhadap pereempuan. Setidaknya, terdapat beberapa hasil dari penelitian ini yakni pertama, perempuan di Wadas mengalami kekerasan dan pelanggaran HAM baik dalam hak sipil politik maupun hak ekonomi, sosial, budaya. Kedua, penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ekofeminisme dapat menjadi tawaran atas adanya kekerasan fisik maupun psikis dan pelanggaran HAM karena negara abai dalam menjamin hak-hak perempuan di Wadas. Melalui ekofeminisme perempuan diposisikan setara dan menjadi subjek yang dipertimbangkan dalam setiap isu agraria atau ekologi. Dengan menggunakan ekofeminisme, pertimbangan negara dalam isu agraria tidak selalu berpihak pada kepentingan kapitalis saja, namun juga mempertimbangkan perempuan. Ekofeminisme sebagai tawaran ini dimaksudkan untuk merubah paradigma yang dipakai negara dalam isu agraria. Dengan paradigma ekofeminisme yang memiliki nilai etika kepedulian dan perdamaian, maka kekerasan terhadap perempuan dapat dihilangkan. Selain itu, negara juga akan dapat melakukan kewajibannya untuk memenuhi (to fulfill), melindungi (to protect), dan menghormati (to respect) HAM

    Application Of Selasi Model Based On Project Based Learning (PjBL) In Developing Children's Creativity

    The transformation of education in the modern era requires learning that innovates in solving problems in society. One of the kindergarten learning innovations in the independent curriculum is project-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) learning. This learning project adjusts the situation and conditions in the field, one of which is the SELASI (Art Collage Creation) model. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of the SELASI model based on PJBL (Project Based Learning) in the development of children's creativity at Amal Insani Kindergarten Yogyakarta. This research uses qualitative research based on field study at Amal Insani Kindergarten Yogyakarta which is supported by other literature sources. This research data collection technique includes three stages, namely interviews, observation and documentation to explore more in-depth information. The results of this study indicate that the SELASI model based on PJBL can develop children's creativity at Amal Insani Kindergarten Yogyakarta. The findings in this study are that the PJBL-based SELASI model not only increases children's creativity but also trains children's independence in solving problems through children's knowledge and experience

    ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' QUESTIONING SKILLS TO CORRECT MISCONCEPTIONS RELATED TO UNDERSTANDING TEMPERATURE AND HEAT MATERIALS

    This study aims to analyze the questioning ability of grade VII students in an effort to correct misconceptions on temperature and heat materials. The ability to ask questions is an important skill in the learning process, because the right questions can help students dig deeper into understanding and identify and correct their misconceptions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subject of grade VII students in one of the junior high schools based on Islamic boarding schools in Ponorogo. Data was obtained through tests, interviews, and document analysis in the form of student question notes during the learning process. The results of the study show that most students still have difficulty asking exploratory and critical questions related to the concept of temperature and heat. However, through targeted guidance from teachers, the quality of the questions. From the questions asked by students on the material on temperature and heat, it can be an indicator of misconceptions because by asking questions, students have constructed their own thoughts, making them more curious and satisfying that curiosity through their ability to ask questions. this research connects the two showing how questioning can be a diagnostic and corrective tool to address students’ conceptual misunderstandings. This research is important because many students still hold misconceptions about temperature and heat, while their questioning skills remain low, preventing these errors from being revealed. By analyzing students’ questions, this study provides an effective way for teachers to diagnose misunderstandings early and improve science learning quality

    Student Perspectives on Social Problems in Indonesia: A Documentation Study on Primakara University Student Articles

    Social problems in Indonesia, such as corruption, drug abuse, and bullying, remain significant challenges impacting national development and social integrity. This study explores students' perspectives on these issues through a documentation study of 86 reflective articles written by Primakara University students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic analysis, the study identifies dominant themes and validates findings with national data and academic literature. The results reveal that students are highly aware of social issues and propose solution-based recommendations emphasizing education, empathy, and policy reform. These insights align with successful practices from Finland, Portugal, and Denmark. The study underscores the importance of student participation in social development and the need for progressive educational policies to support social change

    Exploring Students’ English-Speaking Ability Across Proficiency Levels: A Case Study in Indonesian Islamic Boarding School

    Speaking plays an important role in empowering students learning English as a foreign language to actively engage in various aspects of academic life, such as classroom discussions, presentations, and group projects. However, fluency in English speaking remains a significant challenge for many Indonesian students due to limited exposure to authentic English-speaking environments and insufficient practice opportunities. The aims of this study are to find out the environmental exposure in an Islamic boarding school. Besides, this study also explores the students’ perceptions across proficiency levels in increasing their English-speaking ability in that boarding school. Descriptive qualitative design was used in this study. Observation and interview as the instrument to gain the data were administered in one of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The observation was done to investigate the extent of the English exposure while interview was delivered to 12 students across proficiency levels. The result showed that activities provided by the institution in fostering students’ confidence and fluency are muhadloroh, muhadatsah, and English Day. Those activities play a pivotal role, allowing them to practice speaking in both formal and informal settings. Additionally, peer interactions and consistent exposure to English in daily routines contribute to building communicative competence and reducing language anxiety as the students’ effort in increasing their English speaking ability

    Every religious believer has a certain method to get closer to God. A deep desire to connect with God reflects spirituality that can change an individual's behaviour to be more positive. The interaction between Islam and Sapta Darma is a means to achieve inner peace that integrates physical and spiritual awareness. This research aims to describe the form of syncretism between Islam and Sapta Darma in Surabaya. The method used in this study is to combine field data and literature review with a qualitative approach. The syncretism between Islam and Sapta Darma in Surabaya is very pronounced, but this condition encourages individuals to maintain both teachings. This is due to their desire to achieve balance and well-being in spirituality. Islam and Sapta Darma are not only seen as an escape from life, but also as a new paradigm in understanding the concept of religiosity and spiritual values through syncretism. Syncretic religiosity has become part of the society of Surabaya and functions as a local cultural identity

    Mysticism as an expression of spirituality has long existed in Indonesian society, and one manifestation of this is evident in the tradition of ngalap berkah (the practice of offering blessings). This tradition is seen not merely as a mystical ritual practice but also as a means of maintaining social harmony and strengthening community solidarity. This article aims to examine how the mystical practice of ngalap berkah functions as an effort to maintain social relations in the modern era, which tends towards individualism. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through initial observation and literature review, emphasizing descriptive-analytical methods to understand the cultural, religious, and social contexts of the practice. The results indicate that the practice of ngalap berkah can serve as a bridge between Sufism and local traditions, thus not only fostering individual spirituality but also creating a space for friendship, togetherness, and social cohesion. In a modern society characterized by rationalization and the rapid flow of globalization, the existence of this tradition remains relevant because it presents values of local wisdom that can balance spiritual and social needs. Furthermore, the ngalap berkah tradition also functions as a cultural mechanism to reduce conflict, foster a sense of togetherness, and strengthen the community's collective identity. Thus, nurturing mysticism through the tradition of seeking blessings not only means preserving religious cultural heritage, but also provides a strategic solution in maintaining social harmony amidst the challenges of modernity.Mistisisme sebagai ekspresi spiritualitas telah lama hidup dalam masyarakat Indonesia dan salah satu manifestasinya tampak dalam tradisi ngalap berkah. Tradisi ini dipandang bukan sekadar praktik ritual yang bernuansa mistis, melainkan juga sarana menjaga keharmonisan sosial dan memperkuat solidaritas masyarakat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana perawatan mistisisme dalam tradisi ngalap berkah berfungsi sebagai upaya menjaga hubungan sosial di era modern yang cenderung individualistis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi awal serta kajian pustaka, dengan menekankan metode deskriptif-analitis untuk memahami konteks budaya, religius, dan sosial dari praktik tersebut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa praktik ngalap berkah mampu menjadi jembatan antara ajaran tasawuf dengan tradisi lokal, sehingga tidak hanya menumbuhkan dimensi spiritualitas individu, tetapi juga melahirkan ruang silaturahmi, kebersamaan, dan kohesi sosial. Dalam masyarakat modern yang diwarnai oleh rasionalisasi dan derasnya arus globalisasi, keberadaan tradisi ini masih relevan karena menghadirkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang mampu menyeimbangkan kebutuhan rohani sekaligus kebutuhan sosial manusia. Selain itu, tradisi ngalap berkah juga berfungsi sebagai mekanisme kultural untuk meredam konflik, menumbuhkan rasa kebersamaan, serta memperkuat identitas kolektif masyarakat. Dengan demikian, merawat mistisisme melalui tradisi ngalap berkah tidak hanya berarti melestarikan warisan budaya religius, tetapi juga menghadirkan solusi strategis dalam mempertahankan harmoni sosial di tengah tantangan modernitas

    Artikel ini membahas peran Komunitas Pegon dalam pelestarian sejarah pesantren dan Nahdlatul Ulama di Banyuwangi sebagai bagian dari praktik sejarah publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sejarah sosial-kultural dengan kerangka teori sejarah publik (public history) yang menekankan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam produksi, diseminasi, dan pemaknaan sejarah, serta didukung oleh teori memori kolektif untuk melihat bagaimana narasi pesantren dan Nahdlatul Ulama dibangun dan diwariskan di ruang publik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, meliputi heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi, dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber primer serta literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Komunitas Pegon mengusung tiga program utama, yakni penelitian, pengarsipan, dan publikasi karya. Dalam pelaksanaan kerja-kerja kesejarahan tersebut, Komunitas Pegon secara konsisten melibatkan partisipasi publik serta menjalin kolaborasi dengan lembaga penelitian dan institusi pemerintahan. Berkat kontribusi nyatanya dalam memasyarakatkan sejarah peradaban Islam, khususnya pesantren dan Nahdlatul Ulama di ujung timur Pulau Jawa, Komunitas Pegon tercatat memperoleh berbagai penghargaan prestisius di tingkat regional maupun nasional.This article discusses the role of the Pegon Community in promoting the history of pesantren and Nahdlatul Ulama in Banyuwangi. The Pegon Community is one of the historical communities that has been very prominent as a public historical actor in Banyuwangi for almost a decade. This article was written using historical methods, utilising primary sources and relevant scientific literature. The results of the research show that the Pegon Community carries out three main programmes, namely research, archiving and publication of works. In its historical work, the Pegon Community always involves public participation and often collaborates with research institutions and government agencies. Thanks to its work and tangible contributions in promoting the history of Islamic civilisation, particularly pesantren and Nahdlatul Ulama in the eastern end of Java Island, the Pegon Community has received prestigious awards at the regional and national levels
