Exploring AI-Driven Adaptive Feedback in the Second Language Writing Skills Prompt: AI Technology in Language Teaching
No full textRecent developments in the field of artificial intelligence have changed CALL in the last decade, especially in terms of L2 writing. Therefore, the current research focuses on the extent to which AI-based adaptive feedback technologies in CALL improve L2 writing skills. It discusses the work AI does, the means it uses, and the theories it is based on when providing adaptive feedback, in light of the context, focusing on the role it plays in shaping particular educational pathways. The paper provides an overview of AI-integrated CALL tools that provide a measure of the tool’s effectiveness in generating useful feedback that helps in teaching L2 writing to meet real-world needs. Research findings and studies from different contexts support the use of these tools to improve learners’ L2 writing performance. Issues related to the use of AI-based adaptive feedback will also be addressed, including privacy, algorithm, and learner acceptance issues. By recommending the use of AI technology in language teaching, accompanied by human feedback, this study presents a constructive and moral model of how AI can be used without compromising its learning effect. Consequently, the results of the study show the potential benefits of using AI to generate adaptive feedback in improving L2 writing due to the immediacy, individualization, and possibility of iterating the feedback, which can help revolutionize language learning

The integration of technologies like AI-based route optimization and real-time tracking has become important in overcoming operational challenges caused by the war, including disrupted supply chains, damaged infrastructure, and heightened security risks. These innovations are enabling transport enterprises to minimize costs, optimize routes, and ensure service continuity despite the unstable environment. This paper investigates how Ukrainian transport enterprises are adapting to these modern trends while addressing the complex challenges posed by the war. It emphasizes the need for a flexible and resilient management approach that leverages digital tools, sustainability practices, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency. The findings highlight that a systemic approach, supported by innovation and adaptability, is essential for overcoming the impact of war and ensuring the long-term viability of transport sector of Ukraine
Improving Algebraic Thinking and Productive Desire among a Training Program Based on (TPACK) Model in Jordan
Get PDFThe study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program based on (TPACK- Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) model in improved algebraic thinking and productive disposition among female Primary school teachers. the guide for the training program and study tools was prepared, ensured their validity and stability, an available sample was selected from the schools of Jerash Kasbah of the Directorate of Education of Jerash Governorate, consisted of (36) mathematics teachers, divided into two groups: one experimental consisted of (18) teachers trained according to (TPACK) model, and the other was a control teacher consisted of (18) teachers who did not undergo training. Results showed statistically significant differences on the algebraic thinking test between the members of the control and experimental groups, and in favor of the experimental group that was trained according to the model, also showed that training according to (TPACK) model improved the level of performance of the experimental group mathematics teachers on the productive disposition scale, and raised their performance to an expert level. one of which is need to change the pattern of training programs directed to teachers within specific mathematics content, and apply integrative teaching models that enhance content, pedagogy and enhanced technology
Exploring Embedded Contextual Factors and Their Contribution to Facilitating Autonomous Learning
Get PDFThis study delves into the influence of contextual factors on learner autonomy, highlighting that autonomous learning can be manifested differently due to contextual factors. This study engaged in exploring the learners’ attitudes and learning practices to understand whether contextual factors facilitate learner autonomy in the university context. This study examined contextual factors, e.g., peer interaction, teachers’ role, the curricular context, and prior learning experience, with a view to accomplishing its mission. Data was collected from 20 English language learners using semi-structured interviews, and thematic analysis was employed to analyze the data sets. The findings reveal that peer interaction facilitates autonomous learning through cooperation. Teachers’ authoritarian roles seem to impede the development of learner autonomy. The curricular context tends to be obstructive since it prioritizes rote learning and delimits opportunities for autonomous practices. Participants’ prior experiences of teacher-dependent and rote learning appear to impede their current autonomous learning. The findings of this study implicate that school curricula should create ample opportunities from the early levels of education to maximize learning potential through autonomous learning
Examining the Association of Sexual Health Knowledge and Sexual Attitude of Filipino College Students
Get PDFThis study aims to uncover the association between sexual health knowledge and sexual attitude, explore the various factors, and evaluate its significance in today’s generation. There are a total of 328 individuals who participated in this study comprising first year to fourth year level of students from University of Mindanao Digos College. This study is quantitative and employs a descriptive-predictive research design. Using the Shapiro-Wilk test, to test the normality; however, the test did not show if the continuous variables have a normal distribution by assumption. Mean and Standard Deviation were used to test the levels of both variables, results showed that level of sexual health knowledge among participants is moderate and level of sexual attitudes of college students was marked neutral. Where in the results revealed that general sexual attitude has an inversely positive relationship with reproductive health, contraception, condom use, has a positive correlation with HIV/AIDS, but has no relationship with Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD). Moreover, personal sexual attitude has no significant relationship with reproductive health, but has a very weak positive relationship contraception, condom use, has a weak positive relationship with STD and HIV/AIDS

No full textThe purpose of this theoretical paper is to explore and analyze the influence that music can have on the development of a child from the physical, cognitive, emotional and social aspects. Through a detailed bibliographic research and analysis of conceptual models, we have identified the key role that music plays in improving the motor coordination, perceptual development and cognitive skills of the child. From the emotional perspective, musical experiences serve as a means of expressing and understanding emotions. Introducing music into early education can also potentially improve social skills and interaction among children. Through the analysis of empirical studies and a review of existing theories, we tend to emphasize the importance that music has in the development of a child. By presenting this analysis, we intend to provide a contribution in order to understand how music can improve the scope and quality of a child’s development during the period which one grows up

This paper presents two main points to emphasize the need for a postmodern society in religion. To do this, the works of a great sociologist Emile Durkheim were used, his studies became the method to debunk the ideas of Nietzsche on religion as unnecessary in the society. The first point discussed the important functions of religion in society, such as social cohesion and social order, and the last point tackled how religion values life, as Durkheim found out that a society with less involvement with religion has a higher suicide rate. Dramaturgical Analysis of Tagbilaran\u27s Household Fiesta: Basis for Fiesta Teaching Model
Get PDFThis study conducts a preliminary dramaturgical analysis of Tagbilaran’s Fiesta 2024, focusing on the social interactions and performances within household celebrations. This research applies the dramaturgical framework by Ercan and Hendriks (2022) to analyze the fiesta through four dimensions: scripting, setting, staging, and performance. Participant observation, guided by Goffman’s (1955) concepts of impression management and performance, captured diverse interactions and rituals during the fiesta. The performances in the three observations were identified to be: (1) sage on the table? (2) cosmic festive liturgy, and (3) staying vs leaving early dilemma. Findings reveal how fiesta celebrations are designed, the influence of physical environments on behavior, the organization of interactions, and the contributions to broader social and political discourse. The study also proposes a Fiesta Teaching Model (FTM), translating fiesta dynamics into educational settings to enhance cooperative learning. Future research is suggested to include interviews with organizers and participants, comparative studies across different fiestas, and interdisciplinary projects integrating fiesta traditions into various educational contexts
