A STUDY OF TEACHING SPEAKING STRATEGY USED IN FAJAR ENGLISH COURSE PARE, KEDIRI
Full text linkSpeaking is one of the important skills that must be learned by anyone who wants to master English. In mastering speaking skills, it is necessary to use several strategies. Researchers compiled this thesis with the aim of knowing how the strategies used by tutors in teaching speaking , and students' responses to the strategies used by tutors helped them improve students' speaking skills at Fajar English Course, Pare, Kediri. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers obtained data by observing one speaking class program, namely Mentari class. The researcher also interviewed three tutors in Mentari class and two students in Mentari class. Finally, the researcher collected the documentation obtained from the observations in class. The data were analyzed by organizing the data obtained by the researcher. The findings of this study indicate that the strategies applied by tutors are conversation, story telling, presentation, debate, breaking news, and speech.The reason the tutor uses this strategy is because the strategy is considered a fun strategy, gives students confidence to dare to speak in public, motivates students not to be afraid of making mistakes when speaking, and from speaking practice students also gain new knowledge. For students who have difficulty in learning speaking, the tutor encourages and motivates them to practice more speaking both inside and outside the classroom. Because every difficulty in the process of learning speaking is considered to be easy to overcome with a lot of practice
Penggunaan Metode Complete Sentence Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Materi Teks Berita Kelas VIII
Full text linkModel pembelajaran Complete Sentence secara sederhana dapat diartikan sebagai model pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan cara berdiskusi kelompok dimana setiap kelompok diberikan lembar kerja yang berisi paragraf yang belum lengkap kalimatnya yang akan diisi oleh peserta didik. Indikator keberhasilan peningkatan pembelajaran peserta didik pada penelitian ini dilihat dari 75% peserta didik tuntas KKM (dengan nilai 75). Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari data tes memperlihatkan bahwa pada prasiklus terdapat 44% (14 orang) peserta didik tuntas KKM. Pada siklus I terdapat 63% (20 orang) peserta didik tuntas KKM sehingga siklus dilanjutkan. Kemudian pada siklus II terdapat 81% (26 orang) peserta didik tuntas KKM sehingga siklus dihentikan. Data tersebut memperlihatkan terjadi peningkatan dari prasiklus sampai siklus II. Keberhasilan penelitian sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan didapat saat siklus II, yaitu 81% peserta didik tuntas KKM. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik di setiap siklus mengalami kenaikan. Pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata peserta didik adalah 70,3 atau di bawah KKM. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata peserta didik adalah 74,4 atau di atas KKM. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata peserta didik meningkat menjadi 77,8. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran Complete Sentence berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII-F MTsN 8 Sleman pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi Teks Berita semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2019/2020
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GEOGRAPHY LEARNING THROUGH THE CONCEPT OF GREEN BUILDING IN GRADE XI SOCIAL STUDIES STUDENTS OF SMAN 3 JEMBER TOWARDS ENERGY-SAVING ATTITUDES (WATER AND ELECTRICITY)
Full text linkThe Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns that there are only 12 years left or until 2030 to prevent extreme climate disasters that occur due to global warming (Global Warming). One of the triggers for global warming is air pollution triggered by the large emissions of global greenhouse gases (GHGs). Efforts to reduce the amount of greenhouse emissions emitted by large-scale buildings or civil buildings are to apply the Green Building concept. The research design in this study is survey research with the expost facto method. The research instrument uses tests and questionnaires to answer the research hypothesis, with data analysis techniques using the Paired Sample T Test test to measure the impact of the green building concept on learning outcomes and a simple linear regression correlation coefficient to measure the effect of green building concept learning on energy-saving attitudes. From the results of the Paired Sample t test, a value of t = 0.525 was obtained, because the value of t>0.05 then the Ha hypothesis can be accepted, so there is a significant influence on learning using the green building concept with the learning outcomes of class XI students specializing in social studies at SMAN 3 Jember. As for the results of the simple linear regression correlation coefficient test, the results of which there was a significant influence on learning the green building concept with a water and electricity energy-saving attitude of class XI students specializing in social studies at SMAN 3 Jember.
 
Development of Interactive Learning Media Based on Geogebra Classic 6 to Improve Mathematical Communication on Solid Geometry
Full text linkThis study aims to determine: Showing an interactive learning media of mathematics on students' mathematical communication skills as a whole, The magnitude of the influence of using Geogebra-based interactive learning media on mathematical communication abilities based on educational level, the magnitude of the effect of using interactive mathematical learning media on mathematical communication skills based on previously used interactive learning media, the large influence of the use of interactive learning media plays an important role in systematic mathematical methods, the large effect of the use of interactive learning media on mathematical communication skills is imaginative to mathematical communication based on the mathematical ability that is measured. This study uses the addie model. This sampling technique is highly influential using the Addie model and obtained 20 studies that match the criteria. This data collection technique uses freetest and posttest with the help of Geogebra Classic 6 software and the help of Microsoft powerpoint. The results of this data experiment show that: overall this interactive learning media has a major influence on students' mathematical communication abilities
Improving Learning Outcomes Of Class X Students In Mathematics Learning At SMA Negeri 2 Medan Through The Group Investigation (GI) Type Cooperative Model
Full text linkThis study aims to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics class X MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 2 Medan using the Group Investigation learning model.
This research is a class action research. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA 2 with a total of 36 students.
This research consisted of two cycles with two meetings in each cycle. Each meeting carried out a test of learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used learning achievement tests, observation sheets and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use data reduction and data exposure.
The results of this study indicate that the application of the Group Investigation learning model in mathematics learning can improve student learning outcomes in class X MIPA 2. This increase in learning outcomes can be seen from student contributions during the learning process in the form of student learning outcomes tests, students pay attention to the teacher's explanation, students express opinions , students work with groups, student responses to the use of learning models and the results of observations. The increase in classical completeness on the learning outcomes test I cycle I was 19.44%. Meanwhile, learning outcomes II in cycle I increased to 44.44%. In cycle II, the classical completeness test III of 86.11% increased to 94.44% in the fourth learning achievement test. The observation results showed that in the first cycle it increased from 3.54 to 3.73 in the very good category and the student response to learning using the Group Investigation model in the first cycle was 85% increasing to 90% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that almost all students in class X MIPA 2 gave a positive response and accepted the implementation of the Group Investigation learning model in class X MIPA 2. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the Group Investigation Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics Learning at SMA Negeri 2 Medan
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Reciprocal Teaching Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas VII SMP
Full text linkThis research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of 2 cycles, each consisting of 2 meetings. Before giving action, an initial ability test is first given and at the end of each cycle is given a problem-solving ability test. From the results of the analysis of initial ability test data, it was obtained that many students achieved learning completeness from the initial ability test, namely 18 out of 28 students or 21% with a grade average of 26,7. The results of data analysis in the first cycle after applying the Reciprocal Teaching type cooperative learning model showed that the number of students who achieved learning completeness was 13 out of 28 students or 61% with a grade average of 70,7. The results of data analysis at the end of cycle II with the same learning obtained the number of students achieving learning completeness, namely 24 out of 28 students or 86% with a grade average of 90,86. This means that there is an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills from cycle I to cycle II. Based on classical completeness criteria, this learning has reached the classical completeness target
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Video Animasi Berbasis Aplikasi Inshot Pada Tema 5 Kelas II SDN 040556 Juhar
Full text linkThis study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of InShot application-based animated video learning media on theme 5 class II SDN 040556 Juhar. This type of research is a type of development research (Research and Development) using the 4D (Four D) development model. The instruments used are media expert validation sheets, material experts, educational practitioner assessments, student responses and tests (pre-test and post-test). The results of research related to feasibility show that the results of media expert validation fall into the "Very Feasible" category with a percentage of 93.33%. The results of material expert validation fall into the "Very Feasible" category with a percentage of 92%. The results of the assessment of educational practitioners and student responses related to practicality fall into the "Very Practical" category with a percentage of educational practitioner assessment of 96% and student responses of 93.66%. The results of research related to effectiveness showed that the post-test results reached 80 which was included in the "Very Effective" achievement level
UPAYA GURU KE-NU-AN DALAM MENANAMKAN NILAI-NILAI ASWAJA PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP ISLAM NGADIREJO TEMANGGUNG
Full text linkThis study aims to determine the efforts of Ke-NU-an teachers in instilling the values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah in students at SMP Islam Ngadirejo. In addition, it is also to find out the results obtained in the efforts of NU-an teachers in instilling the values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah in students at SMP Islam Ngadirejo, as well as to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. Qualitative field research uses observation, interview and documentation methods in data collection. Then the analysis technique uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that: 1) Teachers' efforts in instilling Aswaja values in students by instilling Aswaja values in the style of NU-an every day, religious extracurricular activities, IPNU and IPPNU organizations, as well as teaching Aswaja to NU-an in the classroom. 2) the results obtained in the process of instilling Aswaja values in students, namely the more accustomed students are in carrying out various Aswaja amaliyah-amaliyah to NU-an. 3) supporting factors in the process of instilling Aswaja values in students, namely SMP Islam Ngadirejo Temanggung is a school under the auspices of LP Ma'arif NU, then support from school culture that is still thick with Aswaja values, then support from teachers who are competent in ovating students in instilling Aswaja values, as well as support from facilities and infrastructure that can facilitate the learning process. PENERAPAN PROGRAM BOARDING SCHOOL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SISWA SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANJARNEGARA
Full text linkThe results showed that 1) The application of the boarding school program to the learning achievement of PAI at SMP Muhammadiyah Banjarnegara was carried out by the first teacher of the worship practice program, namely the midnight prayer in congregation, morning prayer and morning dhikr, rote deposit, congregational midday prayer, afternoon prayer, evening prayer, muroja'ah memorization, maghrib prayer, tadarus and evening prayer. Second, teaching the book, namely the program teaching the book, which proves that students can understand more deeply about the science of monotheism, worship, muamalah, and morals. The four programs for developing English and Arabic skills have been proven to be able to increase PAI learning achievement because more PAI material relates to the Al-Qur'an and Hadith so that mastery of Arabic is important. The learning achievement of Islamic boarding school students is relatively good, this can be seen from the acquisition of report cards which have a value above 80. 2) The obstacle to the application of the boarding school program on Islamic education learning achievement is the existence of scouting activities, the practice of midnight prayers and obligatory prayers which require supervision, low student participation and relatively weak student memorization. 3) Solutions to the constraints of implementing the boarding school program on Islamic education learning achievement, namely dormitory programs and activities carried out regularly, teachers providing assistance in worship, giving awards or rewards to students who are role models for other students, strengthening the physical and psychological aspects of students and the existence of support full of subject teachers and tahfidz teachers for the sake of creating hafidz as the school wants
Pengaruh Penerapan Absensi Fingerprint Terhadap Kedisiplinan Guru Di SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang
Full text linkTeacher discipline is an attitude or action that shows one's responsibility, professionalism, character, role model and personality in carrying out work as a teacher. In this case, teacher discipline refers to the teachers at SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang school. This study aims (1) to find out how the use of fingerprint attendance at SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang. (2) To find out how the discipline of teachers at SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang. (3) To find out how the effect of the application of fingerprint attendance on teacher discipline at SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang. The results of the study show that the Application of Fingerprint Attendance can be categorized as Very Good. This is evident from the results of the questionnaire data reaching 91.2% which is in the range of 81% - 100%. Teacher discipline can be categorized as Very Good. This is evident from the results of the questionnaire data reaching 88.7% which is in the range of 81% - 100%. The Effect of Fingerprint Attendance Application on Teacher Discipline at SDIT As – Sakinah Tanjungpinang the calculation results obtained that the value of rxy = 0.5419 was between the values (0.40 – 0.70). Thus, rxy = 0.5419 is greater than r table at a significant level of 5% and a significant level of 1% (0.5419 > 0.4629 > 0.3610). This means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So the results of the correlation analysis show that there is an effect of Fingerprint Attendance Application on Teacher Discipline at SDIT As - Sakinah Tanjungpinang.
