Uji Aktivitas Tabir Surya Ekstrak Metanol Kulit Batang Kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) Secara In Vitro
Kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) is a plant that is usually useful as a shade tree on the side of the road, which is thought to have the potential with sunscreen activity. This study aim to determine sunscreen activity of the bark based on %Te, %Tp and SPF values ??in vitro. The extraction was done by maceration using methanol solvent, and then phytochemical screening by color reaction test that showed the presence of flavonoids, phenolics, tannins, saponins, and terpenoid. Sunscreen activity and SPF values ??were determined by measuring the absorbance of extracts with several variations of concentration, using spectrophotometer. The results showed the best concentration for the sunscreen category was 700 ppm. Based on the value of %Te and %Tp, including standard suntan and sunblock categories. While based on the SPF value >15 shows that methanol extract is included in the category of ultra protection
Analisis Efektivitas Biaya Penggunaan Obat Antihipertensi pada Pasien Preeklampsia di RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Periode 2018
Preeklampsia adalah komplikasi pada kehamilan >20 minggu yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya tekanan darah disertai proteinuria serta terkadang diikuti udema.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas biaya obat antihipertensi di RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda. Penelitian dilakukan secara retrospektif terhadap catatan rekam medis. Hasil penelitian terhadap 62 kasus menunjukkan bahwa obat antihipertensi tunggal yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu nifedipin (50%). Penggunaan obat antihipertensi yang efektif dalam menurunkan tekanan darah sistol dan diastol pada terapi preeklampsia adalah obat antihipertensi tunggal nifedipin dengan nilai ACER Rp 57,47 dan Rp 150,40
Analisis Parameter Kimia dan Toksisitas Akut Ekstrak Air Daun Mekai (Albertisia papuana Becc.) pada Ginjal Mencit
Mecca leaf (Albertisia papuana Becc.) Is a plant that is used as a flavor enhancer by the Dayak Ethnic community in East Kalimantan. The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical parameter content of Pb and Cd metals in simplicia and mekai leaf water extracts and to find out the toxicity of mekai leaf water extracts on kidney, liver and spleen of mice. Measurement of chemical parameters namely Pb and Cd metal levels in simplicia and water extracts using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS / AAS) and acute toxicity of water extracts of mekai leaves was done in vivo on test animals with dose variations of 0.105 mg, 2.1 mg, and 42 mg was given to test animals, pharmacological screening was observed, proteinuria levels were carried out using NOVA test® strips, body weight and organ index of mice. The results of measurements of Pb and Cd metal levels in simplicia and extracts of water contained lead as much as 0.851 ppm and 0.642 ppm (<0.10 ppm) and cadmium as much as 0.220 ppm and 0.027 ppm (<0.3 ppm). The result of the toxicity of mekai leaf water extract has LD50>42 mg non-toxic to experimental animals and can stimulate the effects of the central nervous system on experimental animal behavior. So it can be concluded that simplicia and water extract of mekai leaves have Pb and Cd metal content below standard and can stimulate the central nervous system of experimental animals
Kandungan Metabolit Sekunder Tempe Kacang Merah (Phaseolus vulgaris)
Soybean is a bean that is basically used as raw material for making tempeh, but the need for soybeans is not balanced with the amount of production in Indonesia. Therefore it is necessary to study the secondary metabolites needed in red bean tempeh (Phaseolus vulgaris) for alternatives to soybeans as another raw material from non-soy beans produced from Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of secondary metabolites present in red bean tempeh. Samples were obtained from the Sulawesi region. The analytical method used in this study are qualitative submitting flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, tannins, and saponins. The results obtained from studies that have been carried out namely red bean tempeh are proven to have all the composition of secondary metabolites with the exception of saponins
Pengaruh Media Booklet dan Reminder Terhadap Kualitas Hidup Pasien Kanker Serviks dengan Kuesioner EQ-5D
Pendahuluan : Kanker serviks menempati posisi kedua di Dunia yang dapat menyebabkan kematian sebesar 80% pada Negara berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh pemberian booklet dan reminder pada penderita kanker serviks. Metode : Desain penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pre Test and Post Test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik parametrik (paired t-test). Hasil : Pada kelompok booklet diperoleh EQ5D indeks dengan nilai sig p= 0,433 sedangkan VAS method dengan nilai sig p= 0,079 dan pada kelompok reminder diperoleh EQ5D indeks dengan nilai sig p= 0,027 sedangkan VAS method dengan nilai sig p= 0,013. Kesimpulan : Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok booklet dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok reminder
Ekstraksi Polifenol Total dari Umbi Bawang Dayak (Eleutherine bulbosa [Mill.] Urb.) menggunakan Metode Lactic Acid-Sucrose based Microwave Assisted Extraction
Dayak Onion (Eleutherine bulbosa [Mill.] Urb.) It is a plant that grows in Indonesia precisely in the Kalimantan area and has traditionally efficacious in curing various diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, breast cancer, cholesterol-lowering, and stroke. This study aims to determine the effect of using the lactic acid-sucrose based microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) method to extract total polyphenols from Dayak onion tubers (Eleutherine bulbosa [Mill.] Urb.). Dry samples were extracted using a lactic-sucrose acid (green solvent) solvent in the ratio of 1: 1, 2: 1, and 3: 1 g/g with 50% microwave strength for 10 minutes with a ratio of samples and solvents of 1:10 g /mL. Extracts that have been obtained then determined the total polyphenol levels using a UV-VIS spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 791 nm. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained the levels of polyphenols from each condition of the solvent used in the sample that is 28.73 mg GAE/g sample ( 1: 1 g/g solvent); 20.2 mg GAE/g sample ( 2:1 g/g solvent); 36.35 mg GAE/g sample ( 3:1 g/g solvent). From this study, it can be concluded that the MAE method can be used to extract polyphenol compounds from Dayak bulbs
Ekstraksi Polifenol Total dari Herba Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida [L.] KUNTH) Menggunakan Metode Citric Acid-Glucose Based Microwave Assisted Extraction
This study aims to determine the effect of citric acid-glucose based microwave assited extraction (MAE) method on total polyphenols content from (Peperomia pellucida [L.] Kunth) herbs. Dried samples were extracted using green solvent glucose citric acid with a ratio of 1: 1 g/g, 3: 1 g/g, and 5: 1 g/g, respectively, 30% microwave power for 5 minutes, and 1:5 g /mL solid-liquid ratio. Then the obtained extract solution was performed determination total polyphenols content using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent, and the absorbance was measured using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at 791 nm. Based on the results, obtained total polyphenols content according to the extraction condition namely 214.405 mg GAE/g sample (3: 1 g /g solvent), 84.833 mg GAE /g sample (1: 1 g /g solvent) and 53,9451 mg GAE/g sample (5: 1 g /g solvent), respectively. This study is a preliminary data about the use of citric acid-glucose based microwave assisted extraction method on total polyphenols content from this plant quickly, easily and efficiently
Pola Pengobatan Pada Pasien Infark Miokard Akut Di Rumah Sakit Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda
Acute myocardial infarction is a major health problem that needs special attention because of the mortality prevalence and costs is quite high. Generally caused by plaque rupture and thrombus of coronary arteries so that the oxygen-containing blood supply is reduced to the myocardium. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of acute myocardial infarction patients and acutemiokardial infarction drug use pattern at Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Hospital, Samarinda City in the January-December 2018 period. This study was a non-experimental study with a retrospective method and analyzed descriptively. Sampling using a purposive sampling method. The results of the most characteristic study were obtained in patients with acute myocardial infarction in men, namely 7,4%, age characteristics 46-55 years 37,1%, private work 48,6%, and high school education 47,1%. The most treatment pattern used in STEMI patients out of 32 patients was Nitrate + DAPT + Anticoagulant + ACE-I + Statin for 6 patients (18.7%) and the most treatment pattern used in NSTEMI patients out of 38 patients was Nitrate + DAPT + Anticoagulant + ß-Blocker + Statins in 7 patients (18.4%). The use of most drugs ISDN (antiangina) as much as 90%, morphine and petidine (potency analgesic) 8.6%, aspirin (antiplatelet) 84.3%, fondaparinuks (anticoagulants) 68.6% and streptokinase (fibrinolytic agents) 5.7% . To prevent reinfarction the most used drug is bisoprolol (ß-Blocker) 28.6%. The most commonly used left ventricular damage inhibitor candesartan (ARB) is 22.8%. The most given antidislipidemia was simvastatin 47.1%
Skrining Fitokimia Ekstrak Etanol Kulit Nanas (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr)
Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr) is one type of fruit that is in demand by the community, both local and world. Pineapple has a waste part that is skin. Pineapple skin in Indonesia is generally just thrown away as waste, whereas pineapple skin contains chemical compounds that are known to have properties. The purpose of this study was to determine secondary metabolite compounds found in pineapple skin. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Then the method used is phytochemical analysis. The Positive test of this method is characterized by a change in color. Pineapple skin samples were taken from Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The extract was carried out by maceration of dry samples using 96% ethanol solvent. The results of the pineapple skin extraction are then carried out phytochemical screening tests using certain reagents. Phytochemical screening tested included flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, triterpenoids, tannins, phenolics, and saponins. Based on the results of phytochemical screening research, positive pineapple skin extracts contain flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and saponins, while negative results contain phenolic compounds, steroids, and triterpenoids
Aktivitas Antioksidan Ekstrak Kulit Batang Kenitu (Chrysophyllum cainito L.) dengan Dua Metode Ekstraksi
Kenitu (Chrysophyllum cainito L.) adalah salah satu tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat yang biasa digunakan sebagai bahan obat dan memiliki bioaktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur susut pengeringan, kadar air, kadar abu total, metabolit sekunder dan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak kulit batang kenitu yang diekstraksi secara maserasi dan refluks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa susut pengeringan metode maserasi sebesar 5,333%, kadar air 9,740%, dan kadar abu total 1,916%. Sedangkan untuk metode refluks susut pengeringan sebesar 3,333%, kadar air 6.050%, dan kadar abu total 1,385%. Uji fitokimia menunjukkan ekstrak kulit batang kenitu memiliki kandungan fenol, tanin, flavonoid, triterpen dan saponin.Aktivitas antioksidan diperoleh IC50 sebesar 39,521 ppm dengan metode maserasi.Hal tersebut lebih tinggi dari metode refluks yang memperoleh IC50 sebesar 69.265 ppm
