Ekstraksi Polifenol Total dari Umbi Bawang Dayak (Eleutherine bulbosa [Mill.] Urb.) Menggunakan Metode Citric Acid-Glucose based Microwave Assisted Extraction
The use of environmentally friendly solvent-based expulsion methods today began to be widely used, one of which is a microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) using a citric acid-glucose acid solvent. The study aims to determine the influence of the use of citric acid-glucose based microwave-assisted extraction against the total extraction of polyphenols from Dayak onion bulbs (Eleutherine bulbosa [Mill.] Urb.).The dried samples were extracted using a solvent (green solvent) citric acid – glucose with a ratio of 4:1, 5:1 and 6:1 g/g with the extraction conditions in the form of microwave strength of 50% for 10 minutes with a sample and solvent ratio of 1:10 g/mL, then Extract solution obtained further determination of the total levels of polyphenols using Folin ciocalteu reagents, and its absorption was measured using a UV-vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 791 nm. Based on the results of the study, the total amount of polyphenols obtained from each of the solvent conditions used against the samples was 21.92 mgGAE/g samples, 13.86 mgGAE/g samples, and 14.38 mgGAE/g samples. From this study, it can be concluded that the concentration of citric acid in the microwave-based citric acid-glucose method is assisted by extraction according to the ability of the solvent in the competency of polyphenols from Dayak onion bulbs
Gambaran Hasil Aktivitas Antioksidan Berberapa Perlakuan Teknik Preparasi Pembuatan Konsentrasi Ekstrak Kulit Buah Nanas (Ananas comosus L.Merr) Menggunakan Senyawa DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl)
Pineapple skin (Ananas comosus L.Merr) has been known to have a category of strong antioxidant activity against reducing DPPH compounds (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl). However, references to the preparation process of extract concentration making and the treatment of DPPH compounds to extracts are not much elaborated, so that it can cause errors in inferring the category of antioxidant activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of antioxidant activity through the treatment of preparation techniques for the concentration of pineapple peel extract concentration. Pineapple peel extract (Ananas comosus L. Merr) was prepared by maceration method using 70% ethanol solvent. Testing of antioxidant activity was carried out using the UV-Vis spectrophotometric method at a wavelength of 516.4 nm. The extract concentration to be tested was 500 ?g/mL, 250 ?g/mL, 125 ?g/mL, 62.5 ?g/mL and 31.25 ?g/mL and the concentration of DPPH compounds (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) was 45 ?g/mL. Treat the extract making concentration divided into 3 namely P1 (multilevel dilution with a volume ratio of 1: 1) P2 (normal dilution with a volume ratio of 1: 1) and P3 (DPPH solution is used to suffice the volume of the extracted test extract). The results of percent inhibitors from each treatment of making concentrations showed P1 <P2, P1 <P3, P2 <P3, and IC50 of each treatment were P1 268.07 ?g/mL, P2 was 231.28 ?g/mL, P3 was 78.403 ?g/mL. Based on the results of IC50 P3 gives the category of antioxidant activity that is 78,403
Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode Lactic Acid-Sucrose dengan Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) terhadap Polifenol Total dari Herba Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida (L.) Kunth)
This study aim to determine the effect of use lactic acid and sucrose with assistance of Microwave Assisted Extraction (MAE) on Total Polyphenols from Herbs Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida (L.) Kunth). The dried sample of Herbs Suruhan was extracted using (green solvent) lactic acid-sucrose with a ratio of 1:1 g/g, 2:1 g/g and 3:1 g/g and the extraction conditions microwave strength was 50% for 10 minutes at a ratio sample and solvent 1:10 g/ml. Then the extract solution obtained to determine the total polyphenol level using the Folin Ciocalteu reagent and it absorbance was measured using a UV-VIS spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 791 nm. Based on the result of the study, obtained levels of polyphenols from each solvent condition used on the sample were 573,443 mg GAE/g (2:1), 472,479 mg GAE/g (1:1) and 420,14 mg GAE/g (3:1). It can be concluded that the lactic acid-sucrose method with microwave assisted extraction can be used to extract polyphenol compounds from Herbs Suruhan
Kajian Interaksi Obat pada Pasien Gagal Jantung Di RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Kota Samarinda
Cardiovascular diseases is first cause of death and heart failure is the end of all heart diseases and heart failure is causative factor enhancement of mortalities and morbidities heart failure patient. The purpose of the research is to know drug interaction in heart failure patient who undergoing hospitalization in RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie in Samarinda. This research is non experimental and use retrospective to take a material during periods January – December in 2018. The result analyzed use descriptive evaluative and show heart failure case more suffer to the men (59.25%) at age 55-65 (35.80%) with the most of level education is senior high school (39.50%). The studies showed 163 drug interaction case with 18 (11.04%) minor interaction, 140(85.88%) moderate interaction and 5 (3.06%) major interaction
Studi Terapi Antiretroviral pada Pasien HIV/AIDS Di Kota Samarinda
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) adalah virus yang menyerang atau menginfeksi sistem imun yang menyebabkan turunnya kekebalan tubuh manusia. Ada 4 stadium infeksi HIVdimana pada saat virus ini mencapai stadium 4 disebut dengan Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Terapi antiretroviral merupakan terapi yang diberikan untuk orang dengan HIV/AIDS yang harus dikonsumsi seumur hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik serta pola pengobatan pasien HIV/AIDS yang ada di kota Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan ialah observasional dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif pada pasien HIV/AIDS di rumah sakit dan beberapa puskesmas di kota Samarinda dan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil studi observasional menunjukkan total penderita sebesar 233 orang, dengan karakteristik terbanyak, yaitu: berjenis kelamin laki-laki 173 (74,2%), rentang usia 25 s.d 49 tahun (72,5%), pekerjaan swasta (57,9%) dan pendidikan SMA (21,4%). Pengobatan HIV/AIDS di kota Samarinda sebagian besar menggunakan antiretroviral regimen obat kombinasi Triple FDC (Tenofovir 300 mg + Lamivudin 300 + Efavirenz 600)
Pengujian Toksisitas Produk Herbal Secara In Vivo
Penggunaan produk herbal di masyarakat saat ini cukup banyak. Belum ada penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai keamaan penggunaan produk herbal “X”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek toksik dari produk herbal X. Pengujian toksisitas dilakukan dengan pemberian sediaan secara oral selama 28 hari pada 4 kelompok hewan coba uji, yaitu kelompok 1 diberi produk herbal X1, kelompok 2 diberi produk herbal X2, kelompok 3 diberi produk herbal X3 dan kelompok 4 diberi aquadest. Parameter toksisitas produk herbal yang digunakan adalah perubahan berat badan, indeks organ (hati dan ginjal), kadar SGOT dan SGPT, serta gambaran histopatologi organ hati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk herbal X tidak menyebabkan efek toksik terhadap hewan coba
Potensi Ekstrak Buah Libo (Ficus variegate, Blume ) Sebagai Hepatoprotektor pada Tikus (Rattus novergicus)
Buah libo (Ficus variegate, Blume) mengandung metabolit sekunder alkaloid, saponin, flavanoid dan polifenol dimana hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa buah libo memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang dapat berperan dalam pencegahan dan terapi berbagai penyakit termasuk kerusakan hepar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui potensi hepatoprotektor dan dosis efektif ekstrak buah libo pada tikus dibandingkan dengan curcumaÒ melalui indikator SGOT dan SGPT serta perubahan berat badan. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimental laboratorik. Subjek penelitian 12 ekor tikus dalam 4 kelompok perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji One-Way Anova. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kadar SGOT dan SGPT
Formulasi Sediaan Masker Gel Peel Off Ekstrak Etanol Daun Salam (Syzygium polyanthum) sebagai Antioksidan dengan Metode DPPH
Sediaan masker antioksidan gel peel off digunakan untuk menambah perlindungan kulit dari paparan radikal bebas. Salah satu tanaman yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan adalah daun salam (Syzygium polyanthum). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak etanol daun salam dan sediaan masker gel peel off ekstrak etanol daun salam, serta mendapatkan formula terbaik masker gel peel off. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol daun salam dilakukan menggunakan metode DPPH (2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil). IC50 ekstrak etanol daun salam diperoleh sebesar 1,68 ppm. Hasil optimasi basis masker gel peel off didapatkan basis terbaik adalah menggunakan 1,5% carbopol. Hasil pengujian aktivitas antioksidan masker gel peel off dengan konsentrasi 500 ppm dan 1000 ppm ekstrak etanol daun salam diperoleh penghambatan terhadap DPPH sebesar sebesar 25,21 ppm dan 235,57 ppm
Pola Penggunaan Obat Antikonvulsan pada Pasien Gangguan Kejiwaan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Atma Husada Mahakam Samarinda
Anticonvulsants are drugs that developed to inhibit the spread of seizures in the brain by suppressing rapid and excessive neuron firing. Usually, anticonvulsants are used by psychiatric patients who experience seizures, difficulty sleeping, and excessive anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of anticonvulsant drug use in psychiatric patients and determine the characteristics of patients who received anticonvulsant therapy in the January-December 2018 period. This type of study wasnon-experimental with a retrospective method of medical record records of 52 outpatients and outpatients. hospitalization with a diagnosis of psychiatric disorders namely dementia, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. The results showed that the characteristics of patients with female sex (65.38%), ages 26-35 years (25%), and not working (78.84%) more easy to psychiatric disorders. While the pattern of drugs used at Atma Husada Mahakam Mental Hospital in Samarinda is benzodiazepines (84.61%), valproic acid (5.76%), and hydantoins (1.92%)
Efektivitas Serum Lidah Buaya (Aloe vera) terhadap Peningkatan Laju Pertumbuhan Rambut dan Sun Protection
Aloe vera has the potential to increase hair growth rate and sun protection so it is suitable to be formulated in serum. The purpose of this study was to produce a serum formula that meets the standards and produce a serum that has an effect in increasing hair growth rate and sun protection.This study was conducted to make aloe vera serum formula in third variation of the active substance and do a physical evaluation. Data from the physical evaluation test results and for hair growth and sun protection using analyzed statistic. The test results aloe vera serum organopetic clear white with a thick consistency and oleum rosae fragrance. Aloe vera serum have a homogenity dispersion with a viscosity of between 0.023 to 0.058 (Pa.s), the pH value between 5.7 to 6.1 and the spreadability between 6-7 cm. Aloe vera serum is stable for 3 weeks storage at room temperature. Aloe vera serum seen qualitative and quantitative has the effect of hair growth that is equivalent to the positive control (minoxidil) in the treatment for 21 days, and sun protection don’t have effect
