Artificial Neural Networks Models Based on ARX and State Space Forms and Adaptive Control PID/LQR of Systems Based on Peltier Cells
To improve the performance of a thermal plant based on Peltier cell actuators, an online parametric estimation via artificial neural networks and adaptive controller is presented. The control actions are based on adaptive digital controller and an adaptive quadratic linear regulator approaches. The Artificial neural networks topology is based on ARX and NARX models, and its training algorithms, such as accelerated backpropagation and recursive least square. The Control strategies are design-oriented to adaptive digital PID controller and quadratic linear regulator framework. The proposal is evaluated on temperature control of an object that is inside of a chamber
Algebraic Arithmaric of The Remainders
The new Algebraic language has the purpose of describing the demonstrations of modular arithmatic in a diferente language, providing its theorems and axioms in totally new and diferente way from what has been done until now. And in it has the proof and demonstration of Catalan Conjecture.
Direct proof through an equilateral hyperbola to find the infinite Pythagorean triples and a direct proof to find the sum of all odd numbers through a telescopic series
In this article a prove new properties like a connection with Pythagorean triples and a hiperbolic equation. I prove a direct proof about a serie, a telescopic series about the even sum and odd sum. I had an article that use this properties but this results is mine. I discovered this theorem and prove in this article
Composting model with the reuse of organic waste in rural schools
School institutions become producers of organic waste as a result of the daily consumption of school meals offered to students during the school year. An alternative, so that this material is not incorrectly released into the environment, is the implementation of a composting model that will reuse organic waste, generating humus, which will serve as fertilizer for the implementation of a vegetable garden in the school in the rural area. This work aims to propose a composter model in a School in the Rural Area of Manaus for the reuse of organic waste, to develop a prototype of composter for the production of humic substances and mineral nutrients for the creation of gardens, to prepare the manual with guidelines for the correct and sustainable management of the composting plant and the school garden and implementing the garden system through the composting process using school organic waste. The work is a case study that proposes to implement a prototype of compost for the production of humic substances and mineral nutrients for the construction of a school garden. It is intended that the proposal raises the awareness of the school community for the correct management and reuse of solid waste generated by the school and arouse in students and teachers the interest in environmental education and behavior change for the preservation of the environment in which they live
Epidemiological profile of children infected with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome
Newborns exposed to the virus need to have clinical follow-up from birth, maintaining control and permanent health care in specialized multiprofessional services that meet the specific demands of their serological condition. Thus, the aim of the study was to analyze the epidemiological profile of children with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome attended at a Reference Center in the city of Belém, Pará, Brazil. This was a descriptive, cross-sectional epidemiological study with qualitative and quantitative variables on the profile of infected children from secondary data, in the period from 2014 to 2019 in the State of Pará. 1,270 children exposed to the virus by vertical transmission, between 0 and 12 years of age, were identified, 06 (0.47%) of which tested positive for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and 60 (4.72%) children who developed the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, with an average time of 3.5.7 years for disease progression and 8 years for death. In view of the results obtained, it is clear that there is a need to expand health programs in primary care, aiming at health promotion and prevention, as qualified care generates improvements in the quality of life of patients, since most of the transmission is vertical. Thus, it is necessary to carry out further studies in the area, aiming to improve the fight against the disease and reach in more detail the epidemiological profile of HIV/AIDS in children in the State of Pará
Environmental education in Brazil: A look from Law Nº 9.795
Concerns about environmental issues have strengthened since the 1970s in different parts of the world. In Brazil, the socio-environmental debate resulted in the need for Environmental Education. The study presents the trajectory of twenty years since the implementation of the Environmental Education Law, nº 9795, of April 24, 1999 and its importance in guiding education professionals, students and professionals in the tourist trade on environmental education. It is characterized by a study of a qualitative nature, through exploratory research, resulting from the analysis of documents from the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Education. As a result, the essential topics that helped in the creation of this Law are presented, the main foundations that support it and how it touches on the precepts of quality of life and sustainability
Association between emotions and General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) among insurance expatriates in Juba, South Sudan
This aimed at exploring the association between emotions and General Anxiety Disorder (GAD). The study was carried out among insurance expatriates in Juba, South Sudan between September 2020 and July 2021. A sample size of 66 insurance expatriates participated in the study. The findings indicated that there was a significant effect of emotions on general anxiety disorder at the p<.05 [F(1, 55) = 8.543, p = 0.005]. This demonstrates that emotions determine general anxiety disorder such that the higher the emotions, the higher the general anxiety disorder. Implications of these findings for clinical practice is discussed
Digital Testing During the Pandemic Crisis : University Students’ Opinions on Computer-based Tests
In 2020, the pandemic crisis caused by covid-19 led to some changes in global education. Consequently, primary and secondary schools as well as universities introduced distance learning in many countries all over the world. This situation mostly required, among other things, a new way of testing learners’ knowledge and skills. The objectives of this paper are to reveal university students’ opinions on computer-based tests in comparison with paper-and-pencil tests and to map their requirements concerning digital testing of English as a foreign language. The research sample includes 284 students of the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. These students experienced online testing at home during the summer semester of 2019/20 as well as paper tests at school in the previous winter semester of the same academic year. Thereafter, they were asked to complete an anonymous online questionnaire. The results have shown that the learners were mostly satisfied with the introduction of online testing at home. However, if the electronic tests took place at school, not all of them would prefer this way of testing. Regarding tasks in digital tests, the learners gave priority to assignments based on multiple choice. Moreover, the respondents expressed their views on electronic devices and testing speaking skills on online platforms
The Sustainable Transport System at the Federal University of Amazonas
The city mobility likewise the city dynamics might be influence the university space and how will be working the campus mobility. Some studies point out which herewith the cities\u27 evolution, the universities have been developed the same mobility behavior as well as is influenced by the city model. Recently was investigate the constraints and how much it is possible to provide sustainable mobility at the campus. This issue will show the Federal University of Amazonas case. Nowadays, the university transport model is the same as the micro-city kinds, at the regional system have been some constraints in the service level as in the sustainability performance. On the other hand, Amazon\u27s university performance is smoothing the sustainable impact and minimize the ecological footprint by the green area at the campus; it is the very important front of the climate change actions to hit the temperature global goals. This article is shown which is possible to improve sustainable mobility at the campus when is provides other mobility kinds and redesign the transport systems
