Human Resource Development Strategy for Improving Employee Performance at PT. Bintanindo Sukses Perkasa
Get PDFHuman resource development for employees is to improve the productivity and overall performance of the organization. This is due to the recognition of the important role of human resource development in achieving organizational goals. Therefore, this study investigates the human resource development strategy on employee performance at PT. Bintanindo Sukses Perkasa. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to describe in detail the phenomena that occur and analyze the problems that exist in the context of improving employee performance through human resource development strategies at PT. Bintanindo Sukses Perkasa. The results of the study indicate that the human resource development strategy at PT. Bintanindo Sukses Perkasa includes training held by the company, including Project Skill Training, Finance Skill Training, Legal and HRD Skill Training, and Admin Skill Training. With the development of human resources, there is a significant increase in employee performance
The Impact of Product Quality, Product Design, and Lifestyle on iPhone Purchasing Decisions
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the role of lifestyle in mediating product quality and product design on iPhone purchasing decisions in Denpasar City. Using a quantitative approach that is predetermined, statistical data analysis and statistical data interpretation. The subjects in this study were all users of iPhone products in Denpasar City. For the object of this research are product quality (X1) and product design (X2) as the independent variable, purchasing decisions (Y) as the dependent variable, and lifestyle (M) as mediation. Sample selection using non probability sampling method on iPhone users in Denpasar City. Collecting data by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The analysis technique uses structural equation model (SEM) analysis based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research indicated that: (1) product quality has a positive and significant influence on lifestyle (2) product design has a positive and significant influence on lifestyle (3) product quality has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions (4) product design has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions (5) lifestyle has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. In the indirect effect, it shows that (6) product quality has an influence on purchasing decisions mediated by lifestyle (7) product design influences purchasing decisions mediated by lifestyle. Practically, this research provides the implementation of company strategies to consider product quality, product design, and understand consumer lifestyles because they are factors that determine purchasing decisions, especially on iPhone products in Denpasar City
HALAL MSMEs DEVELOPMENT MODEL THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF BUSINESS COMPETITION FIQH
Get PDFOne of the main problems that occur in the development of halal MSMEs is the complex and expensive halal certification process. This study aims to obtain a halal MSME development model through business competition fiqh. This research will also later explore related to the fiqh of business competition which is not widely known by Halal MSMEs. The research method used is quantitative description. The result 1) tstatistic 3.932> 1.96, P value of 0.000 <0.05 (Significant) then Marketing, has no effect on the development of Halal MSMEs. 2) t-statistic 0.630 < 1.96, Pvalue 0.592 > 0.05 (Not Significant) then Digital literacy and product innovation have no effect on the development of Halal MSMEs. 3) H3: X3 Against Y = t-statistic 2.902> 1.96, Pvalue 0.004 <0.05 (Significant) then product innovation has an effect on the development of Halal MSMEs. 4) Then Z against Y = t-statistic 1.310 < 1.96, pvalue 0.191 > 0.05 (Not Significant) . MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis): 5) H5 : X1*Z on Y: -0.056 (negative / weakening), pvalue 0.529 > 0.05 (Not Significant) then Fiqh of Business competition does not play a role in moderating the marketing relationship with the development of Halal MSMEs. 6) H6 : X2 * Z to Y: 0.090 (positive, pvalue 0.281> 0.05 (Not Significant) then Fiqh competition does not play a role in moderating the relationship between digital literacy and the development of Halal MSMEs. 7) H7: X3 * Z to Y: -0.087 (positive, pvalue 0.064> 0.05 (Not Significant) then Fiqh competition does not play a role in moderating the relationship between Product Innovation and the development of Halal MSMEs
The Effect of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance Mediated by Earnings Management
Get PDFThis study examines the impact of Good Corporate Governance on financial performance, considering the role of earnings management as a mediating variable. Good Corporate Governance works to increase transparency and accountability, and reduce information asymmetry, both of which can impact a company's financial performance. This research is expected to add to the literature on the relationship between Good Corporate Governance, earnings management, and financial performance. Quantitative research methods are used in this study. The data used in this study are secondary data taken from the company's annual financial statements. The analytical tool used in this research is Partial Least Squares (PLS). The population in this study is a State-Owned Enterprise company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. The results of this study indicate that Good Corporate Governance affects Financial Performance, but it does not affect earnings management. Conversely, Earnings Management affects Financial Performance, and it does not mediate the effect of Good Corporate Governance on Financial Performance
Conflict Management in the Enforcement of Regional Regulations by the Civil Service Police Unit of Sumenep Regency
Get PDFThis research explores the conflict resolution methods employed by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Sumenep Regency in the context of enforcing regional regulations, with a particular focus on the displacement of street vendors (PKL). The implementation of these regulations frequently leads to social tensions, especially when they impact marginalized groups like street vendors. Using a qualitative case study method, the study was carried out in urban parts of Sumenep, including Taman Tajamara and Giling Sumenep. Data were gathered through comprehensive interviews, on-site observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that coercive enforcement measures often provoke stronger public opposition, whereas approaches that encourage cooperation and community involvement are more successful in fostering mutual trust and resolving disputes peacefully. The research highlights the necessity of embedding social justice values and restorative approaches in regulatory enforcement to promote constructive and harmonious relationships between authorities and the public
Antecedents of User Trust in MITA Chatbot: A Study of Bank Mandiri Digital Services
Get PDFDigital transformation has driven financial institutions to adopt chatbot technology to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, interface design, perceived risk, and structural assurance on user trust in chatbots, focusing on the MITA WhatsApp Business chatbot of Bank Mandiri. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 262 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The participants were Bank Mandiri customers who had used the MITA chatbot service. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The hypothesis testing results indicate that service quality and interface design significantly impact user trust in the chatbot. In contrast, perceived risk and structural assurance do not significantly influence user trust. Furthermore, chatbot trust positively affected behavioral intention and user satisfaction. This study is expected to provide insights for marketing managers in developing strategies to foster user trust in chatbot services within the banking sector and understand its implications for user behavior and future digital service development
Studi Eksploratif Kualitas Hidup Kerja Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan PT Bank Sumut Syariah Kota Medan
No full textThe decline in employee performance at the Medan Syariah Branch and the Medan Ringroad Syariah Branch of PT Bank Sumut Syariah, Medan, has had a serious impact on the organization’s target achievement. This condition is suspected to be related to suboptimal Quality of Work Life (QWL), such as an imbalanced workload, limited participation in decision-making, lack of transparency in the reward system, and minimal attention to mental health. In the context of Islamic banking, this issue is also closely tied to the application of Islamic values such as justice (‘adl), trustworthiness (amanah), consultation (shura), and excellence (ihsan). This study aims to explore and analyze the influence of QWL on employee performance using a mixed-method sequential exploratory design. The qualitative phase was conducted through in-depth interviews with eight informants, revealing that although restructuring has accelerated digitalization, it has also increased work pressure. Participation is still perceived as symbolic, the reward system is considered unfair, and the work environment lacks attention to psychological aspects. The quantitative results, obtained through questionnaires distributed to 104 respondents, show that the four variables work restructuring, job participation, reward system, and work environment have a positive and significant influence on performance, with an R² value of 0.707. The synthesis of both approaches confirms that a high quality of work life, both technically and spiritually, can enhance employee performance. The consistent application of Islamic values in organizational management can strengthen employees’ motivation, loyalty, and professionalism. This study recommends comprehensive, fair, and value-based QWL management as a strategic approach to improving performance in Islamic banking.Penurunan kinerja karyawan di Cabang Syariah Medan dan Cabang Syariah Medan Ringroad PT Bank Sumut Syariah Kota Medan berdampak serius pada pencapaian target organisasi. Kondisi ini diduga berkaitan dengan kualitas hidup kerja (Quality of Work Life/QWL) yang belum optimal, seperti beban kerja tidak seimbang, partisipasi terbatas dalam pengambilan keputusan, sistem imbalan kurang transparan, serta minimnya perhatian terhadap kesehatan mental. Dalam konteks perbankan syariah, persoalan ini juga berkaitan erat dengan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam seperti keadilan, amanah, musyawarah, dan ihsan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas hidup kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan pendekatan mixed method desain sekuensial eksploratori. Tahap kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap delapan informan, yang mengungkap bahwa meskipun restrukturisasi mempercepat digitalisasi, hal ini menambah tekanan kerja. Partisipasi dinilai masih bersifat simbolis, sistem imbalan kurang adil, dan lingkungan kerja kurang memperhatikan aspek psikologis. Hasil kuantitatif melalui kuesioner kepada 104 responden menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel restrukturisasi kerja, partisipasi kerja, sistem imbalan, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, dengan R² sebesar 0,707. Sintesis kedua pendekatan mengonfirmasi bahwa kualitas hidup kerja yang baik secara teknis dan spiritual dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Nilai-nilai Islam yang diterapkan secara konsisten dalam manajemen organisasi dapat memperkuat motivasi, loyalitas, dan profesionalisme karyawan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengelolaan QWL yang menyeluruh, adil, dan berbasis nilai sebagai strategi peningkatan kinerja di perbankan syariah
The Effect of Foreign Ownership, Investment Decisions, And Profitability on Company Value (Study on Companies Listed in the LQ45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the Period 2019-2023)
Get PDFFirm value reflects investors' perceptions of a company's performance, often indicated by stock price movements and closely tied to how effectively management utilizes resources. This study examines the influence of foreign ownership, investment decisions, and profitability on firm value in companies listed in the LQ45 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. Employing a quantitative approach, secondary data were analyzed using panel data regression and descriptive statistics via Eviews 12. The sample, consisting of 22 companies selected through purposive sampling based on criteria such as consistent listing in LQ45 and data availability, may limit the generalizability of findings. Investment decisions were proxied by capital expenditure to total assets, profitability by return on assets (ROA), and firm value by Tobin's Q, while foreign ownership was measured as the percentage of shares held by foreign investors. The results show that foreign ownership, investment decisions, and profitability collectively influence firm value significantly. Partially, only investment decisions have a positive and significant effect. However, the study does not explicitly control for external shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which may have affected financial performance and investor perception during part of the observation period. Future research should consider incorporating control variables for macroeconomic disruptions, expanding the sample size, or extending the study period. Practically, company management is advised to prioritize sound investment decision strategies to enhance firm value. For investors focusing on LQ45 stocks, attention to firms’ investment policies may serve as a reliable basis for valuation assessments
Tafsir Sabilillah Nahdlatul Ulama dan Implikasinya Terhadap Pendayagunaan Zakat
Get PDFAs the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, the influence of NU’s religious opinion is often a reference and dominates the discourse space. The interpretation of sabilillah, in the context of zakat management, has been one of the topics debate since the middle age and even today. Amids various criticisms, NU is consistent with its view that follows the majority of the four sunni schools of thought (mazhab), that sabilillah means fighting in the way of Allah, in contrast to modernist who interpret sabilillah as sabil al-khair (public welfare). This study brings us to the implication of this interpretation on innovation: is NU able, with a narrow interpretation, to carry out the utilization of zakat optimally, in order to—carry out the mandate of law (UU 23/ 2011)—alleviate proverty and improve welfae? This study found that, despite being supported by various fatwas that strengthe narrow interpretation through various Muktamar and Munas Alim Ulama, in practice NU Care-LAZISNU continues to channel its zakat to asnaf sabilillah even though there is no longer war in the name of religion. In fact, in its organizational regulations, NU Care-LAZISNU interprets sabillah as da’wah and propagation of Islam ahlussunnah wal jamaah.Pendapat keagamaan dalam sudut pandang Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) sering mendominasi ruang wacana keagamaan di Indonesia, termasuk dalam tafsir sabilillah terkait pengelolaan zakat. Sejak abad pertengahan hingga saat ini, tafsir sabilillah dalam konteks zakat diperdebatkan, dengan NU yang konsisten mengikuti pandangan mayoritas mazhab empat, yang memaknai sabilillah sebagai berperang di jalan Allah. Hal ini berbeda dengan kalangan modernis yang menafsirkan sabilillah sebagai sabil al-khair (kemaslahatan umum). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implikasi tafsir ini terhadap pendayagunaan zakat, khususnya dalam mengatasi masalah sosial seperti kemiskinan dan kesejahteraan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan wawancara. Sumber data utama adalah dokumen hasil Bahtsul Masail pada Muktamar dan Munas NU, fatwa-fatwa resmi NU, serta laporan pengelolaan zakat oleh NU Care-LAZISNU. Wawancara dilakukan dengan pengurus PBNU, LBM PBNU, dan pengelola NU Care-LAZISNU untuk memperoleh gambaran praktik zakat sabilillah. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun NU tetap mempertahankan tafsir sabilillah yang sempit, dalam praktiknya NU Care-LAZISNU mengaplikasikan tafsir yang lebih luas dengan memaknai sabilillah sebagai dakwah dan syiar Islam Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami dinamika tafsir sabilillah dalam fiqh kontemporer dan dampaknya terhadap pengelolaan zakat di Indonesia, meskipun penelitian ini terbatas pada konteks internal NU tanpa membandingkan dengan praktik zakat di negara lain
The Influence of Mathematics Anxiety on the Results of Daily Mathematics Tests of Elementary Madrasah Students' in Malangbong District
No full textThis study aims to determine the effect of mathematics anxiety on the daily mathematics test results of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students in Malangbong District. Mathematics anxiety is a form of negative emotional response that can decrease students’ academic performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design. The sample consisted of 99 students from three different MI schools selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire and documentation of students’ daily mathematics test scores. The results showed a significant negative effect of mathematics anxiety on students’ daily test performance. These findings highlight the need to consider students’ psychological aspects in primary-level mathematics instruction
