The Influence of Deviden Policy, Funding Decisions and Investment Decisions on Company Value with ROE as an Intervening Variable in Industrial Sectors Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange
This study examines the effect of funding decisions, dividend policies, and investment decisions on firm value, with Return on Equity (ROE) as an intervening variable in industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The industrial sector plays an important role in economic growth, but faces challenges such as falling profits and market pressures. This study uses an associative approach with secondary data collected through documentary studies from 62 industrial companies during 2021-2023. Data analysis includes classic assumption tests and path analysis. The results showed that funding decisions, dividend policy, and investment decisions have a very strong correlation with ROE. These variables, when mediated by ROE, show a stronger relationship to firm value. The F test shows that Dividend Policy, Funding Decisions, and Investment Decisions have a significant effect on ROE, while Dividend Policy, Funding Decisions, and Investment Decisions through ROE as intervening variables do not have a significant effect on the firm value variable. The t-test shows that partially, the dividend policy variable, funding decisions, have no partial effect on ROE, while investment decisions have a partial effect on ROE. Partially, the dividend policy variable, funding decisions, and investment decisions do not have a significant effect on the firm value variable through ROE. Future research is recommended to explore additional variables or use alternative analytical tools to gain more comprehensive insights
The Effect of Risk-Based Capital and Claim Ratio on the Financial Performance of Insurance Companies
The insurance industry has developed rapidly enough to cause intense competition between companies. In competition, it is necessary to have good work prospects and public trust, one of which is having a healthy financial performance. Financial performance can be influenced by several factors, namely risk-based capital and claim ratio. The study analyzed whether risk-based capital and claim ratios affect financial performance. The population of this study is insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2023. This research uses quantitative methods with purposive sampling methods with a total sample of 15 companies over 5 5-year period. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained through the company’s financial statements and annual reports. The results of this study indicate that risk-based capital affects financial performance. Meanwhile, the claim ratio does not affect financial performance
Enhancing Donation-Based Crowdfunding with Togaf & AI: Sustainability Case Study at Foundation XYZ
Crowdfunding has emerged as a crucial mechanism for expanding financial accessibility, particularly for projects focused on sustainability. However, the success of foundation-based crowdfunding largely depends on trust and transparency. This study aims to investigate the role of these factors in influencing donor confidence and campaign success. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the research combines qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The study was conducted on active crowdfunding campaigns within sustainability-focused foundations, employing surveys, interviews, and platform data analytics to assess stakeholder engagement, financial transparency, and campaign effectiveness. The findings reveal that transparent fund management significantly impacts donor trust, with campaigns demonstrating clear financial accountability attracting more sustained contributions. Additionally, the study identifies the importance of effective communication and measurable impact reporting in fostering a supportive crowdfunding ecosystem. The research provides actionable recommendations for foundation-based giving organizations and sustainable entrepreneurs to strengthen transparency and stakeholder involvement, ultimately enhancing donor confidence and community support for sustainability initiatives
Individual Characteristics and Work Environment in an Effort to Encourage Improved Employee Performance at PT Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah
This study focuses on individual characteristics and work environment to encourage increased employee performance at PT Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah, located in Cirebon Regency. The purpose of this study is to identify various factors that can improve employee performance. The type of research used is associative research with a quantitative approach, with multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study took the object of all permanent employees of PT. Siraj Badawi Cukup Rupiah, totaling 151 employees, was also used as a sample. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS software to test the regression model and the relationship between variables. The results showed that individual characteristics have a significant influence on employee performance, as well as the work environment, which also has a significant effect on employee performance. This study confirms that positive individual characteristics can create a more supportive work environment and increase work effectiveness. And it is expected to contribute to the understanding of the relationship between individual characteristics, work environment, and provide strategic implications for management in efforts to improve performance in the company
The Impact of Social Media Marketing and Endorsement on Purchasing Decisions at Daarul Jannah Cottage
The central aim of this study is to analyze social media marketing (SMM) and the use of endorsements influence purchasing decisions at Cottage Daarul Jannah, a sharia-based accommodation. Using a purposive sampling technique, 50 customers were selected as respondents, and data were obtained through questionnaires measuring aspects of SMM, endorsement, and purchase decision. The findings revealed that both variables influence purchasing decisions, positively and significantly, both individually and simultaneously. The findings suggest that the implementation of digital marketing strategies through social media, as well as the use of endorsements from influencers, can increase customer interest and strengthen their decision to make a purchase. Therefore, the optimization of digital marketing strategies has the potential to be a crucial element in improving competitiveness and building customer loyalty in the hospitality industry
Impact of Electronic Word of Mouth, Influencers, on Consumer Purchase Intentions on Fashion (Erigo Brand Study)
This study examines the influence of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and social media influencers on consumer buying intent, with an emphasis on the Indonesian fashion brand Erigo. The study aims to analyse how eWOM and influencers directly influence consumers’ purchase intention towards Erigo products. Data for this study were gathered using a quantitative methodology. through an online questionnaire from 150 active Users of social media between the ages of 18 and 40 in Cirebon City who are familiar with the Erigo brand. The sampling method followed Roscoe’s Rule of Thumb, while the data was examined using multiple regression analysis. Results indicate that although eWOM contributes to brand perception, It has no discernible impact on the intention to buy. On the other hand, influencers show a strong positive impact on consumer purchase intentions, with their digital presence and credibility contributing significantly to consumer interest. The study found that eWOM and influencers together explained 33.0% of the difference in consumers' purchase intentions, and the remaining 67.0% was due to other factors. The findings contribute to digital marketing theory by highlighting the dominant role of influencers over eWOM in shaping consumer behaviour
The Influence of Motivation and Work Environment on the Performance of Generation Z Employees in South Jakarta
This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of Generation Z employees in the South Jakarta area. The problem identified in this study is the low performance of employees in several work sectors, which is suspected to be influenced by work motivation and work environment conditions. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative design to measure the relationship between work motivation and work environment variables as independent variables, and employee performance as the dependent variable. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents randomly selected using a random sampling method based on the Slovin formula. The results of the study indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a calculated t value of 2.354 (p = 0.021). In addition, the work environment is also proven to have a significant positive influence on employee performance, as evidenced by a calculated t value of 3.696 (p = 0.000). The conclusion of this study confirms that motivation and work environment play an important role in improving the performance of Generation Z employees. The practical implication of this study is the importance of managing motivation and optimizing the work environment to create a conducive work atmosphere that encourages productivity and the achievement of organizational goals
The Influence of Net Working Capital and Sales Growth on Company Financial Performance (A Study of Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018–2022)
A company's financial performance reflects the outcomes of various activities that contribute to its overall success. This study investigates the impact of net working capital and sales growth on financial performance, both jointly and individually. A quantitative approach is applied, utilizing secondary data and EViews version 12 to test the research hypotheses. The analysis includes multicollinearity testing, heteroscedasticity testing, Chow test, Hausman test, Lagrange multiplier test, and the common effect model. The results indicate that net working capital and sales growth, when considered together, have a significant and positive effect on financial performance
Product Attributes, Price, and Promotion on Purchase Decisions of Halal Cosmetics with Religiosity and Halal Label as Moderation
The cosmetics industry is experiencing significant growth, with halal cosmetics emerging as a critical segment driven by religious considerations. This study investigates the factors influencing halal cosmetic purchase decisions among Muslim consumers using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research explores the complex interplay between product attributes, price, promotion, religiosity, and halal labeling in shaping consumer purchasing decisions. Employing a survey method with 120 respondents, the study reveals that halal labeling is the most dominant factor in purchase decisions, with religiosity playing a crucial mediating role. Product attributes significantly influence religiosity, while price and promotion demonstrate minimal impact. The findings highlight that spiritual considerations and religious conformity far outweigh conventional commercial factors in halal cosmetic purchasing. This research provides valuable insights for marketers and manufacturers in understanding the nuanced decision-making process of Muslim consumers, offering both theoretical contributions and practical implications for the halal cosmetics market
The Influence of Leadership Style and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the Cirebon City Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprise Trade and Industry Service
Companies play an important role in producing goods or services to achieve profits, and human resources (HR) have a crucial role in determining the success and development of the company. Employees as the main component in the company, need special attention regarding HR management so that the company's goals are achieved. HR development aims to improve the quality of workers to support good performance. This study focuses on the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at the Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade and Industry Service of Cirebon City. Based on theory, the right leadership style and high work motivation can improve employee performance. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the regression analysis showed that leadership style and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. A leadership style that pays attention to the welfare and communication with subordinates, as well as high work motivation, can improve employee performance at the Service. The results of this study provide an important contribution to the company in creating a conducive and productive work environment
