    Pentahelix's Communication Strategy In Promoting Sustainable Tourism

    This study examines Communication's role in sustainable tourism development in Wonokitri Tourism Village, Pasuruan. It is essential to explore how communication between various actors, namely academics, business people, communities, governments, and the media, can affect the management and promotion of tourist destinations. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis to identify the role of each actor in building a positive image and increasing the village's attractiveness. The results show that academics play a role in designing research-based communication strategies, while businesspeople use social media and digital platforms for promotion. Local communities, through Pokdarwis, collaborate with other institutions to promote culture and ecotourism, while village governments are responsible for crafting policies that support sustainable tourism and provide the necessary infrastructure. The media is essential in introducing the village through articles and digital content. This research contributes to developing tourism communication science, primarily visual and online communication, and enriches the literature on collaboration between the public sector, business, and society in tourism management

    Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi periklanan Kedai- Kedai di Tuban dan dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan bisnis, dengan menggunakan Teori Difusi Inovasi oleh Everett M. Rogers. Kedai ini mengadopsi tren makanan pedas yang populer di kalangan anak muda, dipromosikan melalui media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, serta media cetak lokal. Strategi periklanan diterapkan secara bertahap, dimulai dari promosi Word of Mouth (WOM) hingga media yang lebih modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang terintegrasi dengan baik mampu meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung hingga 50-70 orang per cabang per hari, dengan omset mencapai 120 juta rupiah per bulan. Keterlibatan dengan komunitas lokal mempercepat difusi inovasi dan memperluas pasar. Keputusan adopsi konsumen dipengaruhi oleh kualitas produk dan pengalaman positif, yang menciptakan loyalitas pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, strategi periklanan inovatif dan terarah menjadi kunci keberhasilan Kedai Kedai, memberikan wawasan penting bagi usaha kecil dalam mengembangkan bisnis

    This article describes the phenomenon of drug rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools with a systematic literature review approach through a social resilience perspective. The aim is to provide a profile of previous research that can be studied from the perspective of social resilience attributes, and then become a further research agenda. This article uses a qualitative approach through a literature study with two data collection methods, namely secondary data in the form of scientific articles from search engines on the University of Indonesia library website and Google Scholar during July-August 2024, then primary data is conducted through interviews. The results of the study indicate that there is a research gap that can be filled by referring to the topics of alternative care, spiritual approaches, medical practices, and faith-based care. Other findings show that rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools meet three of the four social resilience attributes used, this proves that rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools support the realization of social resilience, in the context of drug handling. However, one attribute that has not been met is ‘engaged governance’. Thus, the next research agenda is the strategy for utilizing rehabilitation Islamic boarding schools as alternative care to support the national rehabilitation program for drug addicts. Artikel ini menyajikan fenomena pondok pesantren rehabilitasi narkoba dengan pendekatan systematic literature review melalui sudut pandang ketahanan sosial. Tujuannya adalah menyediakan profil penelitian terdahulu yang dapat dikaji melalui kacamata atribut ketahanan sosial, serta kemudian menjadi agenda penelitian selanjutnya. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka dengan dua metode pengumpulan data yakni data sekunder berupa artikel ilmiah dari search engine di website perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia dan google scholar selama Juli-Agustus 2024, kemudian data primer dilakukan dengan wawancara. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat celah penelitian yang dapat dilengkapi dengan merujuk pada topik perawatan alternatif, pendekatan spiritual, praktik medis, dan perawatan berbasis kepercayaan. Temuan lainnya menunjukkan pondok pesantren rehabilitasi memenuhi tiga dari empat atribut ketahanan sosial yang digunakan, hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa pondok pesantren rehabilitasi mendukung perwujudan ketahanan sosial, konteksnya penanganan narkoba. Namun, satu atribut yang belum terpenuhi adalah engaged governance. Sehingga, agenda penelitian selanjutnya adalah strategi pemanfaatan pondok pesantren rehabilitasi sebagai perawatan alternatif guna mendukung program rehabilitasi nasional bagi pecandu narkoba

    Managerial Competence of Headmaster in Developing Islamic Religious Education with a Multicultural Insight at Senior High School

    Headmaster, as the captain of an institution, should have adequate managerial competence. The managerial ability of a headmaster is a very important thing for a headmaster to have.  With these abilities, headmasters are expected to be able to manage their institutions effectively and efficiently so that a school institution will become a quality educational institution. The aim of this research is to reveal the planning, organization, implementation and supervision of headmasters' managerial competencies in developing Islamic religious education with a multicultural perspective in high schools. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type, to describe, analyze and provide natural interpretations regarding headmaster managerial matters. In exploring the data, informants were determined using purposive sampling and data development using snowball sampling, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis techniques use the Spradley model or Cyclical model. Data validity uses internal validity, external validity, reliability and objectivity. The conclusion of the research results shows that planning in developing Islamic Religious Education with a multicultural perspective is made clearly as a guideline for activities that emphasizes the direction of activities carried out and makes it easier to obtain support from resources and potential from both institutions and the environment. The organizing process is structured on the basis of predetermined goals and formal mechanisms contained in the organizational structure that reflect the needs and optimization of existing resources within the institution. The implementation process requires good communication skills from a leader so that he is able to convey ideas, ideas, procedures, policies and goals well. Supervision has a direct relationship to the planning, organizing and implementation processes because it is related to adjusting implementation standards within the institution. &nbsp

    Strategy for Developing the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Program to Improve Students’ Non-Academic Achievement (a Case Study at Madrasah Aliyah Sabilul Muttaqin Pungging Mojokerto)

    The Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program at Madrasah Aliyah plays a strategic role in shaping character and improving students’ non-academic achievements, such as discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. While the program’s primary goal is to memorize and understand the Qur’an, its benefits extend beyond spiritual aspects. The Tahfidz program not only hones religious capabilities but also develops essential life skills that support non-academic achievements, such as leadership, teamwork, and adaptability in social environments. This study aims to analyze the strategies for developing the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program at Madrasah Aliyah Sabilul Muttaqin, Pungging, Mojokerto, and its impact on students’ non-academic achievements. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving program instructors, Tahfidz participants, and the school principal. The findings of the study show that the development strategies include planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Development activities are conducted by forming Tahfidz groups, providing intensive supervision, and awarding incentives to motivate students. As a result, students demonstrate improvements in discipline, self-confidence, and organizational skills. In conclusion, the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an program not only strengthens religious values but also significantly contributes to enhancing students’ non-academic achievements

    Revitalizing Islamic Leadership: Pillars of Social Stability and Global Religious Moderation

    Global challenges such as radicalism, interfaith tensions, and social inequality necessitate the emergence of a leadership model oriented towards harmony and justice. This article analyzes Islamic Servant Leadership as a strategic approach to building a stable and moderate global civilization. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study explores the impact of implementing Islamic leadership values—justice, empathy, and service—on enhancing social stability and promoting religious moderation. The study was conducted in Sidoarjo, a region with cultural and religious diversity that represents global challenges. The main findings show that Islamic Servant Leadership significantly contributes to fostering inclusive interfaith dialogue, reducing social tensions, and promoting religious moderation. For instance, the Islam-based Religious Education (PAI) program focusing on tolerance successfully encouraged the younger generation to understand the importance of moderate religious attitudes. However, the implementation of these values faces challenges, including cultural resistance and limited leadership training. This article offers novelty by integrating Islamic Servant Leadership in the context of global social stability through an empirical approach. The study emphasizes the importance of leadership training based on service to create inclusive, adaptive, and responsive leaders to the needs of society. The findings contribute both theoretically and practically, especially in designing public policies based on Islamic values. The implications of this research include the need for structural reforms in social and governmental organizations to ensure the sustainability of implementing Islamic Servant Leadership

    There is an ethical crisis among students regarding discipline and responsibility in accomplishing their tasks towards parents, teachers and their environment. This has led to criticism from parents of educational institutions and provoked a strong reaction from society. There is a need to understand the discipline and responsibility of Islamic religious education and to learn from this issue. However, SDN Ngastemi 1 Mojokerto has already implemented the assimilation of discipline and responsibility personality, which can be seen from everyday habits such as arriving at school on time and taking responsibility for the cleanliness of the school environment. The purpose of this research is to understand the assimilation of discipline and responsibility personality through Islamic religious education and to identify supporting and inhibitory factors, as well as solutions in the assimilation of discipline and responsibility personality through Islamic religious education in SDN Ngastemi 1 Mojokerto.This research is a type of qualitative studies that analyze the field and use data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusions and results of the study indicate that the assimilation of the personality of discipline and responsibility through Islamic religious education in SDN Ngastemi 1 was carried out in the form of daily habituation activities. Supporting factors include control from the principal through direct involvement, regular assessments, the active role of teachers, the active role of parents, and student outreach. Inhibitory factors are family factors and environmental factors

    THE EFFECT OF PROFIT SHARING FINANCING ON PROFITABILITY WITH NON PERFORMING FINANCING (NPF) AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE

    Financing is one of the banking products that plays a crucial role in enhancing a bank's profitability. However, besides its benefits, financing can also increase the risk of Non-Performing Financing (NPF), which may negatively impact profitability. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of profit-sharing financing on profitability with NPF as an intervening variable in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia during the 2015-2019 period. This study utilizes secondary data obtained from the annual reports of Islamic commercial banks. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 11 Islamic commercial banks over five years. Data analysis is conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that profit-sharing financing has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Additionally, profit-sharing financing also has a positive and significant effect on NPF. Furthermore, NPF has a negative and significant effect on profitability. These results suggest that while profit-sharing financing can boost a bank's profitability, the associated increase in NPF can be a risk factor that needs to be carefully managed. Therefore, bank management must implement effective risk mitigation strategies to balance financing growth and asset quality, ensuring optimal profitability

    Identifying Customer Segmentation and Persona of Amazon Customer: An Approach Using K-Means Clustering

    Technological developments have transformed traditional buying and selling practices into online transactions. Amazon, as one of the largest e-commerce platforms, continues to innovate to maintain its competitive advantage, offering a variety of products and services. This research uses the K-Means Clustering method to identify Amazon's customer segmentation and devise more effective marketing strategies. The analysis results show three main clusters: Price-Sensitive Browsers, Review-Driven Shoppers, and Quality Seekers. Cluster 2, which accounts for 47.49% of the total sample, is the most potential. Consumers in this cluster shop weekly, want better prices, pay attention to product reviews, and care about eco-friendly packaging. The right target segment for Amazon is women aged 24-26 who regularly shop weekly and care about environmental sustainability. By understanding consumer needs and preferences, Amazon can develop more effective marketing strategies, increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, and maintain its competitive advantage

    The Effect of Discipline and Work Environment on Employee Performance in Pelanja Sejahtera

    This study aims to analyze the influence of Discipline and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. Laksana Sejahtera. The study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach, using primary data obtained from 60 employees of PT. Laksana Sejahtera. The independent variables in this study are Discipline and Work Environment, while the dependent variable is Employee Performance. The results of the study indicate that, partially, Discipline has a significant influence on Employee Performance with a t- t-count value of 3.053 greater than the t-table (1.672) and a significance value of 0.003 <0.05. The Work Environment also partially has a significant influence on Employee Performance, with a t-count value of 5.631 greater than the t table and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously, Discipline and Work Environment together have a significant effect on Employee Performance, as evidenced by the F-count value of 23 greater than the F table and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. This indicates that both Discipline and Work Environment are important factors in improving Employee Performance at PT. Laksana Sejahtera
