Islamic Library: Pengadaan Pojok Perpustakaan dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Santri
Get PDFLaporan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini mengenai pengadaan Islamic Library di Masjid al-Munawwir desa Pakamban Laok. Islamic Library dikonsep dengan mini rak buku dan diletakkan di pojok dalam Masjid al-Munawwir. Dilatar belakangi oleh keprihatinan terhadap anak-anak desa Pakamban Laok yang gemar menghabiskan waktu bermain gadget, sehingga menyebabkan menurunnya minat baca dan kurang berkembangnya pengetahuan keagaamaan mereka. Program ini bekerjasama dengan Remaja Masjid al-Munawwir yang juga memiliki harapan bersama dalam meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak desa Pakamban Laok. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Asset Based Community Develoment (ABCD). Metode ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aset-aset yang dimiliki desa. Melalui metode ABCD, aset yang dikembangkan ialah aset komunitas yakni Remas. Bersama Remas penulis mengadakan program Islamic Library. Adapun proses pengadaan Islamic Library melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu musyawarah awal dengan kepala desa, perangkat desa, remas al-munawwir, pemilihan lokasi diletakkannya Islamic Library, membuat pamflet donasi buku, penyebaran pamflet baik secara offline maupun online, penyimpanan sebagian buku di rak perpustakaan sebagai simbol awal dan pengenalan diadakannya Islamic Library di Masjid al-Munawwir, penyimpanan seluruh buku di rak perpustakaan, sosialisasi ke masyarakat dan anak-anak desa pakamban laok, dan peresmian Islamic Library
Internalization of Character Education in Boarding Schools
Get PDFA boarding school is an Islamic educational institution that provides a boarding school system for students to live under the supervision of a Kyai. An interesting phenomenon in the internalization of character education in boarding schools is Qomaruddin Gresik. Its existence as the oldest country house on the lowest north coast of East Java served as a gateway for socio-cultural transmission, maintaining a custom boarding school even as the lowest levels of industrialization were in a pinch. This makes the study of the internalization of character education in boarding schools in Qomaruddin Gresik (East Java) interesting. This study uses a qualitative approach, research case study type, and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The concept of internalization in character education is an attempt to bring students back to moral values and the process of embodying them in everyday behavior. The implementation of internalization of character education in boarding schools Qomaruddin Gresik is carried out through the development of stages, strategies, approaches, and methods of the internalization process of values, as well as efforts to develop aspects that play an essential role in education. Effectiveness of Diagram I in Guided Inquiry on Students' Scientific Literacy in Salt Hydrolysis Material
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to determine the differences of science literacy that are taught using guided inquiry model with I diagram and guided inquiry on the subject of salt hydrolysis. Quasy experiment post-test only control group design was selected in this study. The science literacy on the subject of salt hydrolysis measure using a test. The test is multiple choice which has 9 questions. The results show that there are differences in science literacy on the subject of salt hydrolysis which is taught using a guided inquiry learning model with I diagram and guided inquiry. This difference was shown by the average score of science literacy. The score of the experimental group students at 53.47 higher than the control group of 44.16

The main focus includes Analysis of Tahfidz Program in Developing Students' Memorization Ability, Academic Achievement in Tahfidz Program, and Obstacles Experienced by Students in Memorizing Al-Qur'an. An in-depth analysis was applied to explore how the tahfidz program developed and improved its quality. The results illustrate that the tahfidz program can provide great benefits in improving the quality of students' memorization and academic achievement. Minimum Dowry Giving in Marriage in Sundanese Traditional Society of Sibanteng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency: Social Practices and Islamic Legal Review
Get PDFThis study aims to examine the practice of giving a minimum dowry in marriage in the Sundanese traditional community in Sibanteng Village, Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency, and examine it from the perspective of Islamic law. This phenomenon is interesting because amidst the socio-economic dynamics and developments in religious thought, the practice of giving a dowry with a very small value continues to be passed down from generation to generation. This study attempts to uncover the socio-cultural background, motives, and forms of actualization of the minimum dowry in marriage practices. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, bride and groom, religious leaders, and village officials, as well as direct observation of the wedding procession. This study also utilizes literature studies to analyze the views of classical and contemporary fiqh on the provisions of dowry in Islam. The results of the study indicate that the giving of a minimum dowry in the Sundanese traditional community of Sibanteng Village is not solely due to economic factors, but is a representation of local wisdom values that uphold simplicity, togetherness, and respect for customs. From the perspective of Islamic law, this practice is acceptable as long as it does not conflict with the principles of justice and mutual agreement between the two parties. Mahar in Islam is symbolic and its amount is not determined absolutely, as long as it fulfills the elements of willingness and clarity (ta‘yīn)
Full Online Teacher Training Service Scheme on Improving Pedagogical and Professional Competencies
No full textImplementing teacher teaching training services for Islamic Religious Education and Islamic School teachers in the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs ranks in 2021 was carried out with a complete online scheme. Implementing in-service teaching training aims to produce professional educators with academic, professional, personal, and social competencies. The difference in participants' conditions, such as different areas, technology tools mastery, and infrastructure availability, became a challenge for LPTK organizers. The article aims to measure the effectiveness of implementing teacher teaching training services in a whole online scheme at LPTK of the State Islamic University of Bukittinggi in 2023. This evaluation research was conducted in LPTK of the State Islamic University of Bukittinggi in 2023. The sample was selected by purposive technique with the number of samples 416 teachers, consisting of 266 Islamic Religious Education teachers and 150 Islamic School teachers. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average paedagogic and professional competencies achievement score was 86.90 points, with a high interpretation of achievements. No full textThe radicalism movement has become the main cause of the growth of terrorism cases in Indonesia. This movement has successfully spread to various educational institutions, one of which is pesantren (Islamic boarding schools). The entry of radicalism into pesantren is inseparable from the lack of internalization of religious moderation attitudes by pesantren leaders towards their students. The Kiai, through a prophetic leadership model, have a major role in internalizing religious moderation in their students through their influence in pesantren. This research aims to find the concept of prophetic leadership, prophetic leadership strategies in internalizing religious moderation, and the implications of prophetic leadership. This research uses a qualitative approach with a multisite study type. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data display, and making conclusions. The research results conclude that the concept of prophetic leadership is carried out through education, religious learning, and istiqamah (steadfastness) in worship. The strategy of internalizing religious moderation is carried out by exemplification, habituation, and understanding. The implications of prophetic leadership include strengthening the religious moderation of students, strengthening moderation education, and forming student morals
Uncovering the Dynamics: Exploring How Organizational Culture and Diversity Shape Organizational Effectiveness
No full textThis study aims to investigate the impact of organizational culture and diversity on organizational effectiveness in elementary schools in the XYZ district. Utilizing survey methods and path analysis, the research examines hypotheses regarding the relationships between organizational culture, diversity, and organizational effectiveness. A random sampling process was used to select a sample of 25 elementary schools. The research results show that there is a direct influence of organizational culture on organizational effectiveness, highlighting the importance of building and strengthening cultural values in the school environment. Additionally, there is a direct influence of diversity on organizational effectiveness, emphasizing the importance of managing and utilizing diversity as a positive resource. Research also finds a direct influence of organizational culture on diversity, indicating that a strong organizational culture can shape and influence the dynamics of diversity in elementary schools. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence organizational effectiveness at the basic level, as well as provide a foundation for the development of more effective management strategies in improving school performance

No full textAcademic service management is the management of all activities carried out in academics to provide services to students to achieve organizational goals. The research objective is to determine academic service management, and obstacles and improve the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Government Sciences, UIN Ar-Raniry. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach because this research aims to understand an interaction situation in academic services, namely to get an overview of academic service management at the Faculty of Social and Governmental Sciences (FISIP) UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis with data reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The results of the research, (1) academic service management is under Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and receives direct supervision from faculty leaders; (2) there are still problems such as unstable electricity, network errors, officer discipline; (3) efforts to improve the quality of academic services by trying to provide excellent service through recording attendance lists; serving registration according to procedures and without favoritism, printing KRS and KHS, giving directions, getting around so as not to clash with lecture schedules; dress neatly to facilitate the implementation of student exams
The Role of The Teacher in Promoting The Culture of Islamic Tolerance Among Tenth-Grade Students in Jordan From The Students’ Point of View
Get PDFThe study aims to identify the role of the teacher in promoting the Islamic culture of tolerance among tenth-grade students in Jordan by keeping in view the relationship of tolerance to the variables of gender and place of residence. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach has been used, in addition to using the questionnaire as a tool for the study which was applied to a sample consisting of two thousand male and female students studying in the second semester of the academic year (2023-2024). The results of the study show that twelve (12) items obtained a score of (very high), and sixteen (16) items obtained a score of (high). It has been observed that the role of the teacher in promoting the culture of tolerance among tenth-grade students was high on the scale as a whole, in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences between the students’ opinions according to the variables of gender, in favor of males and place of residence, and favor of students in rural areas and villages
