    Transforming of Moderate Character Education in Islamic Educational Institutions

    The study focuses on moderate character education in Islamic educational institutions, especially those based on Islamic organizations such as Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah, and Syarikat Islam. The study aims to reveal the moderate values of Islamic education institutions and their implementation in educational activities. The research uses a qualitative multisite approach, with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation. This study includes Islamic educational institutions based on religious organizations, namely Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah, and Syarikat Islam. Research locations are 1) Education and Social Foundation, Khadijah High School, East Java, as an Islamic educational institution based in Nahdlatul Ulama; 2) Muhammadiyah Boarding School, Yogyakarta; and 3) Cokroaminoto School, Surakarta, Central Java. The researchers performed data analysis using modified analytic induction analysis. Data analysis follows the stages of condensation, data display, verification, and conclusion. The results of this study show that each educational institution has moderate character values: 1) tawasuth; 2) tawazun; and 3) ta'addul/I'tidal. These values are embodied in learning to form a moderate Muslim character and become the mercy to the whole world (rahmatan lil alamin)

    The Use of Digital Dictionary Applications in Improving Understanding of Arabic Vocabulary: Case Study Of Arabic Language Education Students UINSU Medan

    Purpose - This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using a digital dictionary application in improving Arabic vocabulary comprehension among Arabic Language Education students at UINSU Medan. The main problem faced by students is the limitation in understanding and memorizing new vocabulary by using traditional learning methods, such as memorization, which has proven to be less effective in the long run. Design/methodology/approach - This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, observations and assessment tests of even semester students, namely semesters 2, 4, 6, and 8 of North Sumatra State Islamic University Medan who use digital dictionary applications. Findings/results – The results showed that the digital dictionary application significantly helped students in improving their understanding and mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Students reported that the app made it easier for them to find word meanings, understand synonyms, and apply vocabulary in a wider context. In addition, the interactive features offered by the app increased students' motivation to learn independently and interact more frequently with the Arabic language. Originality/value - This finding supports previous research which shows that a more contextualized and interactive learning approach can improve vocabulary retention and application in everyday communication.     Karo Regency is an area that has so many natural attractions. Loken Barn Resort at Pengambatan, Gajah Bobok Street, Merek District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province 22173, which is managed and developed by an owner of Loken Barn Resort. The purpose of this study is to analyze the owner's strategy in managing and developing the Loken Barn Resort location in Karo Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of research materials are key information and related information in this study. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques used with data collection, data simplification, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in managing and developing tourist destinations it is considered that it is still not optimal in the management and development of Loken Barn Resort attractions due to limited professional staff and human resources and the lack of budget to manage and develop Loken Barn Resort attractions

    Relationship Patterns of Central and Regional Governments in the Framework of Regional Autonomy: A Study of Regional Independence and Financial Dependence in Sikka District

    This research aims to conduct a study of the regional financial capacity of Sikka Regency within the framework of regional autonomy by referring to an analysis of regional financial independence and dependence. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research that aims to analyze the regional financial capacity of Sikka Regency based on the concept of regional financial independence and dependence. This research was conducted at the Sikka Regency Regional Government with an observation period from Fiscal Year 2018 to Fiscal Year 2022. The data used in the research was secondary data obtained from the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Sikka Regency in the form of Budget Realization Report Data. The data analysis technique uses ratio analysis of regional financial independence and dependence. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, the conclusion that can be outlined is that the financial capacity of the regional government of Sikka Regency is very low with an independence ratio of 11.66% and a regional financial dependency ratio of 78.21%, with an instructive relationship pattern. This provides an understanding that Sikka Regency's regional income comes from transfer funds provided by the central government which is greater than PAD

    Individuals, as entities living on this earth, have a variety of needs that must be fulfilled in their lives. Because of the diversity of needs to be met, individuals are directly involved in consumption activities to ensure fulfillment. Often, the purchase of a commodity is not based on a real need, but on behavior carried out solely to satisfy personal pleasure, thereby resulting in the individual becoming consumptive. The factors causing consumptive behavior are the use of digital payment and e-service quality. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of digital payment and e-service quality on consumptive behavior among Shopee users. The study used a quantitative approach with a comparative causal design. The study population of all students at vocational high school 1 Pedan amounted to 1,063, and samples of 291 students were counted with the Slovin formula with a degree of significance of 5%. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. The instruments used for questionnaires were shared through Google Forms. Data analysis techniques used multiple-linear regression. The results of the study showed that digital payment has a positive and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Shopee users, e-service quality has a positive and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Shopee users, and digital payment and e-service quality has a simultaneous and significant positive effect on the consumptive behavior among Shopee users. Taking into consideration the limitations of this study, future researchers are advised to explore additional variables that may affect consumptive behavior and broaden the sample size to obtain a more comprehensive overview

    This research aims to analyze the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at PT. Milenial Agri Nusantara. The company operates in the buying and selling of coffee beans for both domestic and international purposes. The research was conducted directly at PT. Millennial Agri Nusantara and the method used by the author to obtain respondents was through saturation sampling, which involves taking all available samples. The analysis in this research involves direct observation at PT. Milenial Agri Nusantara and interviews with respondents who are frequently involved in direct consumer interaction, namely the sales marketing team of PT. Millennial Agri Nusantara. Based on the observations and interviews, PT. Milenial Agri Nusantara applies Customer Relationship Management (CRM) using bonding, trust, empathy, and reciprocity methods, which can enhance customer loyalty. The implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) can provide benefits for both the company and its customers, making it crucial for the company to maintain a good relationship with its customers

    The Determinants of Extreme Poverty Among Working Households in East Java

    East Java Province is one of the provinces with an extremely poor population in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that explain the effect of poverty, specifically on working households, which are expected to provide insights into policies to alleviate extreme poverty in East Java. This study uses microdata from the 2022 National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) at the household level in East Java, which has 38 districts/cities. By using binary logistic regression analysis, the results show that gender, education, marital status, age generation, employment status, and business field of the head of the household have a significant effect on the chances of becoming an extremely poor household. Furthermore, special policies are needed related to demographic and employment factors at the household level in alleviating extreme poverty in East Java

    The Role of Physical, Social, and Financial Infrastructure on Economic Growth in Indonesia

    The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of physical, social, and financial infrastructure on economic growth in Indonesia during 2016-2020 using data from 34 provinces. The infrastructure index is compiled using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) technique to represent infrastructure indicators. Estimation in this study was carried out using the Panel Corrected Standard Error (PCSE) to improve the Fixed Effect Model which contains problems of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The results of this study show that physical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and financial infrastructure have a significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia. Physical and social infrastructure has a positive impact, while financial infrastructure has a negative impact

    The Influence of ESG Disclosures on Company Value In 5 ASEAN Countries

    This research explores the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance on company value in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines. The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange and adopting the ESG system from 2018 to 2022. Purposive sampling was used to filter companies that meet the criteria of 65 companies. The findings of this research show that the overall ESG performance of manufacturing companies has a significant positive influence on company value in these five countries. Environmental performance and corporate governance do not affect company value. Meanwhile, social performance influences company value. In addition, environmental performance, social performance, and corporate governance together with control variables also influence firm value positively

    Indonesia is a country with a very large market share for sharia economy-based products and services. The development of the halal product industry in Indonesia from year to year is increasingly significant. It cannot be denied that research related to halal products is always interesting to study and analyze more deeply, especially from the consumer's perspective. Therefore, this research aims to analyze how Income, Taste, and Price influence the Decision to Purchase Halal Products in North Sumatra Province with Interest as an Intervening Variable. This research is quantitative research with verification research methods. The sample taken was 100 Muslim participants who live in North Sumatra. provided that participants have purchased or are currently using halal products. This research has the results that Income, Taste, and Price partially influence interest in halal products in North Sumatra Province. Interest influences the decision to purchase halal products in North Sumatra Province. Income, tastes and prices both partially and simultaneously influence Halal Product Purchasing Decisions in North Sumatra Province with Interest as an Intervening Variable. Based on the analysis, it appears that the three factors, namely income, price, and people's tastes, have a significant impact on shaping consumer preferences. The relationship between income, product prices, and tastes creates complex dynamics that influence people's purchasing decisions for halal products
