    Get PDF
This study aims to analyze the influence of Sharia financial literacy and risk perception on the intention to use Shopee PayLater among Generation Z students at UIN Alauddin Makassar, as well as to evaluate the role of religiosity as a moderating variable in this relationship. A quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method was employed. The sample consisted of 210 respondents, determined based on Hair’s conservative sample size approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire covering the variables of Sharia financial literacy, risk perception, intention to use, and religiosity. The results showed that Sharia financial literacy had no significant effect on the intention to use Shopee PayLater. In contrast, risk perception had a significant negative effect, indicating that the higher the risk perception, the lower the intention to use the service. The interaction between religiosity and Sharia financial literacy, as well as between religiosity and risk perception, did not show a significant moderating effect on the intention to use Shopee PayLater. Therefore, religiosity does not moderate the relationship between Sharia financial literacy or risk perception and the intention to use Shopee PayLater. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development and deeper understanding of Sharia financial literacy, risk perception, intention to use, and religiosity in the context of using PayLater-based digital financial services

The popularity of live streaming features in the e-commerce industry is steadily increasing and has become one of the most favored marketing strategies, as it facilitates two-way communication between streamers and consumers. Through this interaction, consumers not only receive product information but also develop perceptions, enhance trust, and eventually form purchase intentions. This study aims to examine how communication elements in live streaming influence consumer trust in products and their intentions to make continuous purchases. The theoretical framework employed in this research is the Stimulus Organism Response (S-O-R) Theory. A quantitative research method was applied using purposive sampling, involving 186 respondents who had purchased Skintific products through Shopee’s live streaming feature. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and analyzed using SPSS and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). This study investigated six main variables: responsiveness, professionalism, informativeness, personalization, product trust, and continuous purchase intention. The results revealed that responsiveness, professionalism, and informativeness had positive effects on product trust. Furthermore, product trust was found to have a significant and positive impact on continuous purchase intention. Conversely, personalization did not show a meaningful effect on either product trust or purchase intention

    Get PDF
This study aims to address this gap by analyzing the effect of capital structure, liquidity, and profitability on firm value, with dividend policy as a mediating variable, focusing on manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2023 and 2024. This quantitative study uses secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and official company websites. The data consist of financial statements from manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during 2023–2024. Samples were selected through purposive sampling with these criteria: listed during 2023–2024, distributed dividends, and had accessible financial reports. Based on the analysis of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023–2024, capital structure, liquidity, and profitability each significantly affect dividend policy, where sound capital structure, strong liquidity, and high profitability support greater dividend distribution. Liquidity and profitability also have a direct positive impact on firm value, while capital structure negatively affects it due to financial risk. Dividend policy significantly enhances firm value by signaling stability to investors. Furthermore, dividend policy mediates the relationship between liquidity and firm value, but it does not mediate the effects of capital structure or profitability on firm value

    Get PDF
This research was conducted to review the influence of live streaming, affiliate marketing, and fear of missing out on purchasing decisions for TikTok Shop users in Yogyakarta City. This research applies a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods. Data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who had shopping experience at TikTok Shop. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that partially the live streaming and affiliate marketing variables had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, while the fear of missing out did not show a significant effect. However, the three variables simultaneously proved to have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. A total of 56.9% of the variation in purchasing decisions was explained by the three variables, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside the model. This finding indicates that marketing strategies based on visual content and personalized approaches, such as live streaming and affiliate marketing, are more effective in influencing consumer decisions than emotional pressures such as fear of missing out. Therefore, the results of this research can be taken into consideration for businesses in developing more suitable promotional strategies on the TikTok Shop platform
