No full textInternational audienceNotre communication s’intéresse aux transformations pédagogiques de l’enseignement supérieur du point de vue des modalités d’évaluation qui ont pour vocation à être questionnées, repensées et accompagnées dans un contexte de massification et de démocratisation de l’université. Notre approche de l’évaluation par le prisme de la théorie anthropologique du didactique (TAD) tient compte et fait émerger différents éléments du système sociétal, institutionnel/universitaire, pédagogique et disciplinaire (ainsi que leurs relations et interdépendances) pouvant contribuer – favorablement ou non – au passage au contrôle continu intégral (CCI) à l’échelle d’une faculté de sciences humaines et sociales (SHS) en France. La mise en évidence de ces éléments permet tout à la fois d’interroger les pratiques pédagogiques actuelles et d’envisager des possibles pour initier et développer des transformations de l’enseignement supérieur du point de vue de l’évaluation

No full textInternational audienceThe multi-professional aspect of healthcare teams means that actors need to understand each other and use a common lexical repertoire. In this article, we question the links between the group process and language space. We study how the lexicon represents both a landmark for the search for meaning and a lair for the expression of affects. We draw on two disciplinary approaches, anthropology and psychodynamics, for which the study of interactions demonstrates that language space modulates group dynamics and is modified by them. The liminal spaces between disciplines constitute fertile zones for reflexivity in institutions. The marine metaphor illustrates the stability of a common base and the ebb and flow of group interactions.El carácter multiprofesional de los equipos de asistencia sanitaria exige que los miembros se entiendan entre sí y utilicen un repertorio léxico común. En este artículo examinamos los vínculos entre el proceso de grupo y el espacio lingüístico. Estudiamos cómo el léxico representa tanto un punto de referencia para la búsqueda de significado como una guarida para la expresión de afectos. Nos basamos en dos perspectivas disciplinarias, la antropología y la psicodinámica, para las que el estudio de las interacciones demuestra que el espacio lingüístico modula las dinámicas de grupo y es también modificado por ellas. Los espacios liminales entre disciplinas constituyen zonas fértiles para la reflexividad en las instituciones. La metáfora marina ilustra la estabilidad de una base común y el flujo y reflujo de las interacciones grupales.Le caractère pluriprofessionnel des équipes intervenant dans le champ de la santé implique un enjeu d’intercompréhension des acteur·rices et l’usage d’un répertoire lexical commun. Dans cet article, nous questionnons les liens entre processus groupal et espace langagier. Nous étudions en quoi le lexique représente à la fois un repère pour la quête de sens et un repaire, un refuge, pour l’expression des affects. Face au fantôme : le cinéma documentaire à l’épreuve de la mémoire familiale
No full textInternational audienceNombreux, nombreuses sont les cinéastes documentaristes qui se tournent vers leur histoire personnelle en s’attachant plus précisément aux disparu·es. Cette contribution voudrait ainsi s’intéresser à la manière dont trois films en particulier traitent du fantôme qui hante la mémoire familiale. "Un’ora sola ti vorrei" (2002) d’Alina Marazzi, "Histoire d’un secret" (2003) de Mariana Otero et "Carré 35" (2017) d’Éric Caravaca ont en commun des récits documentaires étroitement liés à la mort et c’est à ce titre que ces œuvres appréhendent l’absence comme l’enjeu des conduites narratives et des stratégies figuratives qu’elles inventent. De manière plus ou moins affirmée, se déploie ainsi une enquête cinématographique guidée par la découverte et l’exploration d’un trouble, d’un trauma ou d’un secret familial. Innervée par les traces du passé, la création cinématographique investit le manque et le non-dit comme autant les angles morts d’une mémoire familiale où naissent et séjournent les fantômes. Le cinéma est le moyen de raconter ce qui, a été, demande à être là et reste pourtant enfoui. Les réquisitions cinématographiques du fantôme ont partie liée avec cette reconquête de la mémoire qui, dans les trois ghost documentaries retenus, implique trois types d’articulations : celle de l’écriture et de la voix, de la peinture et du corps, de la photographie et du visage. Ce sont-là les mouvements qui rythment cette étude

No full textInternational audienceIn 2021, a research-creation project was initiated at ENSASE with several objectives: to contribute to the exploration of the significance of industrial heritage in the Anthropocene; to provide students with an alternative approach to co-producing knowledge, grounded in “what affects them”; to envision, through an exhibition at the 2022 Design Biennale “Bifurcations,” a series of artworks in dialogue with the raw materials of the scenography at the Parc Musée de la Mine Couriot; and to engage in multidisciplinary activities within the ARTS Institute (Jean Monnet University). Thus, the SubLimis project was born.The aim of this contribution is to examine the various agentivities involved in this research-creation process: those related to the research and creation issues; the intentionality behind the act of knowledge production through creative engagement; the materialities and entities present throughout the process, and their interrelations; and finally, the agentivities of research-creation, encompassing not only the research and teaching aspects but also the role of creative work and creation in the face of the current state of the world.En 2021, l'ENSASE a piloté une recherche-création, SubLimis avec pour objectifs principaux de: participer d'une question de recherche autour du sens de l'héritage industriel à l'âge de l'Anthropocène ; proposer aux étudiant.es une autre manière de co-produire de la connaissance en partant de « ce qui les affectent » ; imaginer, par une exposition dans le cadre de la Biennale Design 2022 « Bifurcations », une série d'oeuvres dialoguant avec le matériau premier de la scénographie du Parc Musée de la Mine Couriot ; mener une activité pluridisciplinaire dans le cadre de l'Institut ARTS (Université Jean Monnet). Vers une Extraction Automatique de Structures Spatiales Statiques pour le Français: Application au corpus parallèle EN80jours
No full textInternational audienceBasic Locative Structures (BLCs) have long served as a controlled framework for investigating space in language and cognition. Recently, (Viechnicki et al., 2024) proposed an automatic BLC extraction method from parallel corpora using English as the pivot language. In this study, we adapt and apply this methodology to the EN80Jours parallel corpus, with French serving as the pivot language. By combining syntactic and lexical pattern searches with few-shot learning using Pretrained Language Models to filter for spatial expressions, we achieve precise retrieval of a refined set of locative constructions. Finally, we make initial observations of the inter-linguistic variability of spatial markers within BLCs by aligning French spatial markers with their German and English counterparts. This preliminary analysis highlights challenges in aligning BLCs across languages and suggests the need for further exploration of linguistic variations and the integration of lexical rules to refine classification
Contextes et 'qualité des temps' : le cas Machiavel
No full textInternational audience"Our starting point is the constant contextualisation of readings of Machiavelli. By way of illustration, we begin with a number of historical debates on the presence of context in the history of the uses of Machiavelli’s texts: anti-Machiavellianism, oblique and republican readings of Machiavelli from the 16th to the 19th centuries, the double focus of Antonio Gramsci’s reading of Machiavelli, and the contextualist approach of Pocock and Skinner. We then develop a philological approach that analyses the context in the light of the strictly Machiavellian notion of the “quality of the times” (qualità dei tempi). This approach, which we call “political philology”, studies the different lives of the text in order to understand how and why it came into being, what new things it brings and what effects it may have had on history.""Nous partons du constat de la constante contextualisation des lectures de Machiavel. Nous abordons dans un premier temps, à titre d’illustrations, plusieurs débats historiques sur la présence du contexte dans l’histoire des usages des textes de Machiavel : anti-machiavélismes, lectures obliques et républicaines de Machiavel du XVIe au XIXe siècle, double focalisation de la lecture de Machiavel par Antonio Gramsci, approches contextualistes de Pocock et Skinner. Puis nous développons une approche philologique qui analyse le contexte à la lumière de la notion strictement machiavélienne de « qualité des temps » (qualità dei tempi). Landscape coevolution of human-geomorphic system in northern Kyûshû (Japan) induced by the July 2017 heavy rainfall
No full textInternational audienceOn 5-6 July 2017, during the rainy season, heavy rainfall battered northern Kyûshû (Japan), breaking previous records, with 516mm in 24 hours and a maximum intensity of 129.5 mm/h at the Asakura station in the lowlands. In mountainous areas, the total rainfall was between 600 and 800mm in 24 hours. As a result, hundreds of landslides were triggered, mobilizing large quantities of sediment and driftwood, with a regional estimation of respectively 10 million and 210 000 cubic meters (KRDB, 2017). These floods caused 42 casualties and extensive material damage, as well as multi-meters deposits in several valley bottoms. This is a «Low Frequency / High Magnitude» (LFHM) event with an estimated probability of occurrence of 1/200 (KRDB, 2017).This event produced major landscape changes mainly linked to the triggering of landslides, which constitute a sudden and massive opening of sedimentary sources whose contribution to the sediment cascade is 1) facilitated by the very high general sediment connectivity and 2) goes beyond the 2017 event.To mitigate the vulnerability of populations, Japan has undertaken major countermeasures works to stabilize slopes and develop rivers (check dams, sedimentation basins, recalibration), relying heavily on engineering and concrete. The outcome is profound geomorphological changes, reinforced by human intervention through the development and management of these hydrosystems, which modify 1) the sediment cascade and the connectivity settings from a structural and process-based perspective and 2) the specific socio-ecological system of these rural mountain areas called «Satoyama» (Indrawan et al., 2014). The main example is the change of function of areas, changing from a living space with agricultural production area to a sedimentary storage area. Therefore, these elements illustrate a complex process-response feedback loop in a coupled humain-geomorphic system (Poeppl et al., 2017).In a climate change context, heavy rainfall events are expected to increase, including in East Asia and the Japanese archipelago (MEXT JMA, 2020; MLIT, 2020). Related hazards such rapid-moving landslide is predicted to increase along with the population exposed to landslide risk (Gariano and Guzzetti, 2016).This raises the question of the relaxation time of geomorphological systems between two disturbance phenomena like LFHM events, in a context of sometimes increased sensitivity. The torrential rain of 10 July 2023 is a significant example in our case, as it was the 2nd record for maximum hourly intensity with 72.5 mm/h and third for cumulative rainfall over 24 hours with 290.5mm (behind 2018 with 295.5mm) (JMA, 2024). The newly-built countermeasures were therefore put to the test and proved their effectiveness overall, but the increased sensitivity of these systems combined with the magnitude of the 2023 LFHM event exceeded the countermeasure system's absorption capacity calibrated for a specific return period. As a result, most of the check dams have been filled up massively, leading to flooding and massive sediment deposits in several valley bottoms, which provides some insight into the real extent of human-induced disturbance to the sediment cascade
