    Contribution to the study of factors influencing the decision to finance business creation projects: case of the wilaya of Bejaia

    The purpose of this study is to explain the decision to finance business creation projects through a sample of 20 funders located in the wilaya of Bejaia. The results proved the statistical significance of six variables, among thirteen proposed. These are the experience, the relationship, the financial projections, the type of funding, the amount of funding and the guarantees. Our recommendations relate to institutional, regulatory and technical considerations. L’objectif de cette étude est d’expliquer la décision de financement de projets d’entreprises à travers un échantillon de 20 bailleurs de fonds situés dans la wilaya de Bejaia. Les résultats ont prouvé la significativité statistique de six variables, parmi treize proposées. Il s’agit de l’expérience, de la relation, des projections financières, du type du financement, du montant du financement et des garanties. Nos recommandations portent sur des considérations à la fois institutionnelles, réglementaires et techniques

    جاءت هذه الورقة البحثية لتبيان أثر التمكين على الأداء الوظيفي للعاملين بشركة نفطال فرع ولاية المدية-، حيث تم التطرق إلى تحديد المفاهيم النظرية حول تمكين العاملين وكذلك أهم الأبعاد التي يتضمنها، كما أشرنا إلى الأداء الوظيفي والمفاهيم المتعلقة به، أما الجانب التطبيقي فقد تم الاعتماد على الاستبانة لجمع البيانات . وتوصلت الدراسة لعدد من النتائج أهمها وجود أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية لتمكين العاملين في تحسين الأداء الوظيفي للعمال في المؤسسة الاقتصادية المدروسة. This research paper came to show the effect of empowerment on the job performance of employees, where it was addressed to define theoretical concepts about the empowerment of workers, and we also referred job performance As for the applied side, the questionnaire was relied on to collect data. The study reached a number of results, the most important is the presence of a statistically significant effect to enable workers to improve the job performance

    هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على تصورات العمال الإداريين بكلیات جامعة بسكرة نحو واقع التمكین الإداري بأبعاده المختلفة، استخدم في التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات عدة أساليب منها مقاييس الإحصاء الوصفي واختبار للعينة الواحدة (One Sample T- test ) وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى توفر التمكين الإداري بالجامعة محل الدراسة جاء متوسطا، كما أوصت الدراسة بإتاحة الفرصة لمشاركة القيادات الإدارية في صنع القرارات. This study aimed to identify the perceptions of employees in the faculties of the Biskra University towards the reality of empowerment in its various dimensions, descriptive statistical measures and T-test for analysis data. The study concluded that the level of administrative empowerment in the University under study was moderate, and the study recommended providing the opportunity for the participation of administrative leaders in decision-making

    This study aims to highlight the importance and effectiveness of using the Altman and Sherrod models in predicting the financial failure of Saidal institution during the period 2017-2020 to give early warning in disclosing the likelihood of bankruptcy. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the two models were applied based on the institution's financial statements and the most important financial indicators. Thus, the study found that the two models are effective in predicting the future financial failure of Saidal institution during the period studied, 100% is needed

    International Financial Reporting Standard and Performance of Quoted Manufacturing Firms in Nigeria

    The study examines the effect of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) on performance of quoted manufacturing firms in Nigeria. Secondary source of data was employed through which data were collected from annual report of the selected firms. The study made use of panel data regression. The study covers the period of twelve years from 2011 to 2022 and purposive sampling technique was used to select thirteen consumer goods firms that are constantly trading on the Nigerian Group of Exchange. The study found that IFRS adoption has negative and insignificant effect on financial performance of manufacturing companies in Nigeria. The explanation for this could be as a result of significant adoption cost which will invariably affect the financial performance of the manufacturing companies. The study concluded that the cost of introducing IFRS should be reduced in order to enhance performance of quoted manufacturing firm. In view of this, the study recommends that the management of consumer goods manufacturing firm should consider the cost of implementation and fluctuation in reported values due to change in valuation

    Socioemotional wealth and internal audit in family firms: trade-off between economic and non-economic goals

    The paper considers that the internal auditing role in family firms is unique owing to the overlap and ambiguity of roles between the family and the firm. Besides, family firms’ characteristics seem to influence the internal audit role. In this context, internal auditing must effectively deal with the factors leading to conflict in family firms.The study aims to emphasize the interpretation of the internal audit role in family businesses, and the article suggests a specific role for the internal audit that is the trade-off between economic aspirations and socioemotional wealth dimensions.In order to achieve this objective, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to internal auditors, chief financial officers, and certified public accountants of Algerian family businesses. The results reveal that the cognitive role had the highest mean score (3.04), followed by the trade-off between economic and non-economic goals (2.79) and the disciplinary role (2.64)
