Penggunaan Teknologi Berbasis RFID untuk Security System di Perpustakaan IAIN Kediri
Full text linkThe basis of the research is an indication that there are many library collections that are not found on the shelves but are listed in the database. The lost of this collections may be due to the release of the library collection without going through the prescribed procedures. So it needs to be built a security system that is integrated with the library database to protect library collections. RFID is a wireless cable-based communication technology that allows users to be able to identify an object by a chip / tag using a special reader. RFID can be used as an alternative to library system security devices to protect library collections. One of the advantages of RFID technology is the ability to scan objects that are not attached to an RFID reader. RFID can scan objects that have tags attached even if they are blocked by other objects. RFID technology is very likely to be applied in libraries and integrated with library software based on the assumption that RFID has been used in the retail sector, the process is almost the same as the system in the library. In addition, open source library software is very likely to be developed to support RFID-based security systems. This is because the data stored in RFID tags is text-based characters that can be stored in the database
Pemanfaatan Zotero dalam Penyusunan Karya Tulis Ilmiah Pustakawan
No full textIn addition to provide excellent service, a librarian should also be able to pour ideas in writing. Writing scientific papers has become a mandatory duty for librarians not only when dealing with job promotion. It is a challenging task since one need to do preparation and have a focus in writing. Apart from having ideas and themes in the study, librarians need to be supported by quality reference materials. In this case, Zotero became the best solution to assist librarians when preparing scientific works. It helps them to obtain quality reference materials as well as to manage the references. Zotero’s ease of installation and its data management features make the software easier to operate and therefore highly recommended to be used for managing citations

Library is an important part of a college. If education and teaching are likened to the heart then the library is the brain that holds valuable memories. One of the functions of libraries in this era of information technology is as Institutional Repository (IR). Institutional Repository (IR) is a library service in collecting, managing, disseminating and preserving scientific work of college academic community. The results of scientific work is managed in digital form to be reused in supporting academic activities. The University Library of Lampung as a Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of universities, has diverse tasks include: collection development, processing, maintenance of the collection, service and library administration. Digital content service is one kind of visitor service in searching information collection of scientific papers in digital format of the work of the University of Lampung academic community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collecting technique through observation and literature study. The results obtained are digital content service collection of scientific papers at the University Library of Lampung can be accessed online, open (open access) and fulltext at address: http: // digilib.unila.ac.id. The open access service of this collection of scientific papers as the implementation at the University Library of Lampung in providing information up to date and relevant to support learning activities, research and community service.

ABSTRAK
Perpustakaan merupakan bagian penting dari sebuah perguruan tinggi. Apabila pendidikan dan pengajaran diibaratkan sebagai jantung maka perpustakaan merupakan otak yang menyimpan ingatan berharga. Salah satu fungsi perpustakaan pada era teknologi informasi ini adalah sebagai Institutional Repository (IR). Institusional Repository (IR) merupakan layanan perpustakaan dalam mengumpulkan, mengelola, menyebarkan dan melestarikan karya ilmiah civitas akademika perguruan tinggi. Hasil karya ilmiah tersebut dikelola dalam bentuk digital untuk dimanfaatkan kembali dalam menunjang kegiatan akademik. Perpustakaan Unila sebagai sebuah Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) perguruan tinggi, memiliki tugas yang beragam, meliputi : pengembangan koleksi, pengolahan, perawatan koleksi, pelayanan serta melaksanakan administrasi perpustakaan. Layanan digital content merupakan salah satu jenis layanan pengunjung dalam penelusuran informasi koleksi karya ilmiah dalam format digital hasil karya civitas akademika Universitas Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumnpulan data melalui observasi dan studi literatur. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah layanan digital content koleksi karya ilmiah di Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung dapat diakses secara online, terbuka (open access) dan fulltext di alamat : http :// digilib.unila.ac.id. Layanan open aksses koleksi karya ilmiah ini sebagai implementasi Perpustakaan Universitas Lampung dalam menyediakan informasi yang up to date dan relevan untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

No full textCopyright is an exclusive right (morally and economically) automatically owned by the creator, as a treasure of the minds of science, art, and literature. The development of science and technology affects the protection and legal certainty for the creator. This means that the creators and creators have competence, considering Indonesia has ratified the world copyright agreement with the Presidential Decree No.19 of 1997. Consequently there is an obligation to enact Law No.28 of 2014. In Indonesia, copyright issues originally arranged in Auteursweet 1912 (Undang invited the rights of authors 1912), called "author rights", as a legal product of the Dutch government. Indonesia in 1982 made the Act of Copyright No. 6 of 1982, which has been amended four times, the last Law No.28 of 2014. The methodology in this paper uses a literature study aimed at increasing the insight of librarians in the field of intellectual work produced by the creators. Advances in information technology presents opportunities for libraries to flourish, including on the type of collection. The digital collection comes as an alignment from a pre-existing print collection. The abundance of digital resources in libraries, either from purchases, local content, or cooperation results can be maximally utilized if there is knowledge. The process of transferring that knowledge will impact on a skill in utilizing knowledge resources. Web-based literacy training is a real application in college. How to transfer knowledge to earth and leverage thousands of digital collections that have been collected into the library collection. This web-based information literacy training is relevant to the characteristics of today's digital users who fall into the native digital category. How to learn this generation accustomed to fast paced and practical. This generation is very familiar with the technological sophistication. The task of librarians in this training activity is to direct the user to become a smart academic community in choosing, sorting and utilizing the flood of information resources on the internet. The success of this activity is supported by several factors, including: policies from stakeholders, librarian readiness, IT support, promotion. Hope with this web-based literacy training it is easier for visitors to get information relevant. So they can access, retrieve, answer scientifically.

Pustakawan Melawan Hoax
No full textHoax or fake information has destabilized the Indonesian state security Thus it is necessary to fight hoax librarian's role in various ways. Many cases of false news that raises concerns, noise can even be casualties. Various kinds of issues are always there every second. It's disrupting our lives. The growing issue may gradually change our perspective on things. For example, the problem of terrorism is always associated with Muslims. When in fact terrorizing actions that anyone can do not just Muslims alone. News packed nicely mixed and spiced with elements lies with the intention of attract people to want to read. Most of the media using the hoax is the bait used to make the topics to be warm to be discussed. Literature method used by the author to read the information developed in cyberspace and print media around the issue of a hoax. This paper is expected to motivate the librarians throughout Indonesia to simultaneously fight the hoax in their respective agencies and in the environment in which they live and society. Additionally hope the authors is that the librarian could be a model society not to be provoked by the hoax and the library as a gateway healthy and free hoax information. Action against hoax should we gaungkan at every opportunity. 
Layanan data dan informasi dalam rangka meningkatkan layanan di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi

The university libraries have a group of the users to be served such as: 1) university leaders 2) lecturers 3) student 4) others (administratif staff and external readers). So far, the university library services only focus student and lecturer, focusing on circulation services and provide documents which is need by users, while the group of leaders has not been served well their information needs. Fankly speaking, the library can play a role in providing information services to the group of leaders to support the decision-making and daily operational tasks. The information that could be given to the group of leaders is the result of data and information analysis from the library collections such as student report, thesis, dissertation and research report. This study will discuss about the library opportunities to perform data and information analysis. Mapping the ability or competence of the librarians that must be mastered in order to be able to undertake that activity that is to serve the group of university leader will be analyzed. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Interview will be conducted to informant. Determination of informants will be done by snowball sampling. Interview results will be analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations to librarian leaders and librarians throughout the university library
