    Digital Communication Management Bandung City Government in Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Recovery in Bandung City

    The COVID-19 pandemic has occurred in the world since 2020, not only in Indonesia but also in all countries in the world. The economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been felt by the Indonesian people since the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) on March 15, 2020. Community activities are forced to be carried out through digital transformation in services, transactions and work, for example the Bandung City Government. This research was conducted to determine the Digital Communication Management of the Bandung City Government in an inclusive and sustainable Economic Recovery in Bandung City. The object of this research is the Bekasi City Government. This study uses the method of Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. Having the concept of phenomenology as a scientific method that does not start with doubt, direction, and the truth of an experience. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study use data reduction, data display, and verification of Miles and Huberman. Based on the Data Findings, Data Results and Discussions that the researchers have submitted, it can be concluded that the Bandung City Government has implemented Digital Communication Management in helping inclusive and sustainable economic recovery by through digital platforms, it is more helpful for small entrepreneurs, especially the current focus on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. One of them is Digital Transformation by continuing to encourage the implementation of smart cities through digital transformation in various aspects of public services

    Relationship Analysis of Employee Human Resources Quality and National Achievement Center Service Performance in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0

    As a company, Puspresnas always works to give the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology the best advice and technical support possible. The achievement of exceptional and maximum service to students and educational institutions throughout Indonesia is the Puspresnas' vision for the future. Human resources that can adapt and are proficient in using technology in the workplace are needed in the age of the fourth industrial revolution. This study attempts to examine the relationship between employee service performance in terms of competence, adaptation, and skills. This study employs a quantitative methodology and questionnaires to collect data from Puspresnas personnel. According to the findings, the coefficient value for the constant is not significant, and the constant values for the Competence, Adaptation, and Skills variables are, respectively, 0.416, 0.354, and 0.224. The three independent factors have a positive effect on employee service performance, as shown by the regression equation for service performance above. According to the study's findings, enhancing competence, adaptability, and abilities can improve employee service performance.  According to the study's findings, employees' competence, adaptability, and talents were highly correlated with how well they provided customer service at Puspresnas during the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Employees must get recurrent training as we transition to an entirely digital era so they can keep up with the ever-increasing pace of technological advancement

    The visual beauty of entertainment actors is the main attraction for Korean popular culture products, especially beauty trends. Korean wave through beauty products offers a new discourse that beauty is not only absolute for the female but also represented through the male body. This is interesting to research because the preference for consumption patterns of aesthetic culture among Korean fans is not only for women, male fans are also objects of the Korean beauty product market. Interviews were conducted with Korean fans in Bandung, who are members of the Hansamo community and members of the cover dance by face-to-face. The results showed that South Korea successfully marketed beauty products through the perfect visual quality of Korean celebrities, instant branding, pop-up stores with attractive themes, and the provision of free testers. Korean Wave succeeded in utilizing the desire of Korean fans to consume Korean beauty products to fulfill their prestige in achieving the perfect face, fashion (style), and appearance like their idol

    The image of the Kesawan area is considered unsuitable as a place for culinary businesses, so it is very necessary to revitalize the area as one of the drivers for the development of the Medan city area. The revitalization carried out specifically in the MSME area in the food and beverage sector is targeted to be able to attract visitors from both inside and outside the city. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of revitalization, use of technology and human resource (HR) competency on MSME income. The method used is a quantitative approach and data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this research show that the variables of revitalization, use of technology and human resource competence have an influence on increasing MSME income after being hit by Covid-19

    The Influence of on the Academic Procrastination of Community Science Polytechnic Cadents

    Starting from excessive use of smartphones and the phenomenon of violations of cadet life regulations regarding careless use of smartphones, the author raised this issue into a scientific article. This article uses quantitative research methods with a population of 345 cadets and a sample of 181 cadets of the 55th Class of Correctional Science Polytechnic using calculations from the Krejci and Morgan sample table. This article finds that there is an influence of Smartphone Addiction on the Academic Procrastination of Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets. This shows that the more the quality of Smartphone Addiction Cadets increases, the level of Academic Procrastination of the Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets will also increase. From the results of the Coefficient Test (R2), it is known that the influence of Smartphone Addiction on the Academic Procrastination of Correctional Science Polytechnic Cadets has a percentage of 11.7% and 88.3% is influenced by factors other than Smartphone Addiction. Some of the suggestions given by the author are: Educational Programs on Healthy Smartphone Use, Development of Learning Support Applications, Time Management Skills Workshops, Development of a Supportive Learning Environment, Data Collection and Advanced Research, Collaboration with other institutions, and Tightening Enforcement of Disciplinary Punishments Regarding Use Smartphones.     Evaluation Basic Online Training Program for Character-Building of Transportation Cadets at Indonesian Aviation School Banyuwangi

    The base period of character formation activities for transportation cadets is called "MADATUKAR" a mandatory program for new cadets (juniors) who will enter educational institutions within the Human Resource Development Agency of Ministry of Transportation Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to understand the effectiveness of MADATUKAR program at the Banyuwangi Indonesian Aviation School (APIB). This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data analysis includes the stages of reduction, presentation, and verification. The results show that character building through the MADATUKAR program is most important for cadets. Characters formed are religious, responsible, disciplined, social care, hard work, independence, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, care for the environment, communication, and respect for achievement. Character building through 3 stages; planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meanwhile, the method used is the method of internalization, habituation, exemplary, and discipline coaching. In the process, the character formation of cadets is influenced by internal factors (instinct and will) and external factors (education and environment)

    Savings and Investment Patterns of Indonesian Society: An Analysis of Household Financial Behavior

    The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive picture of financial behaviors in this dynamic socioeconomic context by examining the saving and investment habits of Indonesian households. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative survey data with qualitative material obtained through in-depth interviews. The demographic profile of the sample demonstrates a broad range of representation in terms of age groups, income levels, levels of education attained, and employment circumstances. Quantitative analyses reveal that a significant portion of participants save on a regular basis, with a variety of investment portfolios and savings vehicles that they prefer. Relationships between socioeconomic factors, such as education level and income, provide crucial information about what motivates people to make financial decisions. The findings demonstrate the important roles that behavioral variables, cultural influences, and risk perceptions all have in shaping household financial decisions. The study's conclusions, which highlight the need of targeted financial education programs and culturally sensitive interventions, can be helpful to policymakers, financial institutions, and educators alike. Overall, this study broadens our knowledge of household financial behavior and offers data that Indonesia can utilize to create policies that promote economic empowerment and financial resilience

    The Effect of Accrual Earnings Management, Real Earnings Management, and Institutional Ownership on Leverage

    The purpose of this research is to provide empirical evidence on the influence of accrual and real-based earnings management and institutional ownership on leverage. The dependent variable is leverage. The independent variables are accrual earnings management (DAC), real earnings management (CFO, PROD, DISEXP), and institutional ownership. This research uses multiple linear regression. The sample used is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and has an ESG score from 2018-2022.  The sample for this research was selected using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 120 observation data. The results of this research show that earnings management using 4 proxies, namely accrued earnings management (DAC) and real earnings management (CFO, PROD, DISEXP) has a significant influence on leverage. Institutional ownership does not have a significant effect on leverage. The implications of this research are very large because it provides support for the application of agency theory. However, it is crucial to highlight that the scope of this research is confined to Indonesian manufacturing enterprises, therefore the conclusions may not be immediately transferable to other nations

    The Existence of Women's Entrepreneurship in the VUCA Era: Analyzing The Role of Socio-Cultural Support System and Financing on MSMEs

    The challenge for MSMEs in the digital era is the emergence of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity or VUCA, so that the role of socio-cultural support systems and relevant financing is needed for MSMEs, especially those based on women's entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze how the role of the socio-cultural support system and financing in the development of women entrepreneurship-based MSMEs. This research is quantitative with survey method. Research data were collected through interviews; focus group discussions (FGDs); and surveys of respondents of women entrepreneurship-based MSMEs. Based on the research results, it is known that women entrepreneurship MSMEs can face the VUCA era through the role of the socio-cultural support system, especially dimension_a and dimension_b in developing their business. Then, there is also the role of the financing support system, namely dimension_a and dimension_b. The existence of MSME development supported by the role of the socio-cultural support system and financing will improve the economic conditions of MSME actors in a sustainable manner, even in the VUCA era
