Balance Scorecard Analysis of Increasing MSME Income During the Covid 19 Pandemic in Samosir District
Get PDFMicro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the lifeblood of the regional and national economy. In general, MSMEs in the national economy have the following roles: (1) as the main actors in economic activities, (2) the largest provider of employment, (3) important players in local economic development and community empowerment, (4) creating new markets and sources of innovation, and (5) its contribution to the balance of payments. In addition, MSMEs also have an important role, especially in the perspective of employment opportunities and sources of income for the poor, income distribution and poverty reduction, and MSMEs also play a role in rural economic development. The existence of the 2019 Coronavirus disease (Covid 19 pandemic) at the end of 2019 became an international problem, including in Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic has had economic, social, and and politics in almost all countries, including Indonesia. The economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has also been felt by the MSME sector in Samosir Regency. The impact caused by this pandemic includes 5 aspects, namely 1) Sales aspects. The average decline in MSME sales is 61%, 2) Aspects of operating profit. The average decrease in operating profit is 62%, 3) Capital aspect. The number of MSMEs experiencing capital problems increased to 71.4%, 4) Aspects of the number of employees. In this aspect, MSMEs reduced the number of employees by 22%, and 5) Aspects of the ability to pay bank installments. Almost all MSME actors (especially micro-enterprises) experience problems in carrying out their obligations to banks. This study also found that MSME actors in Samosir Regency had implemented an online sales strategy, although not all. The number of MSMEs that carry out online strategies has increased during the Covid 19. The survival ability of MSMEs that sell online is stronger than MSMEs that only sell offline
How Do Santri, Local Wisdom, and Digital Transformation Affect Community Empowerment?
Get PDFSantri is an unique person in a various economic activities. In the mix of local wisdom that is thick with spiritual values and wrapped in the dynamics of the use of digital technology, students are seen as having a real influence in realizing community empowerment in the economic field. This article aims to describe the role of santri through local wisdom and the use of digital technology in creating community empowerment. To get accurate and up-to-date information, observations and collect information has done by interviewed to santri about their strategies in dealing with economic problems in the regency as well as tips on utilizing digital technology. Furthermore, the information is checked with primary sources in the form of community members to measure the effectiveness of the role of the santri. The analysis and discussion of the data was carried out qualitatively with the phenomenological approach of the Madurese community. The research findings in this article show that there is a collaboration of the attitude and mentality of students in the midst of society with personal capital of independence, honesty, and work ethic. In terms of using digital technology, they are also able to adapt quickly and precisely. Thus, this research is expected to be able to provide a complete and accurate description of the existence and role of santri in creating community empowerment in the economic field, so that regulatory and policymakers can determine priorities in regional and national development
Does Covid 19 Pandemic Have a Direct Impact on the Level of Trust and Commitment toward Hospitals as Health Service Providers in Yogyakarta?
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to examine the direct and indirect effects of the pandemic on consumer trust and consumer commitment towards public health care in Yogyakarta during the pandemic. The research method in this study was the survey method with path analysis tools. Based on the research result it can be concluded that the direct impact of the Covid pandemic (X) on trust (Y1) is 0.205 (unstandardized) and 0.187 (standardized), the direct impact of trust (Y1) on the Y2 commitment is 0.602 (unstandardized) and 0.63 (standardized). Based on the t-test on the Sobel formula, the t value (3.251) > t table (1.663), means that there is an indirect impact between variable X (pandemic) on Y2 (commitment) through Y1 (trust). The impact of the Covid pandemic indirectly affects consumer commitment through the variable of trust with a combined direct and indirect impact of 1,099
Modern Trends in Education in the Era of Digitalization: Task and Prospects of Development
Get PDFThe article suggests an overall review of modern technological trends in education. The authors aimed to figure out the objectives, benefits and obstacles of their development. The article deals with innovations, which have already been and are being implemented in education system with Industry 5.0 shortly ahead. The main aim is to determine social and cultural impact of rapid digitalization in the sphere of education. Research methods were based on deductive categories. Elements of descriptive and comparative analysis were applied for identification of major patterns and tendencies. The review given by the authors proves that education is one of the main challenges for authorities, teachers and students in terms of digitalization. The results of the research indicate the importance of new paradigm and reconsidering of educational environment in general. It involves technological, social and communicative aspects. Some conventional standards have become obsolete and we need to acknowledge the fact. Modern society is facing not only technological challenges but also the ones concerning attitude and skills. We can conclude that effective agreement between social and technological process can be reached if legal framework and standardized approaches are involved
Indonesia's role as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in Assisting the Resolution of Conflict in Afghanistan for the 2019-2020 Period
Get PDFIndonesia has been elected for the fourth time to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. Indonesia with its free and active foreign policy is entrusted with this position. Indonesia will serve during the 2019-2020 period. Indonesia has done a lot for world peace in accordance with the 1945 Constitution and with its free and active political principles. The author wants to see the role of Indonesia in its membership in the UNSC in helping to bring about peace in conflicting countries, in this case Afghanistan. However, the long conflict between the United States and the Taliban can be contained and resolved properly. The UN Security Council has the responsibility for this, and Indonesia takes part in it. How Indonesia makes policies and takes a role as a member of the International Organization Agency, who has this sizeable responsibility. By using the theory of Conflict Resolution and international organizations as an analysis tool, the author will discuss Indonesia's role as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in resolving the conflict in Afghanistan in 2019-2020.

Updating Potential Soft Skills For Telecommuters In A Home-Work Double Situations In The Covid 19 Pandemic
Get PDFTelecommuting is used to work far from the central office to achieve performance but now the term is shifting. Work from home is now hard to do since workers also have to take care of their families. Job routines are still demanding and at the same time, taking care of family and handling domestic affairs tasks can not be neglected since safety comes first to protect the family from the virus. Job demands shift in this COVID 19 pandemic as many domestic and office problems occur while people work from home. This review paper elaborates the important soft skills for telecommuting who work from home in this pandemic. The review was conducted from 1986 until the latest one in 2020. This review results in some soft skills that have evidenced their presence for telecommuters. The existence of soft skills are demanding and undoubtedly plays important role in helping telecommuters complete their job.
 
Effect of Work Ecosystem on Employee Performance at the Pamekasan Regency Agency
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to examine the paradigm change of governance implementation. The governance is the implementation of Regional Autonomy which refers to Law No. 32 of 2004 about the performance improvement of autonomous government agencies. It puts the vision, mission, and strategy into actions that confirm the success or failure levels when carrying out activities following the specified programs and policies. There are variables applied to assess the civil servants’ performance achievement. This research focused on the variables that affect the work environment, organizational culture, job satisfaction, and work motivation. The respondents of this research are officials of Echelon III and IV at 14 Autonomous Regional Agencies in the Pamekasan Regency. The number of samples in this study comprised 120 Echelon III and IV officials. Structural Equation Method (SEM) was applied to test the causal relationship between work environment variables, organizational culture, work motivation, job satisfaction, and performance with the aid of the AMOS 20.0 program. The findings indicated (1) the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction and performance but has no significant effect on work motivation; (2) organizational culture has a significant impact on job satisfaction and performance but has no significant effect on work motivation; (3) job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance but has no significant effect on work motivation; (4) work motivation has a significant impact on performance but it has no significant effect on work motivation

Analysis of The Implementation of Prohibition Buying of Street Vendors in Koja Sub-District North Jakarta
Get PDFAccording to data on the recapitulation of orderly violations of certain places of business and businesses at the Civil Service Police Unit of North Jakarta Administrative City, there were 16,220 violations of the prohibition of trade in 2019, far from the violation of the prohibition against buying street vendors merchandises, which were only 5 violators, then this research was conducted to analyze the implementation of the prohibition of buying street vendor merchandises at Koja Subdistrict region, North Jakarta. This research method used descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with informants obtained by the author, in this study it was found that the DKI Jakarta Government had not widely disseminated to the public of the rules on the prohibition of buying street vendor merchandise, there was still a lack of personnel for preventing violations, and the need to revise rules related to a standard operating procedure (SOP) in prosecuting violations on the prohibition of buying street vendor merchandise

To carry out this mandate, the Simeulue Regency Government since 2007 has used the SIMDA Finance application as an information system for its financial management so that it can manage finances in an accountable and transparent manner. hinder the performance of the Financial SIMDA, which In the course of its implementation, the Simeulue Regency Government has found obstacles that gradually fix these inhibiting factors and implement supporting factors that can improve the performance of the Financial SIMDA. This study aims to determine the factors that hinder and support the implementation of SIMDA Finance in Simeulue Regency. This research method uses qualitative, research subjects consist of SIMDA Finance users who have used the application for more than three years, data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documents, data validity techniques using data triangulation. data analysis technique using NVIVO. The results show that the five main factors that support the implementation of SIMDA Finance in Simeulue Regency are software, leader commitment, network, hardware, and attitude of the implementer. Meanwhile, the five main factors that hinder the implementation of SIMDA Finance are human resources, software, networks, hardware and the attitude of the implementers. The factors that are the same between supporters and obstacles to SIMDA Finance are caused by researchers looking at different sides of these factors in implementing SIMDA Finance
