The novelty of this research is to fill the gap of existing problems or a void of knowledge, lack of literature that focuses on the Threat of Cultural Degradation because of the existence of Baduy Dalam Tribe Residents who have activities as tour guides, and they are suspected of having cell phones and Instagram social media which are considered contrary to the customary rules of the Baduy Tribe. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained will be analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. Baduy customary rules strictly prohibit the use of technology, but local guides from the Baduy Dalam tribe are found using mobile phones and Instagram social media to attract tourists to use their services. There is a social change in local guides as they adjust to the needs of tourists. They use this technology secretly because they realize that they have violated customary rules. The customary leader explained that what happened to the local guide had indirectly violated customary rules. The conclusion of this research is that there is a threat of cultural degradation due to tourism activities, especially for tour guides from the Baduy Dalam Tribe. Mobile phone ownership and the use of Instagram social media to attract tourists to use guiding services are considered contrary to customary rules

One of the strategic and priority programs of the Indonesian government is the Family Hope Program (PKH) under the Ministry of Social Affairs. PKH itself is a program designed to alleviate poverty with poverty levels ranging from 0% to 10%. There is a PKH social assistant who is a program implementer with the function of carrying out socialization, validating data, verifying commitment to recipients of PKH social assistance in education, health, and social welfare services, updating data, facilitating, mediating and advocating to receive complementary program assistance, and hold family capacity building meetings (P2K2). This research uses library research through a methodology that combines the characteristics of various scientific sources accurately and validly to analyze facts by taking previous literature and reporting new facts and analysis. Primary, secondary, and tertiary materials to process and analyze data by describing and combining it so that it is presented in a journal manuscript. Data shows that the family capacity building meetings (P2K2) held every month by PKH social assistants for beneficiary families (KPM) who are members of groups in each assisted area receive a good response because KPMs receive non-formal education from health and Nutrition Module, ModuleEducation and Child Care, Family Financial Management Module, Child Protection Module, Social Welfare Module, and Prevention and TreatmentStanting. 6 Modules that are provided continuously every month can increase positive practices and then gradually change the behavior of beneficiary families. The Hope Family Programme in Indonesia will be a model for how to develop the capacity of people in different countries by means of meetings to enhance the ability of families. (P2K2)

The doll industry has experienced rapid growth, with Indonesia becoming the fourth-largest market globally in 2023. Seulgi dolls, a local product featuring diverse designs and good quality, present an interesting subject for research on the influence of lifestyle and product quality on purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of lifestyle and product quality on Seulgi doll purchasing decisions, both separately and in interaction. The specific objectives are to determine the individual effects of lifestyle and product quality, as well as their combined contribution to doll purchasing decisions. This research employs a quantitative approach with a sample size of 100 respondents, using Non-Probability Sampling technique with Purposive Sampling method. Analysis results reveal that lifestyle has no significant effect on Seulgi doll purchasing decisions, with a significance 0.255>0.05. Product quality, however, proves to have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, with a significance 0.000<0.05. These findings emphasize the importance of product quality in influencing Seulgi doll purchasing decisions, while consumer lifestyle is not a primary determinant. Both lifestyle and product quality simultaneously influence Seulgi doll purchasing decisions, as evidenced by the F-test significance. The F-value of 48.172 is also substantial, indicating that at least one predictor has a significant effect on the dependent variable. By enhancing Seulgi doll quality, maintaining reputation, responding to complaints, strengthening fan-based marketing strategies that highlight quality, and investigating other variables such as price and promotion that affect purchasing decisions, the company can increase Seulgi doll sales and maintain competitiveness in the market

Recognition of Local Communities: A Polycentric Model of Policy Management of Mangrove Ecosystems

    Get PDF
Mangrove forests are important resources that provide various ecosystem services ecologically, economically, socially, and culturally. However, the utilisation of mangrove ecosystems often faces management conflicts. Conflicts can occur between residents in the mangrove area or between agencies and levels of authority. The diversity of governance from various decentralised, connected and functionally different layers implies a complex system. The polycentric model is one approach to addressing the system's complexity. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The aim is to examine the recognition of residents and the government for local community initiatives. This study found several essential things. First, the context of authority over the mangrove location by supra-village agencies, but in several decades, it has become a conservation and management area for residents. Second, recipients of ecosystem services and their utilisation involve residents from outside the administrative boundaries of the village. Third, cross-sector and level agreements for recognising mangrove ecosystem management initiatives based on local community wisdom. The model of recognition and autonomy given to local communities by higher authorities is the basis for sustainable polycentric governance of mangrove ecosystems. De facto autonomy includes four aspects, including: autonomy in decision-making, formal recognition, cross-actor collaboration, and control over access to resources
