Background: Aging in the elderly is accompanied by various physiological changes, including sleep disturbances such as insomnia, which can reduce quality of life. One non-pharmacological intervention that can be used to reduce insomnia is the application of sleep hygiene behavior. Purpose: To determine the relationship between sleep hygiene behavior and the incidence of insomnia in the elderly.   Methods: This study employed a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach, conducted in May 2025. A sample of 67 elderly individuals was selected using purposive sampling from a total population of 80. Data were collected using the Sleep Hygiene Index (SHI) and a modified version of the Sleep Condition Indicator (SCI), both of which were tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test with the assistance of SPSS at a significance level of α < 0.05. Results: Most respondents had moderate sleep hygiene behavior (41.8%), and more than half experienced insomnia (52.2%). Statistical tests showed a significant and strong relationship between sleep hygiene behavior and the incidence of insomnia, with a p-value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient r = 0.643. The positive correlation indicates that the worse the sleep hygiene behavior, the higher the risk of insomnia. Conclusion: These findings suggest that sleep hygiene is an effective non-pharmacological strategy in preventing or reducing the incidence of insomnia. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference and guideline for Tresna Werdha in designing programs aimed at improving sleep quality among the elderly

Background: Breastfeeding mothers often face a lack of milk production due to factors like changes in diet when returning to work and not breastfeeding or pumping frequently. In a previous study conducted at Arjasa Public Health Center, 100% of respondents reported inadequate milk production. Purpose : This study aims to analyze the effect of breast emptying using a breast pump on milk production in the Arjasa area. Methods: This study used a posttest-only control group design with 34 respondents, 17 in the control group and 17 people in the treatment group. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using the independent t-test statistical technique. Results: Independent t-test showed that the p-value was 0.001 < α = 0.05, leading to H0 rejection and Ha acceptance. This indicates that breast emptying using a breast pump affects breast milk production in working mothers in the Arjasa Community Health Center area. Conclusion: Breast emptying using a breast pump increases milk production. This increases prolactin hormone levels, the more milk emptied, the more milk produced. Thus, educating and supporting breastfeeding mothers in using a breast pump properly and the benefits of breast emptying is crucial for optimizing milk production

Premature birth is a birth event at a gestational age of <37 weeks which contributes to increasing the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). The cause of premature labor is not yet known with certainty, but it is suspected that there are several factors that influence it, one of which is non-obstetric disease. This study aims to determine the description of non-obstetric factors in premature labor at RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The research was carried out in November- Desember 2024 with a sample size of 144 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data collection uses secondary data. The results of data analysis obtained from 144 cases of non-obstetric premature births showed 116 cases of non-communicable diseases and 28 cases of infectious diseases. The highest data on non-obstetric premature births were in the non-obstetric non-communicable disease factor of hypertension as many as 49 respondents (42.2%) and the non-obstetric infectious disease factor of STI as many as 16 respondents (57.1%). Pregnant women are expected to undergo routine antenatal check-ups in accordance with the advice of health workers so that non-obstetric risk factors can be identified early to prevent more serious complications for mother and baby

Background: Compliance with taking Fe tablets is the behavior of pregnant women who obey the instructions or rules given by health workers during pregnancy. Many pregnant women do not comply with the recommendations for consuming Fe tablets given by health workers. This behavior occurs due to factors such as knowledge, education, and side effects of tablets, so that the purpose of giving them is not achieved. According to data from the Jember District Health Service in 2023, coverage of pregnant women who received Fe3 tablets (pregnant women up to the third trimester received 90 blood supplement tablets) was 83.13% and had decreased compared to 2022, which was 88.9%. The preliminary study results showed that 7 out of 10 pregnant women in the third trimester in the Sukowono Health Center Working Area still did not regularly consume Fe tablets. The purpose of the study was to determine changes in the behavior of third trimester pregnant women in taking Fe tablets based on the stage of change.  Method:The research design uses pre-experimental research with one group pre and posttest. The population used all pregnant women in the third trimester, as many as 60 people. The sampling technique was proportionate random sampling of 38 respondents. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Results: Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The research results showed that the majority of pregnant women before the intervention were in the contemplation stage, and after the intervention, in the action stage. There is a change in the behavior of third-trimester pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets based on the stage of change, with a p-value = 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: The behavior of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets will increasingly become an action and lead to maintenance, so efforts need to be made to make pregnant women aware of regular consumption through providing education and assistance by health workers or families

Background: Breast cancer remains a significant global health concern. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), by 2050, the number of new breast cancer cases is projected to increase by 38%, with a 68% rise in mortality, reaching an estimated 3.2 million new cases and 1.1 million deaths annually. In Indonesia, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer, with an incidence rate of 40.3 per 100,000 women and a mortality rate of 16.6 per 100,000 women. Alarmingly, approximately 70% of cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage due to low awareness of early detection. Data show that 90% of Indonesian women have never performed breast self-examination (BSE). This situation is exacerbated in regions such as Lenek Lauq Village, East Lombok Regency, where many health cadres lack sufficient skills in performing BSE. To address this issue, an innovative educational tool called "Rompi Mamae" (ROMA) was developed. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of using ROMA on improving BSE skills among community health cadres. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design was employed. A total of 48 health cadres were selected and divided into two groups: an intervention group (trained using ROMA) and a control group (provided with standard leaflets). Results: The findings revealed a significant improvement in BSE skills in the intervention group, with a mean post-test score of 31.65 compared to 17.35 in the control group (p = 0.000). Conclusion: ROMA has proven to be an effective and innovative educational medium for enhancing BSE skills among health cadres, with the potential to support broader efforts in early breast cancer detection within the community
