Penerapan Teknologi Silase Pakan Komplit Guna Memperbaiki Manajemen Pakan di CV An-Kim Indo Farm dan Faris Jaya Farm
Full text linkSheep farming in Indonesia is generally still carried out conventionally to semi-intensively, and there is also minimal support for the sheep farming business being run. Livestock partners from CV An-Kim Indo Farm and Faris Jaya Farm are partners who still run sheep farming businesses by relying on the availability of green fodder in the form of field grass and rice straw as their main feed. Both of these feed ingredients have low nutritional quality. The level of sheep productivity is maintained if the feed contains a minimum of PK 10.90-12.70%, and TDN 55-60%. This factor causes the sheep of partner farmers to not be able to produce optimally. In fact, other feed sources besides field grass are widely available around partner farms and can be used as alternative feed, for example various agricultural waste. However, the low knowledge and skills of farmers in identifying and processing alternative feeds cause the nutritional needs of sheep not to be met and affect their productivity. The solution to this problem is to conduct socialization regarding increasing the nutritional value of animal feed through the manufacture of complete feed using alternative feed raw materials from agricultural waste. Complete feed silage innovation is a practical solution to overcome the availability of fresh feed for partner sheep farmers at CV An-Kim Indo Farm and Faris Jaya Farm. This silage saves labor and time, reduces dependence on field grass, its application is expected to improve feed management, save time and energy for farmers, and increase efficiency
Implementasi Pelatihan Petrologi Untuk Pengembangan Keterampilan Deskripsi Batuan Pada Siswa SMK Negeri 6 Kendari
Full text linkA rock description training has been conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Kendari to enhance fundamental petrology knowledge and descriptive skills among students in the Mining Geology program. This training involved 47 senior-level students and was implemented through several stages, including preparation, material presentation, rock description practicum, and outcome evaluation via written exam and analytical rubric assessment. The training comprised theoretical and practical sessions focused on the description of three rock groups (igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic) using hand specimens and thin sections. The analysis demonstrates a significant enhancement in students' comprehension, as reflected in the increase in the average post-test score to 62.02, compared to the pre-test score of 45.74. An improvement in descriptive skills was also evident based on the evaluation rubric, with a greater number of students achieving the "Intermediate" proficiency level, characterized by scores exceeding 39, following the training. Statistical analysis using a paired t-test revealed a p-value <0.05, with the t-statistic substantially exceeding the critical threshold, affirming that the training had a significant impact on improving students’ knowledge and descriptive competencies in rock examination. It is recommended that future training programs focus on advanced modules, particularly those emphasizing rock interpretation, to further enhance students’ proficiency in rock description
Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Tani Desa Suling Wetan Kabupaten Bondowoso Dalam Upaya Penyediaan Bibit Nilam Secara Mandiri
Full text linkThe majority of residents in Suling Wetan Village work as farmers and rely heavily on self-produced seeds due to the village’s remote location. One high-potential crop for marginal lands in the area is patchouli (Pogostemon cablin), a plant valued for its essential oil. However, the propagation of patchouli remains a significant challenge for local farmers due to limited knowledge and skills. This community engagement program aimed to enhance farmers’ capacities in patchouli propagation through a combination of awareness campaigns, technical workshops, hands-on training, direct field mentoring, and participatory monitoring and evaluation. Evaluation was conducted through direct observation and participant surveys. The results showed that 96% of participants gained a clear understanding of patchouli propagation techniques, and all participants acknowledged the importance of the program and expressed hope for its continuation. The activity successfully contributed to increasing farmers’ independence in sustainable patchouli seedling production

Full text linkVillage Government is a miniature of the state and the front door after the family to build Human Resources (HR). One of the aims of the state is to provide service functions to the community. Tompokersan village, Lumajang has implemented technology in its certificate-making services. The existing services are less effective because letter submitting still uses Google Forms. The service has several weaknesses, namely does not have a queue mechanism for submitting certificates, cannot prevent unauthorized users, submission data is not integrated, does not have AI-based customer service such as chatbots, and RT/RW heads carry out manual approval. This is considered less effective and has not been fully digitized. This makes the governance of Tompokersan Village less good. Tompokersan village requires a web and mobile-based information system that can solve these problems. Several certificates are usually made by the village, including a business certificate, a domicile certificate, a certificate of not being married, a certificate of being unable to pay, a death certificate, a birth certificate, and other certificates. This service aims to realize innovative governance in the Tompokersan village. The results of the dissemination of Digital Services can solve partner problems, namely reducing queues at the sub-district office, validation by RT and RW heads can be done digitally, sub-district officers can easily record and report, and the public can participate in monitoring the status of letters that have been submitted via the mobile application

Full text linkThis community service activity aims to improve the quality and competitiveness of honey soy milk products at "UD Sehat Sejahtera" Jember through packaging innovation. This activity is in line with the Jember State Polytechnic P3M program which focuses on strengthening agro-industry using local raw materials. In this activity, the service team identified that the plastic packaging currently used has many shortcomings, both in terms of durability and environmental impact. Therefore, innovation was carried out by changing the packaging to PET bottles which are more environmentally friendly and able to maintain product quality for longer. This activity includes design and development of new packaging, training for workers regarding the production process, as well as digital marketing strategies. The results of this activity are expected to increase the attractiveness of the product in the market, extend shelf life, and increase consumer satisfaction, thereby supporting the sustainability of the "UD Sehat Sejahtera" business in Jember

Full text linkThe aging population phenomenon that will occur in 2030-2050 will cause a shift in the elderly population with a dependency ratio that continues to increase. When someone reaches old age, they will face the peak of the human life cycle. The increasing number of older people will also cause various problems such as technical, medical, psychological, mental, and socio-economic problems. The various problems that arise if not managed properly will have an impact on the elderly, namely physical changes in the elderly, causing them to feel unable to do various activities as well as when they were young. This causes the elderly to become then demotivated and withdraw from the social environment. This condition requires special attention. These problems can reduce life expectancy in the elderly. The form of community empowerment for the elderly is the Healthy and Independent Elderly Movement (GLSM) through Healthy Home Service as a form of UKBM (Community-Based Health Efforts). Healthy Home Service provides services in the form of health education services, elderly cadre training, modality therapy, and telenursing services, as well as SIM-RS (Hospital Management Information System), which facilitates online-based health services and also accommodates a database that records data on the number of elderly diseases. The results of the activities obtained were an increase in the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly regarding achieving optimal quality of life by 96.66%. The knowledge and understanding of the elderly increased, in addition to an increase in the productivity of elderly companion cadres, along with the structure and main tasks for elderly companion cadres by 100%. Full text linkThis Community Service Activity aims to empower women entrepreneurs in Nganjuk Regency through training in processing banana heart and catfish into shredded fish. This program was initiated to improve the skills and economic income of women's groups, as well as to optimize the utilization of abundant but underutilized local resources. The criteria for women entrepreneurs who participate in this program are 1) women entrepreneurs who are members of the Nganjuk Regency UMKM, 2) have an interest in catfish processing and 3) women entrepreneurs who play an active role in developing the creative economy. The methods used include analysis of needs problems, technical training in raw material processing, business management, and shredded fish product marketing strategies, monitoring and evaluation. This activity was carried out at the Village Hall of Kauman Village, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in technical skills, business knowledge, and income of the women's groups involved. In addition, participants were able to learn business management and marketing strategies that helped them develop their businesses professionally and sustainably.. The success of this activity confirms that appropriate training and empowerment can produce sustainable positive changes and become a model that can be applied in other areas
Pemanfaatan Kecerdasan Buatan untuk Pencegahan dan Deteksi Dini Kusta Berbasis Citra Kulit
Full text linkKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses layanan kesehatan yang lebih baik, terutama dalam pencegahan dan deteksi dini penyakit kusta (SDG 3). Kusta merupakan penyakit infeksi kronis yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium leprae dengan target utama saraf tepi dan kulit. Penyakit ini dapat menimbulkan kecacatan permanen apabila tidak ditangani secara cepat dan tepat. Berdasarkan laporan WHO tahun 2023, terdapat 178.728 kasus baru kusta di seluruh dunia, dengan Indonesia menempati peringkat ketiga penyumbang terbanyak, yaitu 14.376 kasus (8%) serta 17.251 penderita yang masih menjalani pengobatan. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa kusta masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius. Dampak penyakit ini tidak hanya pada aspek kesehatan, tetapi juga menurunkan kualitas hidup penderita akibat adanya stigma sosial yang menyertainya. Oleh karena itu, deteksi dini sangat penting sebagai upaya pencegahan penularan dan kecacatan. Hasil observasi di Desa Kasiyan, Kecamatan Puger, Kabupaten Jember, menunjukkan bahwa kader posyandu masih memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah dalam mengenali tanda-tanda kusta. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, dikembangkan aplikasi AI-KustaCare sebagai sarana edukasi dan pendukung deteksi dini berbasis kecerdasan buatan. Pelatihan kepada 50 kader posyandu menunjukkan hasil positif, dengan sebagian besar peserta menilai aplikasi mudah dipahami (90%), menarik (92%), mudah digunakan (92%), serta cukup akurat dalam mendeteksi gejala kusta (84%). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa inovasi berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas kader dan memperkuat program pengendalian kusta di masyarakat

Full text linkPengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Desa Kalikatir, Mojokerto, dalam mengelola limbah pertanian dan mengembangkan usaha produktif, khususnya terkait pengolahan pelepah pisang. Ditemukan bahwa potensi agroindustri di desa ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang sertifikasi halal dan rendahnya pemanfaatan digitalisasi dalam pemasaran. Selain itu, proses produksi yang masih manual dan tidak efisien menurunkan kualitas dan produktivitas. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam sertifikasi halal, hilirisasi produk, dan digitalisasi usaha, didukung dengan penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa mesin pemotong dan pengering berbasis microcontroller. Pelaksanaan program melibatkan beberapa tahapan, termasuk identifikasi masalah, perancangan alat, pelatihan, dan pendampingan intensif kepada BUMDes dan Karang Taruna. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang signifikan pada para peserta, dengan rata-rata peningkatan nilai sebesar 20,22 poin. Disimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara teknologi, peningkatan kapasitas SDM, dan transformasi digital merupakan kunci keberhasilan, dan disarankan untuk membentuk koperasi desa guna memastikan keberlanjutan program
Edukasi Postur Ergonomis dan Pencegahan Nyeri Muskuloskeletal di SMA IT Izzudin Palembang
Full text linkSantri merupakan kelompok yang berisiko tinggi mengalami keluhan muskuloskeletal akibat kebiasaan duduk statis dan postur tubuh yang tidak ergonomis selama belajar dan menghafal Al-Qur’an. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan santri mengenai postur duduk yang sehat dan pencegahan nyeri muskuloskeletal melalui edukasi ergonomis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif menggunakan media booklet, video pendek, serta peragaan langsung teknik duduk ergonomis dan peregangan ringan bersama santri dan guru. Program ini diikuti oleh 82 peserta dari SMA IT Izzudin Palembang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, terutama pada aspek pemahaman tentang dampak keluhan muskuloskeletal (97,6%) dan gerakan peregangan (93,9%). Kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman santri mengenai pentingnya postur ergonomis, serta diharapkan menjadi langkah awal untuk penerapan perilaku duduk sehat di lingkungan pesantren.
