Preface
The fascicule 3 of volume 33 is the fruit of the conference on Iwasawa
theory, held from June 24th to June 28th, 2019, in the University of Bor-
deaux. This was the eighth conference in the series, following conferences in
Besançon (2004), Limoges (2006), Irsee (2008), Toronto (2010), Heidelberg
(2012), London (2015) and Tokyo (2017). The Iwasawa 2019 conference was
organized by Denis Benois and Pierre Parent with a scientific committee
formed by Denis Benois, Henri Darmon, Ming-Lun Hsieh, Masato Kurihara,
Otmar Venjakob and Sarah Zerbes. It was preceded by four preparatory
mini-courses and brought together nearly 150 researchers and PhD stu-
dents.
The papers published in this fascicule were submitted after the con-
ference. Some contributions are survey articles, while others are original
research articles. We wish to express our gratitude to the speakers and all
participants for ensuring the success of the meeting and to the contributors
for making this publication possible. We are very grateful to the referees for
their careful work. Finally, we would like to thank Karine Lecuona, Cathy
Métivier, Ida Sirben and Catherine Vrit for their support in organizing the
conference.
