Get PDFThe Library of Kazimierz Wielki Uniyersity has in its special collected works a group of uncensored publications released in 1976-1989. It was a period of emergence of state-independent publishing houses. They printed books, newspapers, leaflets, posters, etc., that had no permit to print from the Press, Publications and Performance Control Office, known as “The Censorship Office.” The article contains a review of the most interesting titles in the collection according to the author. These are books published by the three most important publishing houses - NOWA, KRĄG and CDN. It also features a list of all titles of the collection in alphabetical order.Biblioteka Uniwersytetu Kazimierza Wielkiego posiada w zbiorach specjalnych m.in. kolekcję bezdebitowych wydawnictw wydanych w latach 1976-1989. Był to okres, w którym powstawały i działały niezależne od państwa oficyny wydawnicze. Drukowały książki, czasopisma, ulotki, plakaty etc., nieposiadające pozwolenia na druk od Głównego Urzędu Kontroli Prasy, Publikacji i Widowisk, czyli tzw. „cenzury”. Artykuł zawiera przegląd najciekawszych, zdaniem autora, tytułów znajdujących się w zbiorach. Są to książki wydane przez trzy najważniejsze oficyny: NOW-ą, KRĄG i CDN. Zawiera również spis alfabetyczny wszystkich tytułów kolekcji

Get PDFThis article is an attempt to analyze and interpretation of position of the representatives of the Austrian School versus importance and the role of the individual and the social cooperation in the develop-ment of the civilization. The aim of this article is examined, according to the representatives of the Austrian School, that the individuals and the social cooperation have infl uence on the development of the wealth of the society and increase of human liberty and also guarantee of peaceful cooperation between humans. Author focus on political thought of the representatives of the Austrian School in the persons like Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard, Butler Shaff er or Thomas DiLorenzo. Article show that in opinions of the representatives of the Austrian School social institutions like property rights, personal freedom, social cooperation or free market are products of Western Civilization. In the text discuss will be belief that bad ideas are main causes of destructions of civilizations. Author used an interpretative approach and context analysis.Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą analizy i interpretacji stanowiska reprezentantów Szkoły Austriackiej wobec znaczenia i roli jednostki oraz społecznej kooperacji w rozwoju cywilizacji. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie, czy i jak według reprezentantów Szkoły Austria ckiejjednostki i społeczna kooperacja miały wpływ na rozwój cywilizacji, dając podstawy zwiększenia dobrobytu społeczeństwa oraz rozszerzenia ludzkiej wolności, zapewniając pokojowe relacje między ludźmi. Autor skupi się na myśli politycznej autorstwa reprezentantów Austriackiej Szkoły Ekonomicznej w osobach Ludwiga von Misesa, Murraya Rothbarda, Butlera Shaff era czy Thomasa DiLorenzo. Artykuł wykaże, że według reprezentantów instytucje społeczne, takie jak: prawa własności, wolność jednostek, społeczna kooperacja czy wolny rynek, są dorobkiem cywilizacji zachodniej. The use of Kashubian regional architecture in the creation of a cultural heritage tourism offer in the rural areas of selected communes of the Pomeranian Voivodeship
Get PDFIn Kashubia, as a cultural region, tourism manifests itself in various forms. One of them is rural cultural tourism,utilizing, inter alia, the material assets, unique character and wealth of secular and sacred architecture. The aim ofthis article is to determine the use of Kashubian regional architecture in the creation of a cultural heritage tourism offer in selected communes of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Research conducted by the author has shown that Pomeranian historic objects of sacred and secular architecture can be used to develop the heritage tourism offer, consistent with the idea of sustainable tourism. Some of the facilities are part of existing tourism products, e.g. cultural routes, museums, and theme parks, such as the Kashubian Ethnographic Park in Wdzydze Kiszewskie. However, the tourist potential of numerous monuments is not fully used mainly due to insufficient tourism development, as well as lack of reliable information and promotion, and this affects sightseeing.In Kashubia, as a cultural region, tourism manifests itself in various forms. Use of animals in entertainment - an outline of the problem

So far, measures banning or restricting the use of animals in circuses have already been adopted in about 1/5 of the world\u27s countries, and similar legislation is under discussion in many other countries. Poland has a nationwide ban on the use of wild-born animals in circuses, but there are still about a dozen circuses that use animals in their performances. The total number of animals in circuses is estimated at around 250 specimens. In recent years, Polish society\u27s attitudes toward the use and exploitation of animals have undergone dynamic changes. The purpose of the work was to provide examples of the use of animals in entertainment, with a particular focus on circuses, and to highlight the main associated problems.
