Get PDFThis article is devoted to the blind from the perspective of difficulties in finding employment by these populations. The aim of the paper is to present selected problems faced by blind individuals in taking up employment, as this issue seems to be still valid due to its complexity. The article presents the problem of vision loss from a medical perspective. Differences in the following issues were presented: completely blind and partially sighted people. Attention was drawn to the external conditions facilitating the professional existence of blind employees in the working environment. It also focused on the numerous consequences of the inability to see in the work environment. A research report entitled Pracodawca na TAK carried out by the TAKpełnosprawni Foundation in 2022, concerned the employment of individuals with disabilities, including the blind. The study refers to the principles of effective employment of people with disabilities. It was prepared according to the international standard ILO Global Business and Disability Network. In Poland, the practical aspect of these principles was presented for the first time.Artykuł poświęcony jest osobom niewidomym w perspektywie trudności podjęcia przez tę populację zatrudnienia. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranych problemów, z jakimi zmagają się jednostki niewidomew podjęciu zatrudnienia, ponieważ to zagadnienie wydaje się ciągle aktualne również ze względu na jego złożoność. W artykule przedstawiono problematykę utraty wzroku z perspektywy medycznej. Zaprezentowano różnicew zagadnieniach, takich jak: osoby całkowicie niewidome oraz osoby szczątkowo widzące. Zwrócono uwagę na warunki zewnętrzne ułatwiające pracownikom niewidomym egzystencję zawodową w środowisku pracy. Skupiono się także na licznych konsekwencjach, jakie niesie za sobą brak zdolności wi- dzenia w środowisku pracy. Przedstawiono raport z badań pt. Pracodawcana TAK, przeprowadzonych przez fundację TAKpełnosprawni w roku 2021, który dotyczył zatrudnienia jednostek z niepełnosprawnościami, a w tym ludzi niewidomych. Badanie odnosi się do zasad skutecznego zatrudniania osób z niepełnosprawnościami. Zostało przygotowane według międzynarodowego standardu ILO Global Business and Disability Network. Get PDFThe paper shows the product life cycle at the University of Opole (UO) under the name of the speciality: “Pedagogy of work” conducted at the Peda- gogical Faculty at the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences. Ten problem-research areas of labour pedagogy, outlined in 1972 as the Tasks of the Institute of Vo- cational Education, expanded by one in 2004 and two in 2008, inspired the scientists of Opole University to take up this research issue. The research made it possible to present the vitality and the functioning of the specialty during the period of the university’s existence, and even earlier at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Opole. The above factors were the cause of a noticeable gra - dient in the growth of its life cycle since its birth, while in the second decade of the 21st century, an antigradient became apparent, caused, in the author’s opinion, primarily by the lack of interest of students to acquire knowledge in this area, although the reasons for this situation could be different. Several hundred specialists in labour pedagogy have graduated from the University of Opole, taking up challenges in various branches of the economy, both in the domestic and international markets.W pracy ukazano cykl życia produktu na Uniwersytecie Opolskim (UO) pod nazwą specjalności: pedagogika pracy, prowadzoną na kierunku pedagogika w Instytucie Nauk Pedagogicznych (INP). Dziesięć obszarów problemowo-badawczych pedagogiki pracy, nakreślonych w 1972 roku jako Zadania Instytutu Kształcenia Zawodowego, poszerzonych o jeden w 2004 roku i dwa w roku 2008, stały się inspiracją dla naukowców opolskiego uniwersytetu do podjęcia tej problematyki badawczej. Przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły zaprezentować żywotność i funkcjonowanie specjalności w okresie istnienia uniwersytetu, a jeszcze wcześniej Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej (WSP) w Opolu. Powyższe czynniki były przyczyną zauważalnego gradientu wzrostu cyklu życia tego produktu od chwili jego narodzenia, natomiast w drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku uwidocznił się antygradient, spowodowany według opinii autora, przede wszystkim brakiem zainteresowania studentów do pobierania wiedzy w tym obszarze, aczkolwiek przyczyny tego stanu rzeczy mogłyby być inne. Mury Uniwersytetu Opolskiego opuściło kilkuset absolwentów ‒ specjalistów pedagogów pracy, podejmując wyzwania w różnych gałęziach gospodarki, za- równo na rynku krajowym, jak i międzynarodowym

Get PDFFunkcje wykonawcze to wielowymiarowy, złożony system pozwalający na sterowanie działaniami zarówno tymi najprostszymi, jak i najbardziej skomplikowanymi. Badania podłużne, prowadzone od okresu wczesnego dzieciństwa, nad umiejętnościami wchodzącymi w skład funkcji wykonawczych wskazują na znaczącą rolę predykcyjną tego systemu silniejszą niż iloraz inteligencji czy kompetencje społeczne. W artykule umieszczono wiedzę pochodzącą z badań na temat możliwości przewidywania rozwoju m.in. umiejętności językowych, matematycznych i budowania konstruktywnych relacji rówieśniczych na podstawie diagnozy funkcji wykonawczych dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Wskazano również na możliwości wykorzystania pojęcia funkcji wykonawczych do przewidywania dalszych osiągnięć dzieci, planowania zmian, jak również prowadzenia badań ewaluacyjnych w odniesieniu do działań profilaktycznych.Executive functions represent a multidimensional and intricate system enabling individuals to regulate activities ranging from the most basic to the most intricate. Longitudinal studies assessing executive function skills from early childhood onwards reveal a noteworthy predictive capacity of this system, surpassing the influence of intelligence quotient (IQ) or social competencies. The article presents findings stemming from research regarding the feasibility of forecasting the progression of language and mathematical proficiencies, along with fostering beneficial peer interactions by assessing the executive functions of preschool-aged children. Furthermore, the utility of utilizing the conceptual framework of executive functions to anticipate future accomplishments among children, implement strategic interventions, and undertake evaluative inquiries concerning preventative interventions was also highlighted

Artykuł prezentuje przegląd systematyczny badań dotyczących przygotowania do emerytury i wygaszania aktywności zawodowej przez nauczycieli. Celem badań była identyfikacja raportów badawczych poświęconych procesowi przejścia i/lub przygotowania do emerytury przez nauczycieli z uwzględnieniem stosowanych przez badaczy ram teoretyczno-metodologicznych. Analiza wyników doprowadziła do podzielenia wykorzystanych przez badaczy ram teoretycznych na dyscypliny naukowe oraz wskazała na zainteresowanie badaczy przygotowaniami do emerytury, psychospołecznymi aspektami starzenia się, dobrostanem emerytalnym oraz jakością życia nauczycieli kończących aktywność zawodową. Niedostatecznie eksplorowane są zagadnienia związane ze strategiami wsparcia w przechodzeniu na emeryturę, czynnikami wspierającymi proces tranzycji emerytalnych oraz czynnikami wypychającymi i opóźniającymi proces przejścia na emeryturę.Retirement transition is a complex and heterogeneous process, determined by many factors. The article presents a systematic review of research on teachers’ preparation for retirement and career extinction. The purpose of the research was to identify research reports devoted to the process of teachers’ transition and/or preparation for retirement, considering the theoretical and methodological frameworks used by the researchers. The analysis of the results led to a breakdown of the theoretical frameworks used by researchers in scientific disciplines and indicated researchers’ interest in retirement preparation, psychosocial aspects of aging,retirement well-being, and quality of life of end-of-career teachers. Get PDFThe work of a resocialisation pedagogue in prisons and pre-trial detention centres requires multi-faceted professional preparation and specific and unique personality traits. This is because, in social resocialisation activities undertaken against individuals deprived of their liberty, certain principles of resocialisation upbringing and appropriate working methods are used. The effectiveness of their application, especially in institutional conditions, requires constant analysis and refinement. The methodology of social resocialisation should use various forms of support, among which coaching can play a special role.Praca pedagoga resocjalizacyjnego w zakładach karnych i aresztach śledczych wymaga wieloaspektowego przygotowania zawodowego oraz specyficznych i wyjątkowych cech osobowości. W działaniach resocjalizacyjnych bowiem, podejmowanych wobec jednostek pozbawionych wolności, wykorzystuje się między innymi określone zasady wychowania resocjalizującego oraz odpowiednie metody pracy. Skuteczność ich stosowania, zwłaszcza w warunkach instytucjonalnych, wymaga ciągłych analiz i dopracowania. Metodyka resocjalizacji powinna korzystać z różnorodnych form wsparcia, wśród których szczególne znaczenie może odegrać coaching. Stąd, w opracowaniu przedstawiono ogólne informacje dotyczące coachingu oraz zasad resocjalizacji ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wzajemnych zależności i powiązań w zakresie tych form pomocy
Coaching emerytalny – w perspektywie osób na emeryturze
Get PDFThe article is empirical in nature. The purpose of the study was to expand knowledge about attitudes toward retirement and the desire to plan for it using coaching. People who are in retirement, but not longer than 7 years, were invited to participate in the study. A quantitative research procedure was adopted, and a diagnostic survey method was used including a questionnaire technique, which was conducted on 107 people. The general conclusion of the research is that the Polish pensioner has a positive attitude to retirement and wants to be active and enjoy it as long as possible. Not many retirees sufficiently prepare for this stage in their lives. However, most of those surveyed are not interested in using coaching for retirement planning. Only about 29-32% of respondents are those who might be interested in the support of a retirement coach.Artykuł ma charakter empiryczny. Celem badania było poszerzenie wiedzy na temat podejścia do emerytury i chęci jej planowania z wykorzystaniem coachingu. Do badania zaproszono osoby, które znajdują się na emeryturze, lecz nie dłużej niż 7 lat. Przyjęto ilościowy tok postępowania badawczego i zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, w tym technikę ankiety, która została przeprowadzona wśród 107 osób. Ogólny wniosek z przeprowadzonych badań jest taki, że polski emeryt ma pozytywny stosunek do emerytury; chce być na niej jak najdłużej aktywnym i cieszyć się z niej. Niewielu emerytów dostatecznie dobrze przygotowuje się do tego etapu w życiu. Większość badanych nie jest jednak zainteresowana wykorzystaniem coachingu przy planowaniu emerytury. Tylko około 29-32% badanych to osoby, które mogą być zainteresowane wsparciem coacha emerytalnego

Get PDFArtykuł poświęcony jest wykorzystaniu technologii sztucznej inteligencji w edukacji wyższej. Jego celem jest zilustrowanie zarówno możliwości, jak i zagrożeń płynących z korzystania z wytworów sztucznej inteligencji (ang. artificial intelligence, AI). Pandemia potraktowana została jako czynnik nasilający zmiany w systemie edukacyjnym (Czapiewska, 2021; Sharma i in., 2022). Dyskurs wokół aktualnych wyzwań w szkolnictwie zdominowała tematyka rezyliencji cyfrowej i korzyści idących za rozwijaniem tego zasobu wśród społeczności akademickiej. Zwrócono uwagę na rosnące zainteresowanie wytworami sztucznej inteligencji, zwłaszcza ChatGPT, w codziennej pracy wykładowców i studentów. Przedyskutowano stosunek korzyści i wad wynikających z coraz większej zależności od technologii cyfrowych. Istnieje potrzeba edukowania studentów oraz pracowników naukowych w zakresie bezpiecznego korzystania z wytworów sztucznej inteligencji, a także rozwijania ich kompetencji do identyfikowania i wzmacniania zasobu rezyliencji cyfrowej.The article focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in higher education. Its goal is to illustrate both the possibilities and risks associated with using AI products. The pandemic is seen as a factor intensifying changes in the education system (Czapiewska, 2021; Sharma i in., 2022). The discourse around current challenges in education has been dominated by the themes of digital resilience and the benefits of developing this resource among the academic community. Attention has been drawn to the growing interest in AI products, especially ChatGPT, in the daily work of lecturers and students. The balance of benefits and drawbacks resulting from the increasing dependence on digital technologies was discussed. There is a need to educate students and research scientists on the safe use of AI products and to develop their competencies in identifying and enhancing digital resilience resources
