    Identification of Critical Thinking Profiles of Fifth Grade Students in Elementary Schools: Identifikasi Profil Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas V di Sekolah Dasar

    This study aims to describe the critical thinking profile of fifth-grade elementary students in solving Greatest Common Factor (GCF) problems. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied with one purposively selected participant categorized as having high critical thinking ability. Data were collected through a critical thinking test, structured interviews, and students’ written work, then analyzed using Facione’s six indicators: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation. The findings reveal that the student was able to identify key information, apply appropriate solution strategies, draw consistent conclusions, and reflectively re-check the results. These results indicate that fifth-grade students’ critical thinking skills in solving GCF tasks are well developed and can serve as valuable insights for designing mathematics learning strategies in elementary school

    This study aims to determine the influence of work-life balance and work motivation on stress and performance among freelance workers. A descriptive quantitative method was used with a cluster sampling technique, involving 117 freelance workers in event organizers across Sidoarjo, Krian, and Waru Districts. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results show that work-life balance has a significant effect on work stress among freelancers in Sidoarjo Regency. In contrast, work motivation does not have a significant impact on stress levels, as the dominant factor contributing to stress is behavioral symptoms. A fairly good work-life balance also has a significant positive effect on performance. However, work motivation does not significantly influence the performance of freelance workers

    The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has increased the workload in the logistics sector, particularly among Shopee Express partner couriers. This study aims to analyze the mental workload of partner couriers at Shopee Express Sidoarjo Hub 2 using the NASA-TLX method. Data were collected from 50 respondents through questionnaires that assessed six key dimensions of mental workload: mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, performance, effort, and frustration. The results indicate that most respondents experience a “high” level of mental workload, with the dominant contributing factors being effort, mental demand, and temporal demand. These findings highlight the need to evaluate existing work systems and provide adequate support to maintain courier well-being. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing workload management strategies in the logistics sector

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using interactive media based on the snakes and ladders game in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at Kramat Jegu 2 Elementary School. The study used a qualitative method with observation and interview techniques with PAI teachers and students. The snakes and ladders media was modified in such a way that each game box contained questions related to the subject matter, specifically Surah Al-Hujurat verse 13 and the hadith about diversity. The results showed that the use of this media was able to increase student interactivity, enthusiasm, and participation in the learning process. Students felt more enthusiastic because they learned while playing in groups, so that the classroom atmosphere became more conducive and enjoyable. The snakes and ladders media is considered effective as an alternative creative learning that can be applied in elementary schools to increase student learning motivation

    Notary protocols play a crucial role in the notarial world as legal documents that authenticate various transactions and agreements. This study aims to analyze the obligations of heirs in maintaining and submitting damaged notary protocols, as well as to understand the legal implications of such damage. This study uses a normative-empirical legal research method. Field data supporting the method was obtained through interviews with the Head of the relevant MPD. In addition, the researcher also used UUJN No. 2 of 2014 to examine the obligations of notaries in maintaining and storing notary protocols. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of the legal responsibilities of heirs, increase awareness regarding the protection of notary archives, and provide recommendations for policymakers to improve protocol management procedures. Thus, the rights of deceased clients can be protected and public trust in the notary profession can be increased

    This study analyzes Anies Baswedan’s personal branding strategy through his Instagram account @aniesbaswedan following the 2024 Presidential Election. A qualitative approach with netnography was used to observe posts, captions, and follower interactions. The analysis refers to Peter Montoya’s The Eight Laws of personal branding, including specialization, leadership, personality, distinctiveness, visibility, unity, persistence, and goodwill. The findings show that Anies builds an image as a public intellectual, educator, and humanistic leader close to society. Follower interactions and comments confirm appreciation for his intellectual capacity, social concern, and consistency. The aspects of unity and persistence are particularly prominent, as condolence posts and academic activities strengthen solidarity and a consistent image in the digital space. This study provides insight into how political figures utilize social media to shape a positive image, enhance credibility, and strengthen emotional connections with the public.

    Social media serves as a crucial component in contemporary marketing strategies, particularly in the context of campus-based events. CommNightRun represents the inaugural night run event organized by Communication Science students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. This study aims to examine the implementation of social media marketing strategies in enhancing both visibility and audience participation for the event. Utilizing a qualitative research approach and a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with event organizers, observations of official social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and the official website), as well as documentation of promotional materials. The findings indicate that the social media marketing strategy employed by CommNightRun was systematically designed, guided by Singh’s five dimensions of social media marketing: online community, interaction, content sharing, accessibility, and credibility. The strategic use of interactive content, content scheduling, and a visual-emotional approach proved effective in fostering audience engagement

    Bullying is a social phenomenon in schools that negatively affects students’ psychological well-being, academic achievement, and social interactions. One of the factors related to the vulnerability of bullying victims is the level of self-esteem. Low self-esteem increases the risk of becoming a victim, whereas high self-esteem serves as a protective factor. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of psychoeducation in improving the self-esteem of students who experienced bullying at SMP Negeri 2 Wonoayu. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 15 students selected based on the school counselor’s recommendation, identified as victims of bullying with low self-esteem. Data were collected using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and a modified Bullying Scale adapted to the Indonesian adolescent context. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between pretest (26.27) and posttest (34.73) scores with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (<0.05). &nbsp

    The Influence of Board Game Media on the Learning Motivation of Fourth-Grade Elementary School Students: Pengaruh Media Board Game terdahap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SD

    Elementary education is essential for developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities, making learning motivation a key factor in student success. This study used a quantitative one-group pretest-posttest design with 30 fourth-grade students at Kedungrejo 1 Elementary School in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through questionnaires based on motivation indicators and analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The findings show that the use of board game media, specifically Snakes and Ladders, significantly improved students’ learning motivation. Before applying the board game, students’ motivation was 70.37% (good), while after its application it increased to 86.39% (very good). The Shapiro-Wilk test results (pretest 0.121 and posttest 0.136, both >0.05) indicated normally distributed data. The paired t-test results (p = 0.000 < 0.05) confirmed a significant effect, proving that board game media effectively enhances motivation in elementary school learning
