A study on the learning attribution of Chinese language majors in a university in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Get PDFAttribution in learning is the explanation of the causes of learning success or failure that learners perceive. The article used questionnaire survey, attribution survey in learning of 142 students majoring in Chinese Language at Ho Chi Minh City Open University. The results showed that the tendency of students to attribute learning to success and failure is the same as effort > ability > luck > context. There is no significant difference in attribution in learning between male and female students, between students from urban areas and students from rural areas. There was a significant difference between students across grade levels in the tendency to attribute effort to success. There exists a positive correlation between learning results and attributions of ability and effort to success. The article argues that teachers need to guide students to make accurate attributions to academic success or failure
Dissemination of pedagogical practices to build the success of young teachers in Russia

The concepts of "professional competence", "criteria for evaluating best teaching practices", "innovative experience of a teacher", "best practices of a teacher" as a system of norms and principles necessary for a teacher to perform teaching, professional duties are analysed. It is noted that professional competence becomes a significant factor in the success of the teacher, leading to the formation of positive relationships between all participants of educational relations. Factors affecting to digital skills and adaptability of students in the context of digital transformation at the Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology and Education
Get PDFThe article focuses on analyzing the factors affecting students\u27 digital skills and adaptability in the context of digital transformation. The study identified influencing factors: Environment, Behavior, Individuals, Teachers, Time of use, and access. However, the results of an online survey of 1.282 students of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) with Cronbach\u27s Alpha test method, EFA analysis, correlations, and regression analysis, showed that there are 3/5 factors identified in the hypothesis that affect digital skills and adaptability of HCMUTE students in the context of digital transformation, specifically: behavior (Beta = 0.177, Sig. = 0.000); individuals (Beta = 0.181, Sig. = 0.027); teacher (Beta = 0.547, Sig. = 0.000). Besides, the environment does not affect digital skills and adaptability (KNSKNTU) due to Beta = 0.017 and Sig.=0.384>0.05. Sig does not involve usage and access time factors. >0.05 in the table Correlations not be further analyzed in the regression model. The research results are expected to help provide a more objective view of the reality of digital adoption and student adaptability in the digital transformation context at HCMUTE

Examine private school policies in Turkey in terms of public policy discipline
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to examine private school policies in Turkey in terms of public policy discipline. In the study, private schools were examined in the context of public policy process analysis in five stages, "agenda setting, policy formulation, enactment, implementation, evaluation". Research data was analyzed through document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research analysis methods. The documents examined for the collection of data in this research consist of the Council of National Education, Government Programs, the law and regulations. According to the results obtained from the research findings; the establishment of private schools in Turkey dates back to the Ottoman Empire and it has been determined that this trend continued after the proclamation of the Republic, especially after the 1980s, when neo-liberal policies began to be implemented. In addition, it has been determined that the decisions of the Ministry of National Education Council and the Government Programs are effective in the formation of private school policies in Turkey. It should not be forgotten that the formulated education policies should not only focus on the increase in quantity, but also should be prepared to increase the quality in education
Utility perception on virtual learning environments used in Brazilian blended learning
Get PDFThis research aimed to use a data collection instrument, previously proposed, with the purpose of evaluating 11 different factors related to the perception of self-declared utility by users of a virtual learning environment and its information and communication technologies, as pedagogical resources used in the implementation of the blended learning methodology. Based on descriptive statistics and the application of the non-parametric test of Wilcoxon posts, a comparative assessment was carried out between the levels of utility perceived by 71 students and their teachers, in three curricular components of different undergraduate courses of a public university in the state from São Paulo. In addition, Cronbach\u27s alpha coefficient was used to measure the reliability of the data collection instrument used in this research. At the end of this study, it was observed that, although the subjects included in the sample of this research present different levels of perception of utility for most of the factors analyzed, there is a certain degree of convergence in relation to the factors considered most relevant by both, that is, teachers and students attributed a greater perception of usefulness to factors such as interaction and complementarity between classroom and online content, and also to the general utility of information and communication technologies in the respective virtual learning environment. In the specific case of students, the interaction between teacher and student was also considered as one of the most important factors, in the three undergraduate courses analyzed
