Replication Data for: Influence of Agronomic Factors on Mycotoxin Contamination in Maize and Changes during a 10-Day Harvest-Till-Drying Simulation Period: A Different Perspective
Maize from different maturity groups (short cycle vs long cycle), N fertilization rate (no fertilization vs high fertilization) and tillage systems (intensive tillage vs direct drilling) were harvested. Moisture, water activity, total fungal contamination and Fusarium contamination of all maize types were measured just after harvest and 4, 7 and 10 days after harvest, being kept at 15 or 25 ºC. Concentrations of DON, FB1 and FB2 of all maize types were measured just after harvest and 5 and 10 days after harvest, being kept at 15 or 25 ºC.
The dataset contains all the obtained results

Replication data for: The future is in the younger generations: Baka children in Southeast Cameroon have extensive knowledge on medicinal plants
This dataset derives from the research project “Resilience of Indigenous Peoples’ Healthcare system”, led by Sandrine Gallois, funded by the Beatriu de Pinós Programme and the Ministry of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia (BP2020-00216). This research explores the local medical system of the Baka people, forager-horticulturalists living in southeastern Cameroon. Specifically, it aims to assess the adaptive capacity of their medical system to the current social-ecological changes, by taking an interdisciplinary lens, diving into the local ecological knowledge and practices of the Baka and the different disturbances affecting their health and healthcare system.
This dataset is part of this broad research, focusing specifically on Baka children’ knowledge regarding medicinal plants. The data were collected in two villages from southeastern Cameroon, in the Lomié and Messok districts, in 2022, reaching a total of 106 children, from 6 to 16 years-old (46 boys and 60 girls). The dataset compiles the local names of medicinal plants reported by the children from three methods used: the freelising interviews, the walk-in-the-wood trips and the individual knowledge surveys

Post-vaccination IgG4 and IgG2 class switch associates with increased risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections
Objectives: Repeated COVID-19 mRNA vaccinations increase SARS-CoV-2 IgG4 antibodies, indicating extensive IgG class switching following the first booster dose. This shift in IgG subclasses raises concerns due to the limited ability of IgG4 to mediate Fc-dependent effector functions. Methods: To assess the impact of IgG4 induction on protective immunity, we analyzed longitudinal SARS-CoV-2 IgG subclasses, C1q and FcγR responses, and neutralizing activity in a well-characterized cohort of healthcare workers in Spain. Results: Elevated IgG4 levels and higher ratios of non-cytophilic to cytophilic antibodies after booster vaccination were significantly associated with an increased risk of breakthrough infections (IgG4 HR[10-fold increase]=1.8, 95% CI=1.2–2.7; non-cytophilic to cytophilic ratio HR[10-fold increase]=1.5, 95% CI=1.1–1.9). Moreover, an increased non-cytophilic to cytophilic antibody ratio correlated with reduced functionality, including neutralization. Conclusions: These findings suggest a potential association between IgG4 induction by mRNA vaccination and a higher risk of breakthrough infection, warranting further investigation into vaccination strategies to ensure sustained protection
