No full textThe early prediction of tipping points, distinguished by sudden and catastrophic shifts from stable states, poses a challenging task that would enable us to assess the impending threat across natural and engineered systems. This threat becomes particularly acute in low-fluctuation environments, where tipping occurs through saddle-node bifurcation without prior warning in noise dynamics. In this study, we investigate the tipping point dynamics of avalanche catastrophes in low-fluctuation domain, employing model system like the zero temperature random field Ising model and thermally deposited cobalt films. As the system approaches the tipping point, avalanche activity reveals pronounced critical behaviour, including critical slowing down, variance enhancement, and a growing spatial correlation length--hallmarks that may serve as early warning signals of impending collapse. Crucially, we demonstrate that increasing disorder in the system reduces its vulnerability to catastrophic failure. In highly disorder regimes, these early warning signals emerge well before the transition, thereby providing a large margin for anticipation and mitigation. This key finding suggests a protective role of disorder offering a novel perspective on resilience in complex systems. Our results not only deepen the understanding of tipping phenomena in disorder materials but also have broader implications for forecasting regime shift in diverse real-world systems

Samples were collected along 5 campaigns (C0-C4), which comprise different periods of crops growth. The concentration (in ng/L) of 65 micropollutants in the water samples is depicted on both tables, along with the analytical parameters as method detection and quantification limits and recovery

No full text[SPA] Este conjunto de datos recopila y sistematiza información detallada sobre los sistemas defensivos de asentamientos fenicio-púnicos localizados en el Mediterráneo central y occidental, abarcando un arco cronológico desde el siglo IX hasta el II a.C. El catálogo integra datos de 34 yacimientos.
El registro incluye variables estructuradas en las siguientes secciones: información sobre el yacimiento, toponimia y entidad, implantación, técnicas de construcción, estructuras defensivas, poliorcética y datos arqueológicos.
El catálogo se comparte en formato CSV e incluye fotografías en formato TIFF. Es una herramienta de interés para el personal investigador de las áreas de arqueología, historia antigua y patrimonio cultural.
[ENG] This dataset compiles and systematizes detailed information on the defensive systems of Phoenician-Punic settlements located in the central and western Mediterranean, spanning a chronological arc from the 9th to the 2nd century BC. The catalogue integrates data from 34 archaeological sites.
The records include structured variables organized into the following sections: site information, toponymy and entity, settlement layout, construction techniques, defensive structures, poliorcetics, and archaeological data.
The catalogue is shared in CSV format and includes photographs in TIFF format. It is a valuable resource for researchers in the fields of archaeology, ancient history, and cultural heritage

The dataset includes microbial counts (CFU/g) before and after thermal treatment, core temperature recordings during heating, calculated F-values, and kinetic parameters derived from Geeraerd and Weibull inactivation models. It also includes growth parameters obtained during refrigerated storage using Baranyi and log-linear models. The dataset is intended to support the reuse of experimental measurements for the validation of predictive microbiology models under mild heat (LTLT) processing conditions

No full textThis study aims to assess the neuroprotective effect of AD4 against organophosphate-induced neurotoxicity. Experiments were conducted in a murine model that survives paraoxon exposure. Animals received either serum or AD4 as post-treatment therapy. Behavioral assessments were performed several days later to evaluate motor activity (HLA) and memory (NORT). Following euthanasia, proteins were extracted from distinct brain regions to analyze the expression of GPX, catalase, and lipid peroxidation marker 4-HNE. Additional animals were perfused, and brain sections were processed for immunohistochemical quantification of GFAP and IBA-1. The results demonstrate that AD4 26 mitigates oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and cognitive dysfunction following acute paraoxon intoxication
