    No full text
This dataset contains the code used to analyse the single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data, the raw count matrices and all the output obtained from running the code from the manuscript "A Notch trans-activation to cis-inhibition switch underlies hematopoietic stem cell aging" by Matteini et al. scRNA-seq was applied on sorted Lin- Sca1+ cKit+ (LSK) cells from the bone marrow of young and aged C57Bl6 mice and the raw FASTQ files can be found under the GEO accession numbers GSE197070 and GSE269953 (only young and aged controls used in this analysis). The code is in an easily reproducible format, as an Rmarkdown notebook that contains comments that describe all the steps in the analysis. To start reproducing it, download all the files, open the "LSK_scRNAseq_data_analysis.Rmd" file in an Rstudio session and start following its instructions. This repository also contains the supplementary and raw data included in the manuscript

Replication data for: Palaeoecological context of Homo aff. erectus (ATE7-1) at Sima del Elefante (late Early Pleistocene, Atapuerca, Spain), inferred from the herpetofaunal assemblage

    No full text
The data set contains two Shape files with its associated data: one corresponding to the 5 km2 area created around the current location of the Sima del Elefante site (Sierra de Atapuerca, Burgos, Spain), and the other corresponding to the Occupied Distribution Areas (ODA) of the amphibians and reptiles species present in the late Early Pleistocene of Sima del Elefante TE7. The ODA has been calculated by removing areas exceeding maximum altitudinal limit for all species in the assemblage (i.e., 2100 m). Both Shape files are projected in WGS 84 geographic reference coordinate system. The climatic and palaeoclimatic parameters presented in the associated publication have been calculated from these files

Psychometric properties of I-DAQ and INCA questionnaires in a sample of Spanish young offenders

    No full text
This dataset includes the data used in the posters presented at the 4th World Conference on Personality, XII Jornadas de la Asociación Iberoamericana para la Investigación de las Diferencias Individuales, and XIII Jornadas de la Asociación Iberoamericana para la Investigación de las Diferencias Individuales. More especifically it includes data about 150 Spanish young offenders (82.0% male) from Tarragona (Spain), with ages between 15 and 19 years old. This sample of young offenders was recruited from open intervention programs in the province of Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). These programs are measures of criminal responsibility that are carried out in the social and family environment of the young person, so they do not involve deprivation of liberty. The data includes their ages, gender, responses to the Indirect-Direct Aggression Questionnaire (I-DAQ), and responses to the Inventory of Callous-unemotional traits and Antisocial behaviour (INCA questionnaire). Replication data for "Social movements are transformative agents for biodiversity conservation"

    No full text
This dataset was created in order to document the analysis of the manuscrit "Social movements are transformative agents for biodiversity conservation". Civil society has long been a catalyst for social change by reshaping structures, influencing values, and challenging power dynamics; however, its role in driving transformative change for biodiversity remains underexplored. To address this gap, we analyze 2,801socio-environmental mobilizations documented in the Environmental Justice Atlas (EJAtlas). These mobilizations produce diverse outcomes that reveal distinct spatial, temporal, and sectoral patterns and proactively and reactively respond to environmental impacts across the globe. Notably, about 40% of these mobilizations occur within the top 30% of global priority lands for species conservation and their actions contribute to the achievement of key Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework targets focused on ecosystem protection, restoration, sustainable use, and inclusive spatial planning. Yet, one-third of mobilizations face repression, criminalization, or violence—pressures that are even more common in high-priority conservation areas. Moreover, mobilizations facing repressive outcomes contest environmental threats relevant for the KMGBF targets more extensively than those with progressive outcomes, underscoring the risks faced by movements driving biodiversity protection in critical regions. To amplify the transformative potential of socio-environmental mobilizations, we emphasize the importance of recognizing, strengthening, and protecting them through coordinated action among diverse social actors. By fostering collaboration and targeted resource allocation, these efforts can empower socio-environmental mobilizations to catalyze meaningful and lasting change for biodiversity conservation

Replication Data for: Thermal performance evaluation of a double skin façade with latticework solar protection: a case study in a humid tropical climate (Panama)

    No full text
This study is based on replicating and analyzing annual data on the thermal performance of a double-skin façade with a lattice exterior, which was implemented in a classroom at the University of Panama in a humid tropical climate. April was selected as the reference month for the detailed analysis because it is statistically the hottest month of the year, according to the case study's historical climate data. Sensors were placed on the exterior skin (1A) and the interior skin (1B), while the cavity between both skins is monitored by a thermo-hygrometer labeled as TH1. The methodological process was developed in two main phases. First, the model was calibrated using energy simulations in DesignBuilder with the EnergyPlus calculation engine. This stage included comparing real data obtained through in situ monitoring with simulation results to validate the model's accuracy. Second, nine different hypotheses (H) were analyzed by modifying the configuration characteristics of the façade, such as the lattice arrangement, the presence or absence of an intermediate chamber, and the classroom's position relative to the façade.
