Vernacular names of wild edible fungi in Catalan Linguistic Area
The Catalan Linguistic Area (CLA) is a mycophile territory where interest in traditional edible fungi is increasing due to their gastronomic interest. This dataset compile a list of edible fungi taxa identified in the CLA with their vernacular names
Supplementary material of Characterisation of the bone-sedimentary matrix interphase and its influence on mechanical cleaning
The present project contains the documentation carried out using microscopic computed tomography of three bone specimens originating from the sites of Gran Dolina and Galería (Sierra de Atapuerca, Burgos) and Roc de les Orenetes (Girona), all located in Spain. This documentation consists of the complete scanning of the specimens in order to study the interaction between the bone surface and the surrounding sedimentary matrix, thereby allowing for an assessment of how this interaction influences the cleaning process of the specimens. Furthermore, this documentation enables further study of the specimens, as histological slides were prepared for analysis following the scanning process — a procedure that involves the partial destruction of the specimens. The current models were produced using a GE Phoenix V/TOME/SX scanner located at the Plateforme Aquitaine de Caractérisation des Matériaux (PLACAMAT) laboratory at the Université de Bordeaux
Andorran ethnomycology: traditional knowledge about fungi
Andorra is a mycophile region where traditional edible fungi play a significant role in local gastronomy. This dataset compiles all recorded data from an ethnobotanical (ethnomycological) survey conducted in Andorra. It includes information on medicinal, culinary, and other uses of fungi, as well as data on poisonous species and the vernacular names of all recorded taxa
Replication data for: The internal democracy of the Crisis Parties in Western Europe: a quantitative analysis of the role of digitalization, ideology and populism
This dataset contains all the variables included in the Political Parties Database Project (PPDB) Round 2 and in the Populism and Political Parties Expert Survey (POPPA) Wave 1 for the political parties from the Western Europe countries that include Crisis Parties with some new variables added (consult the document "Readme.txt" for more information) which are the dependent and explanatory variables of our research on the internal democracy of the Crisis Partie
Replication Data for: Compositional and nutritional value of lupin cultivars: Identifying high-protein seeds for enhanced protein isolate production and phytochemical valorisation
Lupine is a highly sustainable protein source in the Mediterranean region due to its temperature, water, and soil requirements. This work evaluated eight cultivars from different cultivated lupin species —L. albus (Estoril, Celina, and Frieda), L. angustifolius (Giribita and Carabor), and L. luteus (Acos, Cardiga, and a commercial mixture)— in Europe as alternative protein sources. Each cultivar was assessed in terms of proximate composition, phytochemical content, and protein extraction yield. The findings revealed significant inter- and intra-species variability in protein, total dietary fibre, and fat content among the studied cultivars. Lupin protein profile was found to be particularly rich in essential amino acids, including leucine and lysine, as well as beneficial unsaturated fatty acids across all evaluated cultivars. The studied phytochemicals, especially quinolizidine alkaloids, vary significantly among species, while cultivars within the same species showed a more consistent profile. The wet extraction process yielded high-purity protein isolates with favourable extraction efficiency. These findings highlight the potential of lupin for diverse applications in the food and industrial sectors. Cultivar selection is essential to enhance protein extraction yields and colour, as well as to consider lupin as a source of various phytochemicals for valorisation
Replication data for: Cricket powder (Acheta domesticus) nutritional and techno-functional properties and effects of solid-state fermentation with Pleurotus ostreatus and Rhizopus oligosporus
This database contains nutritional and techno-functional properties of cricket powder and the obtained products after sterilization and solid-state fermentation with Pleurotus ostreatus and Rhizopus oligosporus. The ingredients were subjected to sterilization (autoclave) at 121 °C for 15 min, followed by solid-state fermentation with Pleurotus ostreatus or Rhizopus oligosporus after inoculation of suspended mycelium and incubation at 28 °C for 10 days (P. ostreatus) or 4 days (R. oligosporus) in sterile containers. Total nitrogen, non-protein nitrogen, fat, amino acids, indispensable amino acids score, fatty acids, pH, foaming capacity (FC), emulsion stability (ES), water absorption capacity (WAC), oil absorption capacity (OAC), least gelling concentration (LGC) and protein solubility (PS) were determined in the raw, autoclaved and fermented ingredients, to assess the effect of sterilization and fermentation on nutritional and techno-functional properties of cricket powder. The results obtained were discussed in a scientific publication (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ifset.2025.104066)
Replication Data for Ecological Momentary Assessment of the stress-recovery process through technology mHealth in sports: a scoping review
The search for the primary studies was carried through four databases: APA PsycInfo by ProQuest, PubMed by US National Center for Biotechnology Information, Web of Science Core Collection by Clarivate, and SPORTDiscus by EBSCOHost. The search strategy followed the Peer Review of Electronic Search Strategies (PRESS)(McGowan et al., 2016) and PRISMA for Searching (PRISMA-S) guidelines (Rethlefsen et al., 2021), and consisted of three groups of search terms referring to: a) sports and physical activity, b) wireless/wearable technologies and mobile applications, and c) training load or stress-recovery state. We also added a fourth group of terms preceded by the boolean operator NOT to improve the specificity of the search strategy. The search was performed on the 6th of April 2025 and was limited by time period (2012-2025) and publication language (English, Spanish)
