Replication Data for: Shaping adolescents’ gender stereotypes of scientists through role models developing communal goals
No full textThis research consists of two studies conducted after manipulating two basic characteristics of the person working in science (their gender and the opportunity to develop communal tasks). The first study analyzes secondary students’ expression of stereotypes about people working in science and their attitudes towards scientists. The second study examines the effect this manipulation has on students’ positivity towards science careers and the enactment of communal goals. The results suggest the potential role that communal affordances play in the enactment of positive attitudes towards people working in science

Results of a mRNA array of the NEFRONA study
No full textThis dataset comprise the results of a mRNA array of whole blood from 10 cases and 10 control patients of the NEFRONA study. Cases are patients with progression of atherosclerosis after 2 years whereas controls are patients in which the disease remains stable. Progression of atherosclerosis was defined as an increase in the number of arterial territories with atheroma plaque. Patients were matched by sex, age, CKD stage, diabetes and hipertension. For more details please refer to Dolade et al. B- and T-lymphocyte attenuator could be a new player in accelerated atherosclerosis associated with chronic kidney disease. No full textThe dataset contains six shape files with its associated data: The files BL_LvlD1_ODA, BL_LvlD2_ODA and BL_LvlE_ODA correspond to the Occupied Distribution Areas (ODA) of the amphibian and squamata reptile species present in the analysed levels of the Early Pleistocene Barranco León site. The ODA for these levels has been calculated by projecting the niche envelope of Ophisaurus sp. over the initial distribution areas of the species. The file FN3_Lvl5 corresponds to the distribution areas of the amphibian and squamata reptile species present in the analysed level 5 of the Early Pleistocene site of Fuente Nueva 3. This distribution was calculated by the application of the Mutual Ecogeographic Range method. The climatic and palaeoclimatic parameters presented in the related publication have been calculated from these files. The file OrceMuni_Actual corresponds to the geographical area of the municipality of Orce from where the current climatic values have been calculated. The file HyKo_ODA corresponds to the calculated ODA for Hyallosaurus koellikeri. This refined distribution has been calculated by removing areas exceeding the maximum altitudinal limit of the specie (i.e., 2000 m), and by selecting the areas with the vegetation cover requirements described for H. koelliekeri (i.e., evergreen broadleaf tree cover values above 13.1%). Shape files are projected in the WGS 84 geographic reference coordinate system

No full textThis dataset contains information collected during the research project about physical health assets available in Tarragona, their geolocation, accessibility from residents' locations, and the prescription of these assets by healthcare professionals. It provides detailed cartographic data obtained through fieldwork (years 2022-2023), municipal census population data (2021), data on average net household income (2021), geolocation and features of physical health assets (sports equipment and outdoor recreational areas), as well as results from a survey addressed to healthcare professionals from Tarragona's basic health areas regarding physical activity prescription. The dataset aims to promote the utilization of health resources to improve population health and quality of life, particularly among older adults, facilitating informed decision-making for healthcare professionals and public managers

No full textThe data provided corresponds to the molecular dynamics simulations performed for the wild-type (WT) and E220A mutant of HvoExoI glycosyl hydrolase in covalent complex with glucose (reaction intermediate) and with laminaripentaose bound. The data was used to study the effect of the mutation and how this area affects the correct positioning of the catalytic water and, thus, catalysis.
Three repicates of 1 microsecond each were performed for each system using the AMBER program.
For each replicate (r0, r1 and r2), around 10,000 PDB files of the enzyme:substrate complexes are provided

No full textEl presente Dataset recoge la información y resultados derivados del estudio titulado "Acoso escolar, práctica deportiva, neuroticismo y trastorno de salud mental. Un estudio retrospectivo en una muestra de población clínica". El estudio incluyó a 221 personas adultas con un diagnóstico de salud mental, procedentes de entidades del tercer sector de las comunidades autónomas de Cataluña y Madrid. El archivo de datos (formato .sav) contiene los siguientes datos que responden al género, la práctica deportiva durante la adolescencia (sí/no), la suma de las 50 preguntas del autotest Cisneros (Índice AE), las puntuaciones en las dimensiones salientes a los 60 ítems del NEO-FII-3 (neuroticismo, extraversión, apertura, amabilidad y responsabilidad) y número de trastornos mentales diagnosticados. Además, se incluye un archivo SPV con los resultados del análisis estadístico realizado con SPSS Statistics 30.0. En él se incluyen: estadísticas descriptivas de la muestra, pruebas de normalidad, pruebas de Mann-Whitney (para AE según género y práctica deportiva), pruebas de Kruskal-Wallis (para AE según número de trastornos) y tres modelos de regresión lineal por pasos con el Índice de AE como variable dependiente. Estos modelos incluyen como predictores la práctica deportiva, el número de trastornos mentales y el nivel de neuroticismo. El modelo final explicó el 39,6% de la varianza del AE. Todos los datos del estudio han sido anonimizados y son reproducibles
