Replication Data for: Mycobacterium-based immunotherapy modulates microbiota in the orthotopic murine model of bladder cancer

    No full text
Datasets for supplemental figures of binary survival data (Supplementary Figure 1) and body weight dataset (Supplementary Figure 2), for the study "Mycobacterium-based immunotherapy modulates microbiota in the orthotopic murine model of bladder cancer": The once-held belief in the sterility of the urinary tract has been challenged by the discovery of a resident urinary microbiota. Some studies have observed differences in microbiota between healthy individuals and bladder cancer patients, although results show disparity, and a clear differentiated profile has not been proven. The bladder microbiota may influence tumor progression and response to therapies, including Mycobacterium bovis BCG intravesical instillations. The interference or synergy mechanisms between bladder and/or gut microbiota and BCG treatment remain unknown. This study evaluates for the first time the impact of intravesical instillations of BCG and Mycobacterium brumae, a non-pathogenic immunomodulatory species, on microbiota composition of bladder tissue and cecal stool in healthy and tumor-bearing mice. Our results showed that mycobacterial instillations enhanced microbial richness but reduced Actinobacteria abundance across groups in the gut. At the family level, Muribaculaceae and Bacteroidaceae were significantly enriched in tumor-bearing mice, whereas BCG-treated animals showed lower Muribaculaceae and higher Rikenellaceae abundance. Regarding bladder microbiota, Staphylococcaceae dominated in M. brumae-treated healthy mice, while Enterococcaceae was abundant in all other groups except BCG-treated tumor-bearing mice. At genus level, Escherichia and Shigella were markedly reduced in mycobacteria-treated tumor-bearing mice, while Burkholderia was more prevalent in untreated bladders. Alpha diversity increased in cecal stool following M. brumae instillations, regardless of tumor status. In contrast, BCG reduced bladder microbiota richness in tumor-bearing mice. Beta diversity analyses revealed subtle, non-significant clustering among groups. These findings highlight how intravesical mycobacterial therapy modulates richness and diversity of microbiota composition in distinct anatomical sites, underlying the complex interplay between host, tumor, and immunotherapy

Replication data for Connection over creation: hydrological connectivity drives post-restoration community assembly in coastal ponds

    No full text
This dataset contains biological and environmental data collected from pond ecosystems in La Pletera salt marsh to evaluate the effects of pond age and hydrological connectivity on aquatic communities. The dataset is organised into two components: (i) taxonomic data, provided as a CSV file, which includes species occurrence and abundance records of aquatic macroinvertebrates identified at the sampling sites, and (ii) environmental data, also in CSV format, which includes physicochemical parameters of the water and habitat quality variables measured during the surveys. The dataset is intended to facilitate analyses of community composition, biodiversity, and the influence of environmental variables on aquatic assemblages. The dataset was generated in the context of a study on biodiversity patterns in ponds. The temporal coverage spans three sampling years (2016, 2017 and 2022), allowing comparisons across time. The dataset is relevant for researchers interested in freshwater ecology, community assembly processes, and the role of connectivity in shaping biodiversity.

RISC-V hardware attack traces on on-chip hardware performance counters (HARPY-V Dataset)

    No full text
Dataset containing the monitoring of various hardware performance counters (HPCs) associated with the proof of concept for 16 side-channel attacks (access-retired, evict-reload, fence-flush, flush-fault, flush-fault-ret, flush-flush, flush-reload, ghostwrite, iflush-reload, interrupt-timing, page-walk, spectre-rsb, spectre-v1, spectre-v2, timer-drift, tlb-evict); some are successful and others are not, modified so that the attack occurs more frequently, along with the data obtained for 16 benign programs/reference sets (bitcoin, bubble-sort, bzip2, coremark, dhrystone, ffmpeg, mandelbrot, matrix, mybench, polybench, sha256sum, sieve, speedtest, stream, stress_c, stress_m). All programs are executed on a RISC-V architecture, specifically the Xuantie C910 processor, with RV64GCV architecture. The selection of hardware attacks used to collect the data was carried out by analyzing the characteristics of the computer, as well as the available mitigations, to determine whether the machine was vulnerable to each of them. It was concluded that all attacks were successful except evict-reload, flush-fault, flush-flush, spectre-v1, and tlb-evict; which failed in some of their iterations. These attacks were included to consider all possible malicious strategies available when training the agent. The selection of benign programs was mainly based on reference sets that offered reliable and reproducible execution behavior, thus allowing effective comparison with the attack workloads. A selection of different reference sets with varied approaches was made to ensure optimal coverage of the dataset. Finally, data from all available counters on the Xuantie C910 processor were collected one by one and then merged into a single dataset for each program for analysis. The time column is approximate and should not used to train the agent

Experimental data sets for the evolution of temperature for different daytime radiative cooling tests

    No full text
This dataset corresponds to a study aimed at investigate the parameters influencing the design of a test box used to evaluate the performance of Daytime Radiative Cooling (DRC) materials. The files of the data set correspond to time series for several days in summer showing the evolution of temperature on the surface of the DRC material or the air gap between the surface and the windshield. Each file corresponds to a particular parameter, which is studied in a side-by-side methodology. Each file is associated to a figure of the paper "Experimental Investigation of Parameters Influencing Test Box and Material Behavior in Daytime Radiative Cooling Measurements"
