MTLS_point_cloud_generation
Matlab implementation to generate 3D point clouds from data acquired with VLP-16 and GNSS GPS1200+. This project is a Matlab implementation to generate 3D point clouds from data acquired with a mobile terrestrial laser scanner (MTLS) comprised of a LiDAR sensor Velodyne VLP-16 (Velodyne LIDAR Inc., San Jose, CA, USA) and a GNSS position sensor GPS1200+ (Leica Geosystems AG, Heerbrugg, Swizeland). This implementation was used to generate the point clouds provided in LFuji-air dataset, which contains 3D LiDAR data of 11Fuji apple trees with the corresponding fruit position annotations
Lamiaceae ethnobotanical data from Mediterranean region
Lamiaceae are especially rich in the Mediterranean region and that one, contributing significantly to its floristic diversity. In fact, the Mediterranean is the world’s second-largest biodiversity hotspot and, consequently, a hotspot of ethnobiodiversity. This dataset collects all the ethnobotanical information about medicinal and food uses recorded in the Mediterranean region following a systematic review following PRISMA 2020

Replication data for Normative data for the Comprehensive Aphasia Test in Catalan (CAT-CAT)
The dataset comprises the results of 110 Catalan-speaking control participants who completed the Catalan Comprehensive Aphasia Test (CAT-CAT; Salmons et al., 2021). The participants were all bilingual Spanish–Catalan speakers. The goal of the study was to provide normative data in Catalan. The materials of the test can be found at https://ddd.uab.cat/record/25014
[ENG]The Study and Recovery of Musical Heritage project being developed by the UB and the CSIC, together with the CRAI Biblioteca de Fons Antic de la Universitat de Barcelona, the Grupo de Investigación Patrimonio Musical Histórico de la Institución Milá y Fontanals de Investigación en Humanidades of the CSIC, the Archdiocese of Barcelona, the Barcelona Cathedral, the Arxiu de l’Església de Santa Maria del Pi, and the Oratory of Sant Felip Neri in Barcelona, and, in collaboration with the Barcelona Music Museum, has recovered musical heritage: a musical piece by Carles Baguer (1768-1808) which is found in the manuscript Ms.1378 of the music collection of theCRAI Biblioteca de Fons Antic de la Universitat de Barcelona. This dataset contains two files:
- Transcription of the Sonata in E minor by Carles Baguer from the manuscript Ms. 1378.
- Sound recording of the piece performed by: Dani Espasa, with a piano Steinway, model D, on loan from the Barcelona Music Museum
GBIF filtetred occurrence datasets for 44 tree species
GBIF filtered datasets used for defining the species climatic niche in Batllori et al. "Effects of niche marginality on hot drought tree mortality in angiosperms and gymnosperms"
Each file (.Rdata file) is designated by the name of a species and contains two columns, longitude (long) and latitude (lat) in WGS1984 coordinate system.
For most species, GBIF data was downloaded in July 2020 using the dismo R package and filtered following the steps described below. Data for the following species was manually downloaded Betula pendula, Fagus sylvatica, Olea europaea, Picea abies, Pinus halepensis, Pinus pinaster, Pinus sylvestris, Quercus robur.
Ocurrence records filtering:
1. removing fossil specimes
2. removing "duplicate" species on the basis of 'speciesKey' (if more than speciesKey one was present the one with more records was retained)
3. when available, filtering for coordinate uncertainty in meters (for a 1x1 km grid the diagonal value is 707). Note that NA values were retained and that when such filtering yielded very low sample (<100 records) this step was omitted.
4. filtering occurrences registered after 1950. Note that when such filtering yielded very low sample (<100 records) this step was omitted.
5. removing duplicates based on geographic coordinates
6. selecting only one observation in each 1x1km pixel (using the gridSample function from dismo package)
7. retaining only lon-lat coordinates
This derived dataset was created following GBIF instructions (https://www.gbif.org/derived-dataset/about).
The file "GBIF_citation_Derived_dataset.csv" contains the datasetKey and number of records retained in the filtered datasets for all species
Replication Data for: Role of the initial topobathymetry in washover deposit formation during extreme events
Data to perform one of the simulations (P3 AU case), including all the files required to run XBeach model: the one with the input parameter values, the ones with waves and sea-level data, and the ones with the grid and initial topobathymetry. Regarding the initial topobathymetries, the five initial profiles are included, as well as several Matlab scripts to i) extract representative profiles out of topobathymetric data, and ii) superimpose morphological patterns. The initial and final topobathymetries, as well as the instantaneous volumes and wavelengths of the washover deposits for all simulations, are provided as MAT files. Finally, Matlab scripts (including all needed functions) to analyse the XBeach model outputs and to obtain the figures displayed in the main manuscrip

Replication data for Graph tools for analyzing trophic assemblies in the isotopic space
This dataset contains case study data, R code, and a step-by-step tutorial for building and analyzing networks derived from bulk isotope signals. It walks users through the process of generating isotopic networks and calculating a range of structural metrics, including connectance, modularity, and nestedness. Additionally, it covers the computation of centrality measures and the identification of topological roles associated with different isotopic guilds represented in the networks
Comparison of active and passive sampling in air
The data contain concentration values of contaminants in air samples. The concentration were determined using two sampling mode: either passive or active followed by thermal desorption with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
The active sampling included up to 20 samples, and the passive sampling a total of 6.
Both sampling procedures and data is collected in different sites near to the petrochemical are
