God in Modern Alienation: Theological Reflections on Tawheed and the Trinity in a Secular Context
This study examines the phenomenon of God's alienation in modern secular societies through a comparative theological analysis of Tawheed in Islam and the Trinity in Christianity, using these concepts as its primary units of analysis. The research aims to examine how these two fundamental doctrines respond to the challenges of secularism, individualism, and materialism in shaping modern religious consciousness. Using a literature-based comparative theological approach combined with hermeneutic-analytical methods, this study integrates classical and contemporary sources, along with sociological data from global surveys, such as those conducted by the Pew Research Center and the World Values Survey. The findings reveal three key factors contributing to spiritual alienation: the crisis of transcendence, the individualization of belief, and the dominance of materialistic culture. Despite doctrinal differences, both Tawheed and the Trinity face similar struggles in maintaining theological relevance among younger and urban populations that are increasingly skeptical of religious authority. The study contributes to comparative theology by proposing a contextual model for reinterpreting the concept of divinity that balances transcendence with human experience. It also highlights the need to strengthen interfaith dialogue, digital engagement, and contextual theology to ensure that the concept of God remains a transformative moral and spiritual force in the twenty-first century

The results revealed a significant increase in the understanding and practice of the values of Religious Moderation. Before the training, most participants situs toto did not fully understand this concept; however, after the mentoring, they exhibited positive changes in their social and religious behavior
The Synergy of School and Parent: A Strategy to Improve the Quality of Educational Services
This study aims to evaluate the level of parental satisfaction with the educational services at SDIT Kartika Buana and to formulate strategies for improving service quality through a synergistic approach between the school and parents. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) approach. The sample consisted of 50 respondents randomly selected from a population of 319 students. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire developed based on the five dimensions of service quality as defined by Kotler and Armstrong, as well as Zeithaml and Bitner, namely: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings indicate an average satisfaction level of 3.93 and an expectation level of 4.20, resulting in a conformity level of 95%. The Cartesian analysis revealed that the quality of the learning program, teacher competence, and the alignment between cost and educational quality are key priorities for improvement. Meanwhile, teacher behavior and the Tahfidz (Qur’an memorization) program fall under the category of aspects that should be maintained. This study highlights that synergy between the school and parents is a critical strategy in maintaining and enhancing the quality of educational services, particularly within integrated Islamic elementary education institutions
Direct Method in Small Group ELT Sessions: Investigating Students’ Perceptions of Comprehension and Engagement
Direct Method is a teaching strategy that emphasizes the full use of the target language. Its application can encourage students' active engagement and in-depth understanding of the target language. However, its application in large groups has several limitations, such as limited time for individual feedback and low student participation. Therefore, the use of the Direct Method in small group sessions can improve students' comprehension and engagement in English learning. This study explored students' perceptions of the Direct Method in ELT small group sessions, focusing on comprehension and engagement. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five English Language Education students who had experienced the application of the Direct Method in small group sessions. The results showed that the Direct Method significantly improved students' comprehension, especially in vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills, by familiarizing them with English and providing opportunities for them to express their ideas. Furthermore, the small group sessions allowed for more focused interaction between teachers and students, resulting in more detailed feedback and increased student confidence. The study also highlighted the importance of teachers as a key role in fostering student engagement through interaction, motivation, and feedback, as well as the importance of incorporating relevant and interesting learning topics to increase participation. Despite challenges related to students' varying levels of English proficiency, these findings confirm the effectiveness of the Direct Method in small group sessions in promoting active learning and improving comprehension

A Shariah-Compliant Model for Urban Development: Langsa Halal Industry and A Hub-City
This study explores Kota Langsa, Aceh Province, Indonesia's potential as a halal industry hub-city, addressing gaps in Shariah-compliant urban models. Novelty lies in integrating halal principles with the hub-city concept, grounded in Islamic values of justice, fairness, and sustainability, offering a fresh theoretical framework for Islamic urban economics. Adopting a phenomenological design, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and document analysis were conducted to collect data from the stakeholders. As a result, in the purpose of ensuring halal authenticity, there were significant challenges of inadequate infrastructure, lack of skilled workers, and weak regulations. Responding to the challenges, a five-pillar strategy is proposed: Halal Industry Cluster Development, Infrastructure Enhancement, Human Capital Building, Regulatory Strengthening, and Public-Private Partnerships. This model contributes to Islamic economic theory by showing how to embed ethical practices and social responsibility into urban development. It provides actionable recommendations for policymakers, urban planners, and Islamic finance experts, helping Kota Langsa to drive regional growth by bridging urban development with halal ecosystems
Forecasting the unemployment rate in West Java Province using VARX and SVR methods
This study discusses the forecasting of the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in West Java Province using two time series approaches: Vector Autoregressive with Exogenous variables (VARX) and Support Vector Regression (SVR). The dataset consists of monthly observations from 2018 to 2023, including variables such as OUR, the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and the Human Development Index (HDI). Based on the optimal lag selection using the AIC, the VARX model produced the best lag configuration of (5,2), consisting of five lags for endogenous variables and two for exogenous variables. Meanwhile, the SVR model was developed through Grid Search to find the best parameter combination, resulting in a linear kernel with and . The evaluation results showed that the SVR model performed better than VARX, with MSE, RMSE, and MAPE values of 0.24, 0.49, and 6%, respectively, lower than those of the VARX model, which reached 0.68, 0.82, and 8.4%. SVR was selected as the best model and used to forecast the OUR until the end of 2025. The forecast results indicated a spike in OUR at the beginning of 2024 at 8.52%, followed by a declining trend that continues and stabilizes in the range of 7.96%-8.12% by the end of 2025. In conclusion, SVR outperforms VARX in predictive accuracy, while VARX remains useful for analyzing inter-variable relationships
Polemic of Religious Intolerance among Indonesian Users on YouTube
Digital space has now become a medium for contestation and competition, including in the field of religion, in the context of Indonesia's multireligious society. YouTube is one of the social media that has become a digital space that can give rise to polemics of intolerance in religious harmony in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to find out the polemic of religious intolerance on YouTube channels. Using qualitative methods and a netnographic approach, data collection was carried out using YouTube media with content that is in accordance with the orientation of this study, namely the polemic of religious intolerance. The results show that there are 15 YouTube channels that upload 20 video contents about religious debates, responses to the uploaded videos show various comments from netizens who claim the truth of their respective religions. The implications of claims regarding religious truth often manifest in intolerance, conflict, hatred, and even war. This study is expected to contribute to the prevention of religious intolerance and support religious moderation in order to achieve a more harmonious and tolerant religious life
The role of mediator and moderator variables in suicidal ideation among adolescents in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Adolescent mental health is influenced by resilience, which is defined as the ability to face challenges. Low resilience renders adolescents vulnerable to loneliness due to limited social support, which in turn heightens the risk of suicidal ideation. Social support can bolster resilience while mitigating the negative effects of loneliness; however, research positioning resilience as a mediator and social support as a moderator in this relationship remains limited, particularly among adolescents in high-risk areas such as Gunungkidul. This study aims to explore the role of resilience as a mediator and social support as a moderator in the relationship between loneliness and suicidal ideation. A quantitative cross-sectional correlational method was employed, together with a cluster random sampling technique. The sample comprised 420 students, consisting of 308 females and 112 males. The data collection technique used a social support scale, a resilience scale, and a suicidal ideation scale. The data were analyzed through a series of path analyses with the causal step method and MRA. Social support is shown to significantly moderate the direct effect of loneliness on resilience (p = .006 < .05), which indicates that social support increases. However, such support is unable to moderate the direct effect of resilience on suicidal ideation (p = .196 > .05), nor of loneliness on suicidal ideation (p = .338 > .05). The mediation effect test shows that loneliness does not have a significant effect on suicidal ideation when the resilience variable is controlled (p = .185 > .05). Regression model 2 in the mediation effect test indicates that only resilience has a significant effect on suicidal ideation (-.184 p < .05). The implications of the study include the understanding that suicidal ideation will be lower if accompanied by a decrease in loneliness and an increase in resilience and social support
Actualizing Malay communication ethics in social media: Study of the Kitab Kumpulan Ringkas Berbetulan Lekas
This research stems from the rampant negative impact of social media as a medium of communication in the cyber era, such as crime, cyber violence, sexual harassment, pornographic content, gossipy infotainment, and so on. This study uses the content analysis method that is extracted from the parts of values of communication ethics in Kitab Kumpulan Ringkas Berbetulan Lekas (KRBL) written by Raja Ali Kelana. The urgency of this research is part of the effort to answer the needs of today based on past experiences and as part of maintaining the value of wisdom that lives in the treasury of knowledge in Malay. The results of the study of the content of communication ethics in KRBL show that the principles of communication ethics contained therein are speaking the truth, being knowledgeable, not indulging in disgrace, speaking softly, not arguing, and maintaining confidentiality. These values seem to be very normative and in line with the values in Islamic teachings and universal values in communication. The content of communication ethics values in KRBL is also still quite relevant to be actualized in social media. From this study, it is also revealed that the intellectual legacy of Nusantara figures enriches the study of Islamic communication, necessitating further research on different figures, approaches, and subjects.
