Drawing Shape Using The Demonstration Method At Nurul Islam Indonesia SMP School, Medan City
Get PDFThis research was motivated by the difficulties of class VIII-1 students at Nurul Islam Indonesia Middle School in making shading gradations when learning to draw shapes. Previously, 45% of students reached KKM and 55% did not. The main cause is the use of the lecture method and the lack of direction given by the teacher. This causes a lack of students interest in learning to draw shapes. The objectives of this research are 1) to determine the application of the demonstration method to the process of drawing cylindrical shapes using the black and white shading technique for class VIII students at SMP Nurul Islam Indonesia, 2) to improve the learning outcomes of 8th grade students in cylindrical drawing lessons at Nurul Islam Indonesia Middle School, Medan City. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in two cycles, each consisting of one meeting. The research results showed an increase in student interest from 81%, in cycle I to 100% in cycle II. Student learning outcomes increased from 54% (12 students) in cycle I to 77% (17 students) in cycle II. Thus the demonstration method has been shown to increase students’ interest and learning outcomes in drawing cylindrical shapes

Dua Garis Biru is a film that boldly tackles social issues still considered taboo in Indonesia, such as early marriage and sexual education. This research aims to analyze the representation of these issues through the character Dara, using a semiotic approach. The focus is on how audiovisual elements—narrative, visuals, and sound—contribute to conveying messages about sexuality and sexual education within the social and cultural context of Indonesia. The research method employed is qualitative, involving an in-depth analysis of cinematic narrative and media aesthetics. The findings explore how Dua Garis Biru portrays issues of sexuality outside the context of marriage through dialogue, visual symbols, and the use of sound elements that strengthen characterization and atmosphere, providing deeper insight into the themes presented in the film

Get PDFTuruk Laggai is a ritual healing dance of the Mentawai Islands community that involves Sikerei (shaman). This dance has mystical elements and is closely related to animistic beliefs. Over time, Turuk Laggai has been modified into a performing art aimed at entertainment, without losing the essence of its original movements. Modifications are evident in the costumes used, where kabid and sabok are replaced with black pants, and in the use of musical instruments where the Tuddukat used is smaller than the original. These modifications are carried out by members of the art studio, not by Sikerei, and have a significant impact on the cultural identity of the Mentawai community.This research uses the theory of modification proposed by Shils in Hand, supported by the opinions of Y. Sumandiyo Hadi regarding form. The purpose of this research is to explore the form and function of the Turuk Laggai modification in its performance art packaging and its impact on the cultural identity of the Mentawai Islands. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies.The results of the study indicate that the modification of Turuk Laggai into a performing art not only preserves cultural heritage but also enhances tourism and local economy appeal. However, this modification also results in commercialization that can obscure the original meaning of the dance as a sacred ritual. The local community has varied responses; some see it as a form of cultural preservation, while others feel the loss of sacred values. This research provides an important contribution to understanding the dynamics of traditional culture undergoing change and adaptation amidst modernization

The study aims to understand the effects of lighting arrangement on the film's visual mood and its implications for contemporary cinematography, as well as the psychological effects of lighting in film on viewers' perception and emotions. It also seeks to enhance the experience of claustrophobia using lighting as a narrative device to complement the tense atmosphere in the film's scenes. The results contribute to a broader discourse on cinematography's role in shaping film narrative structures, especially in creating deep visual narratives without relying on extensive settings or special effects. The bird is a pest for farmers, especially rice farmers, because the bird damages the rice before the farmers harvest it, the music accompanying the dance is the Talang Ojan Arts Group, this group is a late generation group that currently still exists in Talang Ojan Village, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency, the music performed is poetic and has a Malay rhythm, with small gong instruments and drums as rhythm guides. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Form of Presentation of White Bird Dance Music by the Talang Ojan Arts Group of Pali Regency, with a subfocus on analyzing the form of dance music structure of White Bird Dance Music.The stages of data collection in this study include (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation. And the research data validity stage uses, and the stages of analyzing this research data include (1) Data Reduction, (2) Data Presentation, (3) Conclusion. From the research, the results found that each song in the White Bird Dance Music has a part of its structure, namely the existence of one melodic phrase with a repeating period, the question phrase from the vocal rhythm and the answer phrase from the violin, each of these structures is always repeated in the next section only the song text is different

Salah satu yang bisa menjadi fashion dari sebuah kerajinan adalah Songket. Songket terbuat dari benang emas dengan berbagai motif yang akan menjadi busana modern dan tentunya fashionable. Jika dilihat dari perkembangan dunia fashion sekarang ini, songket tidak hanya dijadikan sebagai bawahan saja namun sudah banyak songket yang sudah dikombinasikan menjadi baju dan tas. Dalam penciptaan karya ini, teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik light painting. Light Painting berarti melukis cahaya dengan cara digerakkan menggunakan tangan dan direkam oleh kamera. Songket Halaban dalam fotografi fashion dengan songket menjadi objek dan light painting akan mendukung estetika karya foto nantinya. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan Songket Halaban dengan menggunakan Eksplorasi light painting sebagai penambah daya Tarik atau nilai estetikanya. Proses penciptaan karya ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan, perancangan, perwujutdan dan penyajian karya. Keseluruhan Songket yang dipakai di eksplorasikan dengan light painting akan menunjukkan ciri khas dari songket serta pola light paintinya. lensa, memori. Dalam proses pencarian jari diri ini, ilustrator pemula sering membandingkan karyanya dengan orang lain, takut gagal untuk memulai berkarya, tidak percaya diri dengan hasil karyanya, merasa tidak berkembang, memikirkan impresi dan jumlah pengikut di sosial media sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan rasa insecure yang dapat mempengaruhi produktifitas berkarya dan tujuan hidup seorang ilustrator. Berdasarkan peristiwa tersebut, solusi yang dapat penulis upayakan dalam mengatasi rasa insecure pada ilustrator pemula adalah merancang buku ilustrasi motivasi dengan judul “Redup dalam Warna”. Tujuan dari perancangan buku ilustrasi motivasi ini adalah untuk membuat konsep, melakukan proses perancangan, dan mengetahui visualisasi dari buku ilustrasi “Redup dalam Warna”. Adapun manfaat dari perancangan ini adalah diharapkan mampu membantu para ilustrator pemula agar dapat mengatasi rasa insecure-nya untuk lebih menghargai dan mengapresiasi karyanya. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah metode perancangan buku Andrew Haslam (2006), dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil perancangan buku ilustrasi dipilih sebagai media yang cocok untuk menyampaikan pesan kepada ilustrator disertai pesan berupa motivasi/quotes diakhir cerita yang diharapkan memberikan afirmasi positif dan menjadi salah satu motivasi untuk ilustrator pemula agar terus tetap berproses dalam berkarya

Get PDFPerkembangan teknologi terus memberikan pengaruh signifikan dalam berbagai aspek, termasuk kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran akuntansi perlu mengadopsi teknologi agar tetap relevan dengan kebutuhan industri dan perkembangan zaman. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru akuntansi dalam menggunakan aplikasi Accurate sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Kejobong ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan Problem-Based Learning (PBL) untuk memberikan pemahaman konseptual dan pengalaman praktis kepada 26 peserta. Kegiatan pelatihan dibagi menjadi dua sesi utama, yaitu Standar Akurat dan Mahir Akurat, yang dirancang untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan peserta dengan berbagai tingkat pemahaman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan peserta mengoperasikan aplikasi ini, khususnya dalam pencatatan transaksi dan penyusunan laporan keuangan. Sebagian besar peserta mengungkapkan kepuasan tinggi terhadap materi pelatihan yang relevan dan metode yang interaktif. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan peserta dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi Accurate ke dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah masing-masing. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan kompetensi guru untuk mendukung inovasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi
