Evaluating Fund Management in Zambia\u27s Local Government: A Case Study of Chongwe, Lusaka, and Kafue
This study explores the core of Zambia\u27s local government, focusing on the complexities of fund management. Through literature review and surveys involving local government officials and stakeholders, it uncovers challenges affecting effective fiscal governance. The research reveals hurdles faced by the Zambian local government in fund management, including a lack of transparency, inadequate budget planning, and limited financial management capacity. Despite these challenges, glimpses of progress emerge, showcasing ongoing efforts to improve budgetary processes and financial management practices. The study aims to assess the capacity of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in Zambia, specifically in Lusaka, Kafue, and Chongwe. The evaluation centers on the Auditor General\u27s Main Report for 2021, aiming for a comprehensive understanding of fund management outcomes. This research goes beyond the typical narrative, contributing significantly to the discourse on Zambian local governance. By identifying challenges and highlighting positive developments, it provides a roadmap for enhancing transparency, accountability, and financial management practices. Proposing actionable steps, the study advocates for improved transparency and accountability, increased capacity-building initiatives, and strengthened financial reporting and auditing mechanisms. If implemented, these recommendations have the potential to transform fund management practices in Zambian local government. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the importance of sustained efforts to improve fund management practices. It asserts that these efforts are not just desirable but essential for the effective functioning and sustainable development of Zambia\u27s local government. The study encourages stakeholders to embrace its findings and recommendations for a positive fiscal transformation
The Effect of Digitalization on Customer Satisfaction-A Case of a Bank in Zambia
This study examines how digitization affects customer satisfaction in a Bank in Zambia. With the financial industry rapidly changing due to technology, digital banking services have become crucial. Zambia\u27s banking sector has seen significant digitization in recent years, including mobile banking, online transactions, and ATM access. Therefore, it is essential for banks and policymakers to understand the impact of digitization on customer satisfaction. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect digitalization has on customer satisfaction at a local bank in Zambia. A survey strategy using structured questionnaires was employed to gather data. The findings highlight the importance of factors such as convenience, accessibility, speed, customer alerts for transactions, and real-time feedback in determining customer satisfaction in a digitized banking environment. The results of this study have valuable implications for both the bank and policymakers. Understanding how digitization influences customer satisfaction provides insights that drive strategic decisions to enhance customer experiences and loyalty in the digital era. The significance of digitization in the banking sector its ability to transform customer satisfaction is emphasized in the conclusion. Through an examination of the different aspects of this correlation, it provides insight into the obstacles and prospects that digitization offers to banks. These findings are crucial for remaining competitive and guaranteeing customer satisfaction in a constantly evolving and technology-driven industry, as digital banking continues to progress
Effect of Leadership Style on Employee Performance among the Employees of Information Technology in Chennai
The most important resources of an organization are the human resources as they have got a strategic role to play for the organizational success. The human resources also have got the potential to affect the organizational efficiency and effectiveness and hence the human resources have to managed for obtaining, maintaining and developing effective and efficient employees to achieve the goals of the organization. The objectives and goals of the organization can be accomplished only when there is an optimum performance exhibited by the human resources. For this purpose, there is a need for a leadership style to be followed within the organization for influencing, guiding and assessing every employee in the entity. The current study has been carried out to examine the impact of leadership style over the employee performance. The respondents of the study are Information Technology employees who have been selected through convenience sampling technique. The sample size of the study is 100 and the tool used for data collection is questionnaire. The analysis of the data has been done with the help of Regression. Results of analysis reveal that there is positive relationship between leadership style and employee performance
School-Hedging and Out-of-School: Explaining the Role of Insecurity, and Terrorism in the Contemporary Nigeria
This paper critically investigated the impact of insecurity on school attendance. It also examined the socio-economic consequences of insecurity and terrorism on children’s access to education following the SDG goal of education for all by 2063. The study adopted secondary sources of data collection from relevant and related documents, including the United Nations and its sub-agencies such as UNESCO and UNICEF and other extant literature. Data was thematically analysed. The findings showed that insecurity has a lasting impact on learners’ behaviour, emotions, mental health, academic performance, and stability at school. Maintaining that the culmination of these factors leads to school hedging by school-age children. Also, the study revealed that insecurity and kidnapping incidents can exacerbate and sustain the dynasty of poverty since education is one of the ways of breaking the chains of poverty, stating the need for targeted policy interventions to increase school enrolment and reduce the number of out-of-school children. It also confirmed that insecurity leads to a significant loss of human capital development and reduces a nation’s ability to build a skilled and competitive workforce. Mitigating insecurity, closing the gap of gender equality, granting scholarships, therapy sessions and infrastructure development among others were identified as factors that would improve school enrolment and attendance. The study recommends the importance of holistic efforts: the society, government, international organizations, civil society organizations and all stakeholders of peace and security to work in tandem towards the realization of peace and security and a safe and conducive learning environment for every child
Significance of Digital Technology in Transforming Marketing: Findings from a Qualitative Study
Markets and society today depend heavily on digital technology, and digital transformation is quickly emerging as a major area of corporate innovation. But since digital transformation is so complicated, businesses are still unable to properly recognize and take advantage of its prospects. This research looks into how businesses are presently using digital technology. The essay examines how digital transformation affects traditional marketing, including its function, structure, and tools, as it has the potential to alter the conventional value-creation process, which is largely engaged in marketing. The research employed a qualitative methodology by conducting in-depth interviews with managers employed by several Italian enterprises. The findings indicate that businesses utilize digital technology extensively, even if they frequently fall within the category of conventional tools, and that businesses are more "digitalized" than "digitally transformed." Digital technologies have an influence on marketing by enhancing the capabilities of pricing, channel management, market analytics, and client connection building to facilitate value co-creation. Through the use of varied knowledge and cross-functional experiences, organizational processes are becoming more effective and adaptable, while professional abilities are enhanced in numerous ways. Total with 95 employees the company has two branches at Bengaluru & Pune. However, behind its success, there were hidden problems with how the company was run. The way decisions were made had become too rigid, and the leaders were making choices without considering different opinions. Instead of being open and clear, the company had developed a secretive culture. Rajpara Technology is at a critical point where it needs big changes. To survive, it had to break down the barriers created by its own way of doing things and start being more transparent, accountable, and adaptable

The findings illustrate the effects of the pandemic on the paint manufacturing sector. Disruptions were not confined to operational aspects but also influenced the dynamics of customer expectations, workforce dynamics, and relationships within the supply chain.
