Psychological Health Valuation of Adults in the Present Covid-19 Situation
Get PDFThe Covid 19 pandemic affects many elements of a person\u27s life negatively. This reduced concern and considered the major problems that people – especially adolescents and young adults – are experiencing. In this regard, the study examined young adults\u27 mental health by looking at the relationship between welfare and several psychological characteristics, such as loneliness, suppression of mind, common anxiety, flexibility, and self-worth. A total of 134 young people (45 men and 89 women) aged 18 to 25 were recruited for the study by purposeful sampling. Information collection Questionnaires are used. The measurement measurements were the Rosenberg personality Scale, UCLA isolation Scale edition 3 and the Coping Capacity Questionnaire. The information was analysed by means of the coefficient of Pearson correlation and a z-test to determine results for various genres. In Pairson\u27s product time correlation test, the above psychological features were linked to well-being. Self-esteem, well-being, resilience and well-being were found to be moderately good. All had a negative association between general anxiety and well being, solitude and wellbeing, and suppression of thought and wellbeing. The results of the Z-test showed no significant differences in psychological variable scores among men and women, meaning that the whole community felt a sense of harmony in difficult times regardless of gender. Students\u27 Use of e-Learning Platforms
Get PDFThe subject of this study was students\u27 adoption of e-learning platforms in Uganda and Nigeria. The study\u27s goal was to look at the elements that influence students\u27 adoption of e-learning platforms. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) were used to create a questionnaire (T-O-E). In Uganda and Nigeria, data was obtained from 204 university students. When compared to Makerere University students, Kaduna State University students exhibit a higher level of e-Learning adoption. The actual use of e-learning was highly linked with perceived behavioural control and change agents. At the University of Nigeria, Technology development and behavioural intention to utilise systems have a substantial positive relationship with the actual use of e-learning at a Ugandan institution. Both planned behaviour theory and technology-organization-environment theory components are significant predictors of e-Learning adoption in the two universities, with 32.5 percent and 14.4 percent, respectively, according to multiple regression analyses. Honour killing is defined as the assassination of a person, whether male or female, who refuses to accept the family\u27s arranged marriage or decides to move her or his marital life according to her or his wishes solely because it jeopardizes the family\u27s honour. The family\u27s supreme authority looks after the family\u27s name but neglects to consider the love and affection shared among family members. I have discussed honour killing in India in my research work. This sort of murder occurs as a result of particular triggers, which are also examined in relation to the role of the law in honour killing. No one can be released free if they break the law, and in this case, it is a felony that violates various regulations designed to safeguard citizens. This crime is similar to many others, but it is distinct enough to be differentiated in the report. When the husband is of low social standing, it lowers the position and caste of the female family, prompting the male family members to murder the girl. But they forget that the girl is their kid and that while rank may be attained, a girl\u27s life can never be replaced, and that caste is less valuable than the girl\u27s life and love spent with them

They are primary sharing route for a wide range of the daily-use goods, such as fruits, vegetables, ready-to-wear clothes, home appliances, stationery, toys, newspapers, magazines and shoes among others. If they be removed from the urban marketplaces, it would create serious problem for vegetable and fruit growers and small-scale businesses that couldn\u27t afford to sell their goods via the formal sector\u27s costly distribution networks. The significance of this industry can not be overstated, particularly given the government\u27s inability to offer employment to India\u27s millions of jobless and underemployed citizens. Even the corporate sector can only absorb a small part of our growing workforce. Overall, employment in the official sector is decreasing, leaving the majority of Indians to fend for themselves. If governments wish to decrease unemployment and poverty in our nation, they should support people in the informal sector to develop and thrive. They play an important part in the economic development and growth of local economy. Municipal authorities see street sellers as nuisances and the encroachers on sidewalks pavements and they are unappreciative of the important services that the street vendors offer to the world\u27s common public. Vendors on the street offer essential services to urban people while surviving on their own business, limited resources, and labour. Impact of Honour Killings in Haryana, India
Get PDFThe research was carried out using an observational-analytical technique, as well as documented case study and content analysis approaches. The study shows that family members\u27 rejection of pre-marital relationships and daughters\u27 matrimonial choices, particularly inter-caste and inter-religious marriages, leads to honour-based violence. According to the report, a significant percentage of honour killings are committed as crimes of passion sparked by rapid provocation, such as when couples are caught in compromising situations by the females\u27 family members. Apart from the girls\u27 fathers and brothers, their moms, paternal and/or maternal relatives, family acquaintances, and even contract killers have all been directly involved in the murders. It has been noticed that the patriarchal society\u27s centuries-old conformist mindset does not allow girls to create pre-marital relationships or choose males of their own choosing for marriage with. Because of the community\u27s support and the law\u27s laxity, honour killings have become a common occurrence with socio-cultural validity. To combat the problem, it is urgently necessary to transform the mindset of bigoted patriarchal communities to become tolerant of their daughters\u27 matrimonial choices, particularly inter-caste and inter-religious marriages, in addition to enacting strict regulations and harsh punishments
Instability of Total Pulses in India

Mineral Supplements, Multivitamins, and Energy Drinks are Commonly Consumed
Get PDFIn India, there has been an increase in the use of energy drinks and dietary supplements. However, the benefit of taking multivitamins and nutritional mineral supplements on a regular basis is still debatable. The purpose of this study was to collect information on the types of nutritional mineral supplements and energy drinks consumed by school adolescents, with a focus on the impact of consumption on BMI (BMI). The study involved 120 high school adolescent students between the ages of 14 and 19. A semi-structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Diet-related questions were asked using a 24-hour dietary recall method, and the questionnaire also determined their physical activity. The subjects\u27 height and weight were measured, and their BMI was calculated. In this study, 55 percent of respondents said they had consumed energy and sports drinks in the previous two weeks, and 43 percent said they had consumed one or more types of multivitamin and nutritional mineral supplements without analysing their need or visiting a physician. Vitamin C (5%) and D (5%) were the most commonly consumed vitamins without a prescription, while iron (6%) and calcium (5%) were the most commonly consumed minerals without a prescription among the study participants. Curiosity was cited as a reason for using energy and sports drinks, followed by peer pressure, while students who consumed them cited perceived short-term health benefits and parental supply as common causes. The consumption of energy and sports drinks was also found to be statistically significant when measured by the body mass index (BMI). Thus, in order to be most relevant and effective, health education programmes should incorporate young people\u27s perceptions, aspirations, and motivations into the planning of interventions and activities
