An Assessment of Pertinent Social Circumstances on Childhood Cancer
Get PDFProgress in treating young cancer has increased the survival rate of the disease in recent years. Their accomplishment has brought the survivors a new challenge: to cope with their ordeal\u27s physical, psychological and social ramifications that may limit their social integration and growth. If a child is affected by cancer, people face a double vulnerability: they are young and they are unwell, exacerbated by the existence of a society that equates cancer with death and promotes its classification as a tabuous subject. The overarching purpose of the study is to look at social-health relationships and the need to integrate both points of view to foster the social development of survivors of paediatric cancer after therapy. A list of societal contexts, including families, schools, peer groups and associations, will be presented in this respect. The connections of the participants are transformed by overcoming oncological conditions in different circumstances, which lead to changes in their subjective well-being and the social pathways
Employment Challenges and Trends in India’s Rural Labour Market with the Impact of MGNREGA
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to look at development trends and patterns of structural change in India\u27s rural and labour markets. The rural labour strength have been moving from agricultural sector to non-agricultural sector for a living, after a long period of change (due to pain and growth-induced motives). Although the manufacturing sector lags, the building industry is a significant growing sector that employs rural people. Some improvements in rural areas have been made since the implementation of the MGNREGA rural employment development programme, but it has its own set of problems that experts are discussing. Furthermore, the rural labour market is plagued by high unemployment as a result of both the agricultural and non-farm sectors\u27 failure to absorb rural employees. Nonetheless, the continuing COVID-19 epidemic has worsened its situation by causing a job-loss catastrophe. The rural labour market\u27s future will become more unclear as a consequence of Covid pandemic-induced opposite migration of city workers to their villages, which has worsened food security and poverty issues in rural regions

Even basic financial services are still not available to the low income group. In spite of the fact that the banking business is expanding both vertically and horizontally, hence this scheme was started so that everyone can get the benefit. Branch penetration in rural areas is still not commensurate with the growing demand for financial services. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is a Government of India financial inclusion program aimed at increasing affordable access for Indian citizens (minors) to financial services such as bank accounts, credit, remittances, insurance and pension. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, unveiled the scheme in his first Independence Day speech on 15 August 2014, launched this financial inclusion initiative on 28 August 2014
An Analysis of Surrogacy Problems in India
Get PDFThis study is concerned with the issues of surrogacy and women\u27s rights. It also covers a variety of surrogacy-related topics. Legal issues, psychological issues, religious issues, ethical issues, general issues, and health issues were also discussed in this study. This study discusses the many types of surrogacy. Though, this study also focuses on the rights of surrogate mothers and children, as well as government initiatives aimed at improving surrogacy and surrogate mother and child rights in India. In this study, I conceptualize incidents related to surrogacy and legal issues in the global context, but I also gestate the landscape of surrogacy in India, as it is a new concept for India and not acceptable in various portfolios, so I also focused on the social and economic background for the deepening of this concept at the grassroots level. While constructing this research, I also critically assess the Artificial Reproductive Technology (ART) Bill, in which I critically analyses both its positive and bad features for the research\u27s impact on commissioning parents and their surrogacy rights. In conclusion, procreating a kid in a surrogate woman\u27s womb is a grateful gift to those women who are unable to conceive

Get PDFThe increasing rate of marginalisation due to the fast changing globalisation and mechanisation has accelerated the severity of exploitation of unskilled workers, particularly unorganised workers in the industries. There has been an increasing identification of poverty as evidenced by statistics pertaining to the informal industrial sector. Moreover, the nature of the work in the industrial sector is increasingly becoming subcontracting due to the opening up and also to withstand the pressure of labour market demand in the global setting. The increasing tendency of openness makes the illiterate and untrained labourers in the industrial sector more vulnerable to further exploitation. The working and living conditions are revealed to be highly detrimental to workers health. To overcome this situation, the government from time to time has enacted legislations and constituted welfare boards to improve the working and living conditions and wage regulations. But these bodies failed miserably in ensuring the said priorities. It is found that to tide over this situation, they have been introducing their own ways of welfare programs. But these programs in effect are found to be providing only cosmetic face lift to the workers in the industrial sector and are fully outside the ambit of the basic requirements of industrial workers particularly Sikandrabad city

The data take from 5 financial year annual reports of Tata Steel Limited from 2016-17 to 2019-20. To analyze the profitability statement were Simple Percentage Analysis and Ratios are used in the present study. Profitability of Tata Steel (stand-alone) is at the appreciable level. Even then, if it takes some steps by generating internal sources the profitability position will be increased more than the present level
