India’s Strategy to Procure Lithium to be a Leading Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturer
Lithium is one of the foremost valuable metal which is widely used for manufacturing batteries and also has other uses in solar panels, ceramics, glasses and pharmaceuticals. Lithium is third most abundant element after hydrogen and helium but the most lithium deposits are only in Bolivia (21 million tons), Argentina (17 million tons), Chile (9 million tons), Australia (6.8 million tons), China (4.5 million tons). Bolivia, Argentina, Chile forms so called lithium triangle. Due to depleting reserves of fossil fuels and its harmful impact on the environment has forced the globe to shift to Lithium-ion batteries which is much eco-friendlier alternative. India’s push for electric vehicles (EV) may cause a considerable change in its energy security priorities, with securing lithium supplies, a key material for creating batteries, becoming as important as buying oil and gas fields overseas. India doesn\u27t have enough lithium reserves for manufacturing lithium-ion batteries. The majority electric vehicles within the country run on imported batteries, mostly from China. At present a lithium-ion battery accounts for 40% of the overall cost of an electrical vehicle.

Service Quality of Government Bank in Rural Area of Uttarakhand (India)
We know that the approx and over 65% portion of India’s population resides in the rural areas of the country and therefore rural banking plays an important role in the Indian financial system. Remote areas usually have limited number of opportunities for survival and growth. The need for proper rural banking infrastructure cannot be overlooked in these distant remote regions especially in the wake of sustainable development of the country as a whole.
Demand the higher agricultural technology, we need in turn higher uses of funds and that can only be fulfilled through rural banking. Economic liberalization lead lot many firms, companies, and SMSE to rise and live up to the expectation of rural society. These stakeholders are working in a challenging situation in hard geographical zones and hence need proper banking support and financial inclusion. Just to justify the topic ‘Rural banking’ and that too in hard geographical sphere, we selected hard remote region of Uttarakhand for research and 100 samples have collected through structured interview schedule. Derivation of an Enhanced Pressure Differential Expression, for a Penetration Injection with Back Pressure
In real-world water injection applications, an in-line injection facilitates a pressure differential that boosts the current flow. A pressure differential created by the injection of a pressurized flow into the mainline of flow is derived from the momentum transfer equation. Heat loss is disregarded, and such empirical equations provide a ballpark value to these pressure differentials during the injection.
In industrial applications, injection of the fluid is done on the surface, due to weld and other constraints where losses due to friction and eddy current formation are imminent. On the other hand, penetration injection provides a far more augmented pressure differential that has a polynomial impact based on the mainline flow rate and the injection flow rate.
This paper aims to derive an accurate representation of the pressure differential values obtained from a penetration injection through experimentation and compare it against a surface injection or empirical calculation. The paper concludes by indicating that the penetration injection augments the pressure differential with a new empirical formula for the derived pressure differential as a polynomial equation for this apparatus and can be extended across different sizes of the mainline and injection line diameters. This work provides a precise formula that can be used to derive pressure differential and estimate the flow and pressure rates. The formula also provides a platform for further utility in the fracturing operations where fracture flow from the well upstream presents multiple injection fractures to the mainline through fracture pores

Building Information Modelling (BIM): Benefits for Small Scale Construction Industry
While time passes and life changes, the development of technology is taking place in every part of our life quickly, also it affects daily life. it creates new tools, procedures, and methods for all sectors, and simplifies many operations. Nowadays, design tools that depend on computers have been used in the construction industry, it has a direct effect on the whole project life, and it has made a revolution in the construction sector. Building information modeling (BIM) simply refers to the development of a building model generated by using the computer, that model is rich of data, object-oriented, smart and also a parametric digital representation of the building.
This paper discusses the advantages of implementation of BIM technology for the small scale construction industry, it will mainly focus on quantity takeoff and accuracy of projects, firstly it presents the definition and the main concept of BIM. Then, a case study of a 3-storey building project in Baghdad is done to evaluate the effect of BIM quantity takeoff, tendering, and other effects on the project. At the end, results and challenges will be discussed
Investigating the Factors Affecting Delays in Infrastructure Projects
Time and expense overruns are regular occurrences in the construction industry all around the world but these are a major concern in developing countries such as India, and their consequences can be extremely harmful when public infrastructure projects are concerned. In India as per the MoS & PI report, as of October 2019, there were 552 delayed construction projects, and the mean time overrun in these 552 delayed projects is29.07 months. Many studies in the literature review previously, have concentrated on a variety of infrastructure risk management issues but there have only been a few studies that have looked into the overall dynamics of infrastructure and how a project\u27s timeline can be affected by changing risk interactions. This article aids in the investigation of the variables and causes of construction delays in infrastructure projects
Real-Time WebRTC based Mobile Surveillance System
The rapid growth that has taken place in Computer Vision has been instrumental in driving the advancement of Image processing techniques and drawing inferences from them. Combined with the enormous capabilities that Deep Neural networks bring to the table, computers can be efficiently trained to automate the tasks and yield accurate and robust results quickly thus optimizing the process. Technological growth has enabled us to bring such computationally intensive tasks to lighter and lower-end mobile devices thus opening up a wide range of possibilities. WebRTC-the open-source web standard enables us to send multimedia-based data from peer to peer paving the way for Real-time Communication over the Web. With this project, we aim to build on one such opportunity that can enable us to perform custom object detection through an android based application installed on our mobile phones. Therefore, our problem statement is to be able to capture real-time feeds, perform custom object detection, generate inference results, and appropriately send intruder alerts when needed. To implement this, we propose a mobile-based over-the-cloud solution that can capitalize on the enormous and encouraging features of the YOLO algorithm and incorporate the functionalities of OpenCV’s DNN module for providing us with fast and correct inferences. Coupled with a good and intuitive UI, we can ensure ease of use of our application
The Effect of Undergraduates’ Perception on Career Selection in Tourism and Hospitality Industry
The tourism and hospitality industry is struggling with the issue of attracting and retaining quality educated employees. It has led to a shortage of skilled personnel to staff the growing tourism and hospitality businesses, after the COVID 19 Pandemic. The job turnover rate in the tourism and hospitality sector rose due to the contemporary situation in the world. Especially, the promogulated lockdown and travel ban adversely affected the job security of the employees in the tourism and hospitality sector. Thus, the objective of this study is to identify the effect of undergraduates’ perception on career selection in tourism and hospitality industry. A total of 120 undergraduates representing three state universities were selected using stratified sampling method for this study. Primary data was collected via structured questionnaire. Quantitative data analysis methods along with the descriptive, correlation and multiple regressions were utilized to analyze the data using SPSS. Results confirmed that personal factors, educational factors and industrial factors impact on the willingness of career selection in tourism and hospitality industry. Moreover, personal factors are most influential to the career selection of undergraduates. Thus, Universities must enhance the opportunities for practical exposures, attitude development, sign memorandum of understanding, updating curriculum to shape the undergraduate perceptions
Entrepreneurial Orientation and Market Share of Selected Quoted Consumer Goods Manufacturing Companies in Nigeria
Firm performance is fundamental to businesses considering its role in assisting organisations to realize their goals and achieve successes. Consumer goods manufacturing industry in Nigeria are experiencing decline in performance like profitability, market share, sales growth, competitive advantage, and productivity resulting from poor application of entrepreneurial orientation measures. This study examined the interaction between entrepreneurial orientation and market share of selected quoted consumer goods manufacturing companies in Nigeria.The study adopted cross sectional survey research design. The population of the study was 1,551of twelve (12) quoted consumer goods manufacturing companies in Nigeria. Total enumeration was used to sample the entire population. A self-developed structured and validated questionnaire was used for data collection. The Cronbach’s alpha ranges between 0.721 and 0.892. The response rate was 90.5%. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (Multiple and Hierarchical regression analysis).Findings revealed that entrepreneurial orientation components had significant influence on market share of selected quoted consumer goods companies in Nigeria (Adj. R2 = 0.791; F (5,441) = 339.129, p= 0.000). The study concluded that entrepreneurial orientation (innovativeness, competitive aggressiveness, proactiveness, risk-taking and planning flexibility) had significant effect on market share of selected quoted consumer goods companies in Nigeria and recommended that managers of selected quoted consumer goods manufacturing companies should practice entrepreneurial orientation ideologies to be able to be proactive and competitive enough to further boost the market portion of quoted consumer goods companies
