Implementation of a Web based System and Mobile Platform for Encouragement of Local People to Engage in Proper Workout Practices Such that Ensuring their Health and Physical Wellbeing Stays on Good Standards
Improperly maintained unhealthy livelihood of a person will have a direct impact on his or her life and as well as safety. When it comes to good health and wellbeing, there is nothing which comes above that. Careless and unreliable guidelines on workout postures, not knowing about compulsory nutrients for body and the poor knowledge on supplements are the major reasons behind most of the people being the bearers of fatty, lethargic bodies surrounded with diseases. It is better to know the thing in the correct way and practice it, rather than engaging in it without knowing the consequences and benefits. A system will be proposed to collaborate with the well experienced trainers, coaches and physicians in nationwide to provide proper health guidelines to have good food, better postures on workouts and ultimately a healthy body with no worries about deadly diseases. Likewise, a web application which brings up the blog posts on the tips and informative guidelines on a healthy life which is mutually collaborated with a mobile application to track the users on following those guidelines properly would be the ideal solution for a country to enhance their health standards in a progressive way
Travel Planner Web Implementation
“Soul Travel” is a travel planning application built for a travel agency which is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The agency currently uses a manual process to plan the journey for their customers. The customer has to visit or call the agency to plan or book their journey. The proposed system includes mainly two modules. One module allows customers to manually select their destinations, flights, hotels, and vehicles and come up with their own package while the other module allows customers to book the package with a fixed number of items the agency provides. After that the selected packages will be saved under the user\u27s account and one of threadfins will be able to process the packages that the users have created. In addition to that, the admin users will be able to add destinations, hotels, cars, and flights to the system and manage them accordingly. This system improves the efficiency of the current process while attracting more customers to the agency
Smart Waste Management System
Waste management is a problem that we are thriving worldwide. Still, a majority of the world is trying to figure out a way to administrate and monitor waste in an efficient way to minimize the outburst of environmental perils. Even though various methodologies and technologies have been used to find a solution still none of them has reached their full potential level. This paper proposes an approach to provide a solution for waste management at its starting point with cost-effective benefits and a higher rate of practicality. With the help of the Internet of things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) based Image processing we have developed a handheld device with an integrated app to find a solution for this problem. The device will have the application to monitor the bin\u27s environment sending data to the admin to make further actions if necessary, regarding the maintenance of the bin. Furthermore, the bin will be able to communicate with the user when requested. To make the user more involved in using the bin properly the app will provide a rewarding system to encourage the user to keep using the bin properly. With the joined eco-system of all these technologies, waste management and segregation can be done more effectively with less manpower and more awareness and encouragement among the users creating a new era of a clean eco-system
Automatic Speech Recognition System to Analyze Autism Spectrum Disorder in Young Children
It\u27s possible to learn things about a person just by listening to their voice. When trying to construct an abstract concept of a speaker, it is essential to extract significant features from audio signals that are modulation-insensitive. This research assessed how individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) recognize and recall voice identity. Autism spectrum disorder is the abbreviation for autism spectrum disorder. Both the ASD group and the control group performed equally well in a task in which they were asked to choose the name of a newly-learned speaker based on his or her voice. However, the ASD group outperformed the control group in a subsequent familiarity test in which they were asked to differentiate between previously trained voices and untrained voices. Persons with ASD classified voices numerically according to the exact acoustic characteristics, whereas non - autistic individuals classified voices qualitatively depending on the acoustic patterns associated to the speakers\u27 physical and psychological traits. Child vocalizations show potential as an objective marker of developmental problems like Autism. In typical detection systems, hand-crafted acoustic features are input into a discriminative classifier, but its accuracy and resilience are limited by the number of its training data. This research addresses using CNN-learned feature representations to classify children\u27s speech with developmental problems. On the Child Pathological and Emotional Speech database, we compare several acoustic feature sets. CNN-based approaches perform comparably to conventional paradigms in terms of unweighted average recall
The Best You: Gym Based Machine Learning Application
Use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning is rapidly becoming more widespread in the 21st century. Both are quickly emerging increasingly vital aspects of today\u27s standard exercise routines. Artificial intelligence has become inextricably linked to health and fitness. Experts in the field of technology believe that AI will solve all problems. When it comes to fitness, it has the ability to empower the app by drastically increasing engagement, which may lead to long-term income. In other words, it has the potential to make money. Apps that are equipped with AI have the potential to provide consumers a wide range of benefits. It is feasible for a person who is interested in fitness to save money because an artificial intelligence fitness trainer is more cost-effective than a human trainer. On the other hand, joining a gym may be cost prohibitive or just not doable given our hectic schedules. Aside from that, using fitness software that is powered by AI might make working out more fascinating and fun. In this section, we will discuss some of the best fitness applications that are powered by AI and machine learning models. This app creates unique training plans for each user using artificial intelligence This app was originally designed exclusively for use in gyms, but it recently changed its focus to meet the rising demand for at-home exercise. Simply put, FitnessAI pushes users to effectively build muscle every time they exercise by optimizing their weight lifting sets, repetitions, and weights for each activity. The main purpose of proposing this application system is to provide gym-goers with the right information at the right time, preventing them from taking the wrong supplements to maintain their body well
The Effect of Organizational Climate to Employee Engagement in a Private Educational Institution
Many structures have been investigated over the years as possible predictors of work involvement, some have been important and others have not been so important. In this context, one particular structure that has received little attention is the organizational climate. Thus, this study was conducted to explore the effect of organizational climate to employee engagement in a private educational institutional setting. The study used a descriptive research design involving 105 regular faculty of the tertiary department of a private tertiary school for the 2nd Semester of SY 2019-2020. This study used a modified questionnaire as a data gathering tool. The results of the study showed that the private tertiary school has a very good organizational climate in terms of rewards and clarity but poor in terms of flexibility, responsibility, and standards. Nonetheless, the results proved that the employees of the private tertiary school are very highly engaged in their respective jobs. Furthermore, the results proved that overall Organizational Climate affects employee engagement. Among climate dimensions, only clarity and rewards significantly affect employee engagement. The better the climate in terms of the two dimensions, the higher the level of employee engagement
Agrogenic – IoT Based Modern Automated Greenhouse System
World population growth has created a number of problems, the most serious of which is the threat of famine. In the Sri Lankan context, there is an urgent need to increase the production of crops and other crops due to the rapidly growing population of Sri Lanka. There we considered two effects. The composition of phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen levels in the soil plays an important role. Here we have introduced a new mechanism to identify nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorous levels, which are the main factors that stimulate plant growth inside the soil. There is a required level of nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus for a certain plant that is grown inside a greenhouse. When the line chart identifies that there is not enough nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus in the soil, it will generate an alert through the mobile app. At the same time, arrangements have been made to supply fertilizer that contains nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. After the recommended life span of a plant, the productivity of the organically fertilized plant group and the group of chemically fertilized plants are compared separately. Another thing to consider is, Plant and genetic researchers have found that different wavelength factors directly contribute to plant growth. A small amount of research has been done in these areas and some research is still ongoing. Research has shown that light wavelengths affect plant growth. In this case, we have made greater use of the technical side to stimulate plant growth by controlling such wavelength factors well. Then the mobile app user can control the decoders through the mobile app and set the required amounts of light intensity. In this proposed system, Users can put the new plant species inside the greenhouse and control the light beam wavelength through the mobile app
A Study of Behavioural Finance in Decision Making
The traits of human behaviour examined in this article have always existed, but the economy seems to have forgotten about them. Given that people are the driving forces behind this economic cosmos, why this is so remains a mystery. Perhaps a plausible explanation is that traditional viewpoints are too closed to the issue and lack the willingness to embrace and comprehend how the psychology of the investor affects his decisions and day-to-day financial movements
Effect of Pulsating Current on 304HCU GTAW Joints
Super 304HCu super austenitic stainless-steel tubes containing 2.3 to 3 (Wt.%) Copper (Cu) are used in high temperature tubes and reheating of nuclear power plants. In general, stainless steel austenitic welded by conventional gas tungsten arc welding (CC-GTAW) now produces solid column grains, alloy disintegration and may result in lower mechanical properties. Pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding (PCGTAW) can control the formation of solids by altering the existing gradients in the weld.
Super 304HCu OD 60.5 mm tubes and 3.5 mm wall thickness are automatically welded using CC and PC-GTAW processes. The joints can be detected using optical microscopy, a robust machine and a Vickers microhardness tester. The thermal properties of weld joints were tested and associated with their sub-structural features
Development of Stilling Basin Models with Appurtenances
This research paper describes about the experimental work leading to the sustainable hydraulic structures by developing new stilling basin model as compared to USBR VI stilling basin model for pipe outlet using with sills. The experimental study was carried out for three Froude numbers namely 3.85, 2.85 and 1.85 for non-circular pipe outlet. Performance index (PI) has been used to evaluate the performance of stilling basin models tested using same sand base material and test run time. The scour pattern was measured for each test run and flow pattern was also observed. After 21 tests runs, it was found that the performance of stilling basin model improved even by reducing the length of basin from 8.4 d to 6 d by introducing intermediate sill of square cross section along with USBR VI impact wall and end sill. Performance of this model was found to be better than USBR VI impact basin for similar flow condition at reduced length of 6 d from 8.4d where d is the equivalent diameter of pipe outlet
